Hyperfixation time with Unreal

Okay so today's ramble is about My Chemical Romance. I went to see them in London a couple of weeks ago (best gig I've ever been to omg) and I've been dipping in and out of obsession since then. However, I'm on summer holidays and I've got nothing else to focus on so my brain has jumped fully into obsession mode. SO

I've been a fan of MCR since I was about four (possibly younger) and have always loved them, I was obsessed when I was about ten but not to the extent that I am now. So following from the gig obviously I've been listening to them a lot, and reading up on them and the music and I started learning the lore.

The fact that they've put so much effort and energy into creating a story for each of their albums is so cool to me, I find it so interesting that they've managed to come up with this whole storyline for each one. Specifically right now I'm obsessed with Three Cheers cause I think the plot and the overall vibe of the album and everything is so so good. I've watched video essays, and read posts and watched documentaries, and it's just the coolest thing ever to me. UGH I'm just obsessed and wanted to ramble

firm believer of rarijack in the Equestria Girls timeline but appledash in the Friendship Is Magic one cuz in my opinion they are completely different ppl/ponies.

Okay, since the episode is now on YouTube, I can talk about it like a normal person...

BUT I AM STILL NOT OKAY, I'M GONNA CRY, THIS EPISODE WAS JUST AS GOOD AS THE DAY I SAW IT IN THEATERS

I will be honest, I used to be a full Funnybunny shipper (though I never really talked about it online), I wasn't really that big on the Jesterdoll (Pomni X Ragatha) ship, but after this episode... holy shit, I can understand now.

Gangle's door is open. Zooble got their wish and Abstragedy is now canon. I'm so happy!

And now into the heavy stuff. Where do I begin with this?

I still can't believe Jax abstracted. Even though I thankfully wasn't spoiled going into the theaters, I knew it was coming. And yet, it still hurts that it did happen. Jax may have been an asshole, I don't wish something like abstraction on even my worst enemy.

His final words broke my heart, "I don't wanna go"

And seeing the self inflicted fallout between Jax, Ribbit and Kaufmo is still hard to watch. Ribbit just wanted their friend 😭

It's... Bittersweet, seeing Jax depicted alongside the other abstracted characters in this mural.

At least Jax is now with Ribbit and Kaufmo in the aquarium. They can finally be together again after all that time. I just wish it was under better circumstances.

And there's Pomni, who honors Jax by breaking the fourth wall. It's the least she can do.

I can't show it because of the pic limit but in the credits, Pomni is also learning the piano.

I'm gonna miss this series.

Whatever happens now, I'll be happy to tag along for the ride. This show has been a huge inspiration for me. It helped me work through things I haven't thought I'd deal with. And there's definitely a lot I'll have to work through still, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. No matter what that will be

All I can say now is.... Despite all the chaos, and all the shit that this fanbase has pulled, I'm happy to have watched the show. I look forward to whatever comes next

I went to a Snake Discovery event at my local library! 🌿🐍

I've been watching their YouTube channel on an off again for years. It was so cool to meet some of the staff and snakes in person!

This character has been the fuel for everything in my life

The og comic may have given some people the ick but I found it at 10 years old and it has changed the course of my life

I would not be the person I am now if I have no found this comic and it definitely shows

Not about self shipping or shipping him around with others. Just him being there and being a part of my little stories makes me happy, and that's all I need.

Ive been putting off watching rottmnt for almost a year at this point cause I knew I was gonna get hyperfixated on it, and one of my least favorite things is switching interest and getting completely obsessed with a whole new thing

I did finally watch it though and I was completely correct this is all I think about now but also HOLY SHIT I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH THE ART IS AMAZING AND THE CHARACTERS ARE SO FUNNY I NEED THIS SHOW TO BE 20 SEASONS LONG IM ALREADY DONE WITH IT
