First of all, Varang got taken off of his parents list, she is no longer his step-mum, and Recom Quaritch is no longer listed separately from Miles Quaritch either anymore

Random question. Are there any Avatar Wiki Editors / Lore Experts who still use tumblr? Working on a comic and need a fact checker on standby for questions. I know it's a stretch, but thought I'd ask anyway. Subject: Legend of Korra era, Spirits & Spirit World

I scrolled the comments on a Avatar Wiki page again, this time it was the Firelord and I got to 2011, beyond people wondering if the female fire lord would be lord or lady, people wondering if Izumi's name would be Ursa (following LOK's previously seen naming skills) and finally, people wondering who the new fire lord is and others answering "Zuko and Mai's son, of course"

I’m going to highlight the Gaang’s adult political positions from Avatar Wiki’s “political info” section.

Counting :

Aang : 2

Zuko : 4

Toph : 4

Sokka : 4

Suki : 2

And… This is Katara’s… 🔍

Also, Katara’s only notable political involvement is outlawing blood-bending. And it’s mentioned like this:

Before 128 AG, Katara's efforts led to the outlawing of bloodbending in the United Republic.[83]

The next sentence in that same paragraph is about Katara being an avatar teacher.

Doesn’t it remind you of the way Yakone mentioned it in LOK?

Always mentioned in such a flippant manner (like, here’s a fun fact about katara, next!) There’s no process to her outlawing blood-bending, no conflicts nor struggles nor triumphs, no worthy story. It leaves an impression that this is just a little freelance adult Katara once did on her free time, instead of something politically groundbreaking.
