Because the internet in my dorm wasn’t working for my decade-old macbook and dorm support was taking too long, I visited @brightgreendandelions in Germany and was Linuxed by them. Great thanks to them!
i LOVE the casual name-dropping of places i'm actually familiar with irl in classic literature 💚
i think as an austrian person it is my duty to make my coffee as fucked up as possible while maintaining plausible deniability
the one thing i miss about travelling to a foreign country is having conversations in my austrian dialect (of german) and always being aware of how much people around me would actually understand if they listened in
ok so there's a new monster energy zero sugar flavour in stock in my local supermarket that is twice as expensive as the regular flavours and the text on the can is in what i think is polish??? in austria?????? like they had to add a german language sticker with the ingredients for legal reasons???? very strange. i will be consuming it
austria i swear to god if you mess this up—
i wish the noric language was still around (or even just better preserved, we only have two fragments 😭), i think it would be so interesting to learn/study the local language of a people who lived here such a long time ago
