Things you think you should know but you don’t.. (How I adult)
So recently as I have been going through this thing people usually refer to as “adulting”, I realized that I didn’t know a lot of things so I thought I’d share my experiences regarding “adulting” to people who may stumble upon this post and the next posts. These are practical things such as:
1. Passport Renewal with DFA
2. Application for Australian Visa (Pls do not get one through a travel agency, I can help you through the APPLICATION)
3. Securing your NBI Clearance
4. Applying for a job and building your resume
5. Makeup101 and product recommendations (affordable and worth your money)
6. Making the most of your undergraduate degree (FYI, I was a BS Management major in Ateneo de Manila University. To clear things, this is probably not for those who’ve graduated but I’d like to share some thoughts to those who have yet to graduate. More on this in a future post but try not to make QPI the factor for taking a class you’re thinking of enlisting to.)
7. Work life in general (Being in Makati but living in QC)
8. How to be smart about your money (Not going to be talking about how to invest and all, but more on simpler things as to what you should really be doing with your salary)
Everything from 1-4 is actually REALLY REALLY SIMPLE.
Just to share some things I have yet to figure out:
1. Securing my Universal ID (covers SSS, Pag Ibig, etc.)
2. Registering to vote (Yes, unfortunately I was not able to vote in the recent elections but please do not lecture me on this. I PROBABLY KNOW what you’re going to say and I PROBABLY agree. :P)
