When I finally got up the courage to meet with him face-to-face, he mostly talked about how he was worried that I was a “secular humanist” who didn’t believe in God. After I assured him that I still believe in Jesus, he started talking to me about how God created marriage for one man and one woman and how some parents complained about me working with the youth, so if I wanted to keep serving in any ministry, he and I would have to have many more meetings before that could happen. He also said that he would have to talk to the church elders and parents before deciding if I was going to be allowed back. Going to church was suddenly less fulfilling and a whole lot more conditional.

A seriously good read about being oneself living the fabulous awesome life one wants to live but struggling with the people one is surrounded by.
Patiently not patiently awaiting the next episode of Unicorn Plan-It. I think the first episode I saw was this one and I was all "wtf?" Cause it's the latest episode of season 2 and I didn't know what the fuck was going on. But love it so much. And now have a crush on Sarah Croce's character and really, Sarah Croce. And you should totally be a fan and watch this thing although it's probably best to start with the first episode
