ACU hcs on whether or not the characters in the acu episodes got to celebrate birthdays, why? Cuz I can and also it’s my birthday :D
Horror world: too much focus on survival, and too little time
Medival 1: Jei, frisk and Apollo celebrated properly (tho mad king’s was a bit more extravagant), Wisp and Zach just sung happy birthday to each other since they were far from being able to celebrate and were getting ready to rebel. Shaq’s birthday was never celebrated, only mourning happened that day
Medival 2: everyone got to celebrate their birthday, most were surprise party’s! But they had the time to enjoy it
Winter apocalypse: didn’t have much, they couldn’t track days properly so they sometimes guessed, only half got to celebrate
Evolved invasion/new crew: no one had a birthday that month but pre-expedition they celebrated at home with their family
Desert civ: everyone got to celebrate but Ethan (dead), asf had less full blown birthday parties then the desert folk (mostly because asf doesn’t care about birthdays)
Realistic zombie: Apollo tried to set up a surprise birthday for Frisk, got caught but both had fun anyways, 1 day before exodus, nature and Ghostly joined the group they had celebrated nature’s birthday. Both were on the wrong dates but post apocalypse time is hard when your trynna survive
Modder Apollo/deadliest player: idk-
Yellowstone park: They celebrated 3/4 birthdays, Derp was on a dif month they never reached, they joked he was the birthday cake
Pillager gov: tho they were high on adrenaline 90% of the time, the other 10% they were resting, so if anyone remembered the time and dates, they’d get a happy birthday
Underground prison: no time sense and too much survival at stake, no birthdays
Victorian horrors: no birthdays happened during this, but pre and post they had nice birthdays (except for the firsts after the horrors since they had been missing their friends)
Futuristic: very shabby birthdays but hey, they enjoyed it, it was the littlest they could do
APOC LABS: Don’t celebrate birthdays (not counting rat’s birthday since that was left up to interpretation on canon)
Asf: try to discourage any celebration, “a time waster”

oughhg the med1 zach and wisp one made me tear up LMAO. this whole list is making me emotional i don't know why.... in every universe they experience the horrors, but some of them still find time to shine a little light in the darkness for each other
