The Coming Age Issue 08 Autumn 1978
"Death The Great Adventure" talks a bit about "Avala" the Filianic version of heaven.
"A Leap Through Time" talks a bit about the Moira Method of past life regression and has a projection that I don't believe is in the Moira handbook. This one also mentions "bright blue makeup on her eyes" which means "the heavenly eye of her soul". I have noticed several references to the sacredness of blue eyeshadow in the old Madrian writings.
The story "Singing Heart" has a lot of mythological names and places I've never noticed before! The main character is "Caoimhe", her mother is "Alanthe". "Ruanch Glennan" is a river? "Camdene" is a place? "Ganmaoire" is a waterfall? "Mellaere" is another woman.
The work in progress mentions that "Ritual Magic" has been a very popular Madrian Literature Circle publication and they have taken it out of the Circle and published it, instead, as a series of printed paper that they are offering as a course that will be "psychically vetted". Those who complete the course may be examined for a diploma (In their by-mail Madrian college!) and even considered a member of the "Madrian magical order". Just something interesting to note! I wonder which of the MLCs this was, or if they are simply one of the many missing ones.
There is a section for reviews that ends with a poem that seems to indicate they believe the moon landing is a lie??? However, they may be saying something how how the moon is a symbol, and how, even if man landed on "the moon", he didn't land on "THE moon". So, as usual, it's hard to actually see where they stand on this topic.
