Do you know any advanced programs for recognizing plagiarized content?
Guys, I have a weird question.
My friend is an editor in a publishing house and she’s editing a manuscript rn. The book is written in Polish, but laden with such blatantly English-sounding language structures - that it’s more or less obvious to her that this whole work has been roughly translated. As in: stolen from some unsuspecting English author.
It’s also a truly terrible book. I’ve seen excerpts. It’s drivel.
Imagine deciding to pouch someone else’s work for the fame of being An Author!!!11, but at the same time - being too dumb to effectively distinguish between what is worth stealing and what’s not.
But. Of course my friend wants to expose this cheap scammer. But to do so, she needs Proof. And the internets haven’t been particularly giving.
What we need to do is find a program which will be able to recognize text which has been already (very rudimentary) translated from English to Polish, and then translated back.
Can you guys help?
