Try by Lily Burana - THE. BEST. FUCKING. COWBOY. BOOK. Grounded and gritty and fascinating as hell if you’ve ever been curious what rodeoing in and around Wyoming is like. Aaaaaaaaand it has an older MMC & daddy kink!!! I’m so upset that this is literally one of the only works of fiction this author has written to date 🥲
Texas Rodeo Series by Kari Lynn Dell (6 books) - THE gold standard. So insanely fucking good + authentic, as the author was born and raised in rodeo culture.
Chestnut Springs Series by Elsie Silver (5 books + several related series) - another PHENOMENAL set of books. A lot less focused on rodeo imo, but the stories are so good!!
Crimson Ridge Series by Elliott Rose (4 books) - HIGHLY HIGHLYYYYY RECOMMEND the first book, Chasing the Wild, for anyone into dbf!Joel + heavy smut. It’s ex-boyfriend’s dad trope and soooooo hot.
Lucky River Ranch Series by Jessica Peterson (5 books) - I’m reading Duke right now, and these men are so fucking sexy LMAO. Will report more later.
Gold Valley Series by Maisey Yates (14 books) - This author has written so so many amazing books, and she also seems super knowledgeable about the subject matter!

Phew... What a year 2025 has been. It surely had its highs and lows. For me, personally, was 2025 not the best year. It's been not always easy. Life threw a lot of challenges in my way this past year. My mental and physical health was something I struggled with quite a lot - but luckily it's gotten better. Knock on wood! I think I'm not the only one who had to deal with a lot in 2025, so... Let's hope things will get better 2026. I thoroughly wish this to happen - for all of us. 🧡
As for my writing, it's been AWESOME. I had the privilege to write wonderful stories. I finished a series I love with all my heart - Love In The Rearview Mirror , and a lot of other smaller projects as well. I improved my writing skills, too, I think - especially in the smut department. New characters found their way into my repertoire. Daniel Pine, Sam Porter Bridges & Joshua 'Scud' Frohmeyer. I'm very proud of that. But despite falling in love with new characters, I never lost the love for all my other fictional husbands - I PROMISE.
I know, there hasn't been much Loki/Hiddles content on here this year, but I just fell into this Daryl/Norman rabbit hole. I have to write what I feel. Unless it's not... good and right. I'm sure you get what I mean. And this year, it's been Daryl all the way. He became such an important comfort character for me and quite honestly helped through a lot. This doesn't mean that I don't love Loki any less - absolutely not. I will never not love him - and one day, I'll return to him. I am very happy to have received a few requests for my 3k follower celebration for him. I'm looking forward to write those. Dear fellow Loki mutuals - I promise I never forgot about you and him. I treasure you all. 💚

hmm, i do not feel like fetching links rn, butttt ive recently been enjoying @angelamajiki's stuff a lot and she writes a lot of dilf-adjacent Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent. pa clark makes me feel nervous, like I'm actually a virgin losing my virginity for the first time again which is a super high compliment bc i don't feel that often and its a feeling i chase a lot in my own writing. i also really really love @huckleberry-writes bruce wayne stuff. very sensual, very daddy coded, and she's very good at writing smut which is hard to come by these days. theyre both very good at simultaneously making you feel that gooey, comforted feeling of being held while also maintaining the dread in your stomach feeling i love so much from yandere fics, which is not an easy balance to achieve. love them both very much mwah mwah mwah.
