Pat began being lethargic and lazy on his walks a few weeks ago. This week it progressed to a new level, with severe lethargy and dizzy spells, lack of appetite, and even vomiting once. Our regular vet did lots of tests, then transferred us us the local 24/7 pet hospital. There we learned, through a long series of test results and medical jargon, that he needs a pacemaker. Without it any amount of excitement or energy could make his heart stop all together.
