We've made many posts about this fabulous fella, but unfortunately, we just haven't been able to find his perfect Forever Family. As you probably know, there are lots and lots of reasons that #French or #EnglishBulldogs may end up in our care. And as many people that have been in the extremely difficult position of surrendering their beloved pet will tell you, surrendering them doesn't necessarily mean you stop loving them or caring about their well-being... After seeing multiple posts about Murphy, his previous family sent us these pictures and this note: "This face. Oh how we miss that face. We are praying you find the perfect family for your very own Murphy where you can be King of your castle. We know the right person is out there somewhere needing you as much as you need them. This boy is seriously one of the best snugglers. He just doesn't like to share his people with other dogs, it brings out the naughty alpha in him. Having someone to call his very own and unlimited snuggle times would be his dream come true. There is a match somewhere buddy. We love and miss you." Murphy is a sweet, snuggly and affectionate senior that loves his people, and has done wonderfully with older children. More than just a cuddle bug, Murphy loves taking #walks and going for rides in the car, too! As a reminder, Murphy needs: • a family with all adults, or children 13+ • no other dogs in the home • a fenced backyard (bonus points for a doggie door!) • someone that is home during most of the day • his food soaked in water due to megacolon* *Megacolon SOUNDS scary, but it has been really easy to manage with Murphy. Just soak his food, and he’s pretty much good to go! 👍🏻 Poor Murphy has been in our care since November, and we still can’t find the right home for him.
