You told that other anon that polyamory helps with keeping ones individuality. Can you elaborate on how polyamory helps people retain their individuality? I’m not questioning you or being sarcastic, I’m just curious and interested. 😊
I had a hard time articulating my explanation but my girl helped me out so i’m just gonna directly quote her:
Polyamory is love without possession. Nothing you do or feel has anything to do with your partner outside of your specific interactions and chemistry. So when you’re out in the world outside of that back and forth you act on behalf of yourself. Monogamy makes us shut certain doors that polyamory leaves ajar both in our physical space and in our minds.
