No prob! It’s certainly a crude movie w some “edgy” humor, but it was also a lot of fun and very self aware in some parts.
You can expect it to be super violent in a funny way, but there’s some serious parts- anyone who is not okay watching torture should definitely not see it or at least close their eyes once you see that it’s coming (it’s v. obvious). There is some intense stuff, not played for laughs at all.

i think chris and ashley were in a lot of the same classes or at least had different...periods of classes w/ the same teachers? so that set off “hey we can study together!!” since chris is good at math + science while ash is gr8 at writing and english and just PUTTING WORDS TOGETHER IN ALL CAPACITIES (history kind of is hard on both of them lmao)
idk about other classes and im too drunk to think too hard on it bUT things i HAVE thought about!!!
- BETH THE THEATER NERD FULLSTOP. Josh was kindasorta a theater bro but not as extreme as beth, but he did it to spend time with her!!! and he definitely dragged the rest of them into a production or smth oh my god i need to put together a drama club/theater/play post sometime!!
- MIKE IS THE HISTORY NERD he’s just good at it?? it’s just his jam. it’s his goddamn JAM he is so into history.
- i mean jess is insecure about her grades but that’s ALMOST canon considering em + jess go after each others’ biggest insecurities in their argument like of course
- BECAUSE EMILY BEING TWO YEARS OLDER THAN MATT MAKES ME KIND OF ??? AND LOGISTICALLY WITH THEIR RELATIONSHIP DOESN’T WORK OUT WITH ME (if he’s still in high school? you know?) I THINK HE IS BY THE TIME UNTIL DAWN STARTS IN HIS FIRST YEAR OF COLLEGE so that’s why peeps (em) give him shit about his letter jacket. because he’s IN HIS FIRST YEAR OF COLLEGE. and STILL WEARING IT. MATTHEW!!!!
- god idk. i mean there’s basic school shit, like how josh was held back in first or second grade and really :/ about it, and then ash skipped fifth grade so she met chris + josh in the first year of middle school but that’s not really high school au
- the “group” was josh + chris + sam + hannah + beth + ash in their first year of high school, but beth met jess, and josh met.....probably mike i think, and the group was solidified by december of freshmen year? i think. MAYBE. i think maybe em+mike+jess+matt were invited to the Annual Blackwood Getaway that year! or maybe em + mike were.
- EM AND MIKE WERE PROBABLY DATING SINCE.......JUNIOR YEAR. i have Spoken.
- em and jess rarely shared class since em was more High Classes and jess is not the smartest (but she’s smarter than she gives herself credit for tbh)
- Matt endorsed Mike in the damn presidential election and matt was the big Football Star so his endorsement meant a Lot
- Sam tried to start an environmental club and hannah joined without coercing and sam used favors to get the rest of them to attend for a hot week or smth, it was a fucking funny time
