The 24th Annual Antelope Valley Fair (home sweet) Home Show
coming to the A.V. Fairgrounds
LANCASTER, CA. Homeowners looking for new ways to bring efficiency and style to their properties
are encouraged to attend the 24th annual Antelope Valley Fair Home Show presented by Rally Cadillac, Buick, GMC. The Home Show this year offers new ideas, vendors and opportunities for home
enthusiasts.
The three-day event begins on Friday, March 16th: Noon-6pm, Saturday, March 17th: 9am-6pm and
Sunday, March 18th: 9am-5pm. Admission is FREE, parking: $5.00.
The Show features over 150 diverse vendors and new “How to” seminars on everything from “How
to Hire a Contractor” to “Interior Design know how.” Also new to the show is the Ultimate Garden
Give-away. Home Show attendees interested in winning free products and services offered in the
Ultimate Garden fill out entry forms at the participating vendor booths to be entered into the drawing
to win prizes/services. Prizes/services include: an Advanced Conservation System solar system
certificate towards a solar panel project (value: $1,000) , a 40-gallon natural gas water heater (value:
$699) from Empire Plumbing & Drain, a $500 rebate for leasing a solar system from Energy Plus, a
free roof overhaul service package and gutter cleaning (value: $699) by Green Convergence, a Kitchen
Craft Cookware pots & pans set (value: over $500), a free in-home consultation and American Classic
entry table from My EZ Design (value: $500), a 10’ x 10’ metal Gazebo (value: $1,000) by Sunrise
Construction, a $575 framed 20x24 inch canvas portrait (session included) from Sutton Photography
and so much more!
The popular landscaping seminars sponsored by Palmdale and Quartz Hill Water Districts and
Rosamond Community Service District are back as well as plant sales.
Activities for the kids include: FREE, “make and take” crafts workshops sponsored by Lowes on
Saturday and Sunday only, 10am to 4pm, and FREE ice cream for kids 12 years old and younger,
throughout the show at the A.V. Fair booth (while supplies last) provided by California Dairy
Distributors.
Drawings for free Fair 2012 concert and arena events tickets and A.V. Fair “Read and Ride Program”
applications will also be available at the A.V. Fair booth. The Read and Ride program is offered to
students 5-14 years old. Students read 3 books, fill out the Report Form/Application, bring it to the Fair
in August, and get 1 coupon valid for 3 free carnival rides at the Fair. The annual, free ‘Tomato plant
Giveaway’ (one per person, while supplies last) will also be part of Home Show 2012.
Professional exhibitors will showcase and demonstrate their products and offer time and money-saving
advice. Attendees will find the event an informational goldmine, relative to questions dealing with their
home’s appearance, comfort or functionality.

Fifteen agricultural seminars on subjects ranging from decorative desert landscaping, water efficient
irrigation systems, to growing vegetables or Irises will be featured and led by experts including Neal
Weisenberger in the Van Dam Pavilion foyer and nineteen “How to” seminars will be demonstrated
by Home Show vendors in the Poppy Pavilion foyer throughout all three days of the show. Go to
