One month until due date! 19th September come at me! I've felt so incredibly well this whole pregnancy. I've loved nourishing my body with good food and good thoughts. I truly believe that my subconcious positive beliefs about pregnancy and birth have had a positive impact on how much this pregnancy physically affects me. I am so excited and looking forward to labour and birth my baby, knowing my body and baby are a team who can work together to safely bring him out of me. I feel a great tragedy that so many women do not have faith in their bodies and/or are routinely told that they can't birth their babies naturally. I really enjoyed the documentary The Face of Birth - highly recommend looking it up! The only sucky parts of pregnancy now is that I literally can't fot as much food in so need to eat more regularly, which I often forget to do. Haven't had any swelling and can still tie my shoelaces lol. Got a few stretch marks on my lower belly but nothing too major. Back pain has all gone away. Walking Finley is harder but only because I'm slower and get puffed out quicker. Speaking of Finley, his training is going so well! He walks well by the pram, settles on his bed and only jumped the baby gate once haha. His door manners are much better. He's having a bit of seperation anxiety now that Clover is gone, so have started him on Lovan to help him cope with all the changes to come. He doesn't *need* need it but it will help. We've drafted a birth plan and have our 36 week appt with our midwives tomorrow!
