You know what? That’s pretty fucking delightful, actually.  Nothing but a little practical joke to annoy a little poor ol’ Donnie, who wanted nothing but do his job, for a change.

outside her door, whenever she'll open it, lilli can find a nice, red flower on the "welcome" carpet, and a small letter beside it, written with uncertain hand, that recites in german: « i'm afraid i'm not very good with presents, but i hope you'll like this little thought anyways. happy valentine's day! johann würde » / auuponle ;3c

She just wanted to leave to get some food as she discovered the flower, and letter on her door. 

Her cheek felt suddenly so hot, and even hotter after she actually read the letter. That was… really sweet. She… hasn’t gotten since a long time anything on valentine’s day. And she had never expected that Würde would get her something! Even if it is something small, Lilli couldn’t but smile brightly as she placed the flower inside a small vase with water. 

She surely wants to get him something as well. Maybe she should bake him something?

Oh boy. Oh boy… Is he asking her for a dare? It sure sounded like it! Lilli doesn’t know how to answer at first, and just stared dumbfounded at Rufus. Just after a moment she found her voice again.

“O-Of course!”

The woman spoke, a little to loud, and eager than she had wanted. She quickly clears her throat, while her cheeks went a little red, before she tried again, smiling at him this time though.

“Ahem… I-I mean… Sure. I would love to!”

Can she get even more awkward by now? It didn’t actually mattered to her at all where they would go for a date. As long as he is around she is… really happy.

He hears the gun at the very last second. Lance barely has the time to turn around and notice him, before he’s forced to duck out of the way, the bullet flying but a few centimeters away from his face before exploding behind him.

In any other case, he would’ve started yelling at whoever dared to even think about shooting at him - and instead, the mere sight of that boy seems to make any word die in his throat for the first few seconds, wondering if by any chance he did something the Order would deem as worth being shot at from Hunter, of all people.

But no.He’s…quite certain he’s been good, lately. Not a law broken, not even a quarrel with the locals… so why is he there?!

Tense, he reaches for his axe.

“What gives?! If you’re in the mood for some hunting, then go looking for some monsters!…please.” he adds, his strong voice getting lower.

In the time Lyra had been on earth she had seen so many wonderful things, and especially get to experience the wonder of technologie! Humans were so smart, and creative! Cars, computers, televisions! So many wonderful inventions! But the angels absolute favourite one... was the camera. Taking a picture, and catching a moment forever with it, was such a great idea! You could show it to people who hadn’t the chance to experience the same moment, and it was a nice thing to remember when you looked at it!

The blonde even had bought herself a camera just to take pictures of... literally everything. Scenery, people, animals. So many interesting things to see on earth! And this ‘hobby’ of her made her often go to the most different places to take pictures from there!... Like the edge of a school roof on which she was crouching right now, and from which she was taking pictures of the scenery. 

“Aaaaah! This is such a nice view!”

The immortal being lilted happily, and didn’t even noticed that she probably should be here in the first place. Well, her wings and halo were hidden. Even if someone would find her here, they probably would just mistake her for another student or... something. Was she even aware that she was on the roof of a school? Apparently not, given that she didn’t even reacted to the school bell that rang either to the break or the end of school.

It wasn’t like as if anyone would come up to the roof anyway... right?

Laurence talks calmly, his head tall and the Threaded Cane hitting each stair’s steps with the same, slow rhythm he’s using to reach for the Hunter on the little cementary in front of the Grand Cathedral, barely caring for the corpse of the Giant he almost stepped on.

“Your clothes are still filthy, dripping with the blood of my men. You may look like a human, but for what I see you’re no better than any other beast. It’s my duty to make sure the streets of Yharnam are safe.”

Hm. He’ll have to give him that. He’s a good actor. 

Too bad that his explaination had holes everywhere, and that Hyperion wasn’t particularly into acting in the first place.

“Understandable mistake. It happens to our newcomers as well, every now and then.” the head of the Corporation answers calmly, seemingly not showing any emotion, no anger, no annoyance... Nothing but professionalism, to be fair.

However, he doesn’t move from the door.

“But.”

“I can’t help but notice that there were various signs around here. Right out here, for the matter” he taps a little on the door - exactly on said sign, where a big sign was hanged “So, I’m sorry, but you’re not quite believable, mister.”

Kadal has barely enough time to wave a little his hand, nonchalantly removing some smoke from in front of him while the little lizard servants freaked out all around him, some asking their Lord to just step away as they bit off that jerk’s eye and some other cowering behind him. 

And he. Freaking. Dies.

A precise shot, his hearts stops instantly as soon as the bullet reaches for it. He’s barely hurt, he doesn’t even feel pain before exhalting one last breathe and fall.

        ...and then he wakes up.

Probably after no more than two seconds.  As soon as he opens his eyes, seeing both the ceiling and even more lizards completely losing their mind, his thoughts go for the now fixed hole in his chest. Hm. The bullet must’ve went through him if it took him so little to revive.
