He was beaten, dangled upside-down from a staircase, forced to crouch for hours, locked in a small room without a bathroom, and told to eat from the trash.

Anthony’s mother and her boyfriend have both been charged with torture and murder. The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services “said it will examine whether homophobia is a factor.”

Un Giorno a Vasto

La prima tappa del nostro “on the road” in Italia è Vasto, Abruzzo. Ho iniziato a considerare questa meta per merito di un blog. Mi ha incuriosita la divisione tra Vasto vecchia, arroccata sulle colline, e Vasto Marina, affacciata su un bel tratto della costa adriatica. E devo confermare che questa cittadina è stata davvero una bella sorpresa.
