"Can anyone tell me why this pokemon keeps following me?"
I took a year for a second Boy Willows song to turn up, but it was well worth that wait. He melted us to the core with debut single I’m Good last winter. Autumn Gray arrives just in time for the wist and melancholy that comes with the turning of leaves. The Los Angeles based artist melds dreamy strumming indie rock with sylvan indietronica on the ethereal gliding, golden shimmering lullaby. Like the artwork that comes with the single, Autumn Gray reminds me of a cold fall afternoon. A solitary walk through the woods provides us with the exquisite beauty of a warm orange sun peaking through the brown and yellow foliage overhead, which hang on ever so feebly to its branches in hopes of fighting the coming of winter and standing up to the winds of change. Autumn Gray is picturesquely affecting, a familiar and intimate exploration of our flimsy hearts.
"Seriously, how did he know I would have the knowledge to raise it properly, to hatch it in the first place???
I just wonder sometimes . . . pokemon can end up with cruel trainers or used as trophies and not treated like the living, breathing creatures they are.
I am curious about what this little guy is gonna be."
(Hopefully Maple and Shup won't be jealous)
I'm Autumn and I'm on a mission to repair my home and avenge my family . . .
hi autumn :^] may i ask what happened to your eevee’s leg? have they adapted to the loss okay?
"Lots of gentle rehab was the ticket for this little one, water therapy helped too. When the Goldeens were out of the way."
The one thing that can consistently make Autumn smile or laugh is her Eevee Maple.
They're best friends.
Autumn shook her head. “I can’t just open my own magazine company.”
“Why not?” Chase asked. “You’re an amazing writer.”
“I’m a writer, not a business woman. I can’t hire people to do articles and I don’t have that much money to begin with.”
“I can cover all of the expenses for you,” Chase said. “You’re the only one I’d do that for.”
“No.” She shook her head. “I would never ask you to do that.”
“Write a blog then,” Chase suggested. “Live with me until you get a job that appreciates you. Do freelance work. I don’t mind supporting you.”
Autumn thought for a moment. “Okay fine. I’ll live here and write a blog BUT I’m going to work part time until I get my big break because I want to support myself.”
Chase hugged Autumn again. “Rely on me and I’ll rely on you.”
“Just help me without using your fame and money,” She said quietly. “Love me and I’ll be happy.”
Chase placed a hand behind his neck nervously. “My mother and father.”
“What?” Autumn asked.
“My parents told me they loved me when they didn’t,” Chase explained. “They never told me they loved me growing up. I did everything I could to get their attention and they never gave it to me. Then I got famous and guess who shows up at my doorstep with those three words? I never felt so empty in my entire life.”
“I’m sorry,” Autumn whispered. “That’s terrible. But you know what? Their loss. They’re missing out on a great person.”
“I’m just a spoiled rich kid whose parents were never there. They bought me things to keep me busy but they never once told me that they cared. It was just passing me off, so really is it their loss? Maybe they ignored me for a reason.”
Autumn stood up. “No, don’t say that. I’ve been following your story for a long time. I know you, Chase. I know that you have so much to offer. Forget your talent and fame. You are incredible on your own.”
“I don’t believe you,” Chase replied. “I’m sorry. I don’t see that guy that you see.”
