It didn't really "flop" from what I'm hearing, it made back almost its entire budget already, it was just not that expensive to make. I think after all these billion dollar box office movies Disney's thrown out last year ppl have a really skewed idea of what a "flop" is. Also misogyny.

The audience reaction to maul alone was worth the price of admission

there were only about 20 people in my theater so i didn’t notice any particular reaction (beyond my own laughter)

but i really have to wonder what people who don’t follow tcw/rebels thought? i imagine it’s a lot more shocking then, because as far as they’re aware, maul died in tpm and that was the end of him. but here he is, lightsaber drawn and duel of the fates playing just so you’re 100% aware that this is definitely him

rather than my reaction which was “oh hey there he is again!” because his cockroach status is hilarious to me
