My first AO3 comment 🥹

Y'all, I got my very first AO3 comment. 🥹❤️

This means so much to me. I put a lot of thought into the disability representation in this story, especially in the chapters from the main character's perspective. As a disabled creator with cerebral palsy, I wanted to write a character whose experiences felt real and honest, while still letting them be complicated, capable, loved, and badass.

Seeing someone connect with that and tell me it resonated with them honestly makes my heart so happy. This is exactly the kind of thing I hoped the story could do when I started writing it.

I know every disabled person's experience is different, but hearing that parts of this story made someone feel seen is incredibly meaningful to me.

I'm just sitting here smiling like an idiot right now. 💜

Angsty incoming

I'm feeling very I don't even know how to describe it. I'm full of rage and sorrow and feel like putting these feels to use.

So with that development, an angsty story titled Fire in her eyes coming soon. Featuring a very traumatized Natasha Romanoff

So I did the last of Revan on Gronn.  I will be walking him through KotFE in order to get the various BH specific references, since that crew knows Eva and would greet her as if they knew her. 

But I have to do Ziost first.  Which is ow ow ow. (...I think I might get another smuggler through Makeb and Forged Alliances and just sort of leave her there as Rishi starts for a bit, then do Ziost. )

I’m also really cognizant that I’m approaching the last phase of the Yavin fic, and... I sorta don’t want to let it go. It’s my longest work ever and the longest work I will complete, probably.  It also captures my character’s last happy moments with her crew, when they’re together and young and just bouncing from adventure to adventure and she has this guy, kinda...

That doesn’t come back together again until 8 years pass (3 years for her, not counting popsicle time).  I mean, Chapter 9 of KotFE is a highlight, but being completely free and happy and safe with her crew and the guy she loves?  That’s awhile yet to come.

That writer feel of “oh this shouldn’t take too long to write” *proceeds to spend so much time on set up and explanation before even getting to the one scene you wanted to write, adding in all the ‘breaks’ you take between paragraphs because writing is tiring, means that you don’t finish until next week*

When you’re trying to write sexy scenes but not be too smutty and you have to use thesaurus.com to look up words like “horny” and “dirty-minded” to find something that sounds more romantic lmao.
