“What are you touching?” ( ava )

Ian withdraws her hand immediately, tucking it behind her back with a grin, as if she were a small child getting caught doing something she wasn’t supposed to be doing. Which, when she thinks about it, was pretty close to the present situation. “Nothing!” she assures, “Definitely wasn’t touching anything.” Especially not the freshly baked cake, dripping with chocolate frosting and caramel drizzle.

Worry instantly creeps over her face, eyebrows furrowing. “Do you really?” she questions, eyes trailing down. At first Ian thinks the worst — his arm, wrist, fingers — but then she catches where he’s motioning to and a grimace crosses her lips. “Yeah,” her head shifts in a nod, “Yeah that definitely looks broken.” Fingertips run over the crack of glass that encases the watch face. “I hope it wasn’t an expensive watch?”

⭐️- Porter

Asher will never say it out loud, but sometimes she feels guilty of keeping Porter in her life after all these years. Especially after he found out that she’s a Silver, she feels that it’s selfish of her to maintain this friendship. But the truth was she needed him as a friend. He gave her that glimmer of hope that humans and silvers can perhaps still live in harmony rather than in fear one day. Saying that, whenever she’s in his company, she’s still scared that she might hurt him one day. After all, she can’t fully control her powers yet, and she has accidentally used her powers on the people she loves before.

For each “⭐️” I get, I’ll write a headcanon about our muses.

⭐️- Ava

Nina actually envies the freedom of not being a parent that Ava has sometimes. While she adores Sophia and planned to have a family when she was actually with Porter, that all fell apart so when she found herself pregnant, it was a huge shock to her system. She knows Ava struggled with getting pregnant but sometimes she actually thinks that might be a blessing in disguise. She won’t hesitate to hand over her daughter for her sister to babysit whenever she offers, because the truth is that having Ava around made her realise just how much she missed living wildly and not caring about a single problem in the world.

⭐️- Porter

The weeks leading to Porter leaving Nina, she actually was planning on getting a golden retriever puppy to surprise him one day. Having a pet in her mind will be a first test of starting a family together, making their relationship perhaps more serious since being a parent still was a daunting idea to her sometimes. Obviously that never happened, and it’s why she’s more reluctant about getting a dog for Sophia since she’s already a single parent herself and she can’t possible jungle working, being a mother and take care of a dog too. But not only that, it also brings back bitter memory of how things all ended for the two of them.

For each “⭐️” I get, I’ll write a headcanon about our muses.

🌺 ( porter )

🌺 - there are so few people she genuinely just likes. not just likes when she’s in a good mood, or she’s feeling the more amicable kind of drunk. he’s one of the very very few who she likes at any degree of sobriety and in any mood.

🌺 - her two favorite qualities in basically anyone ever are properly appreciating a silence and being able to hold their liquor so porter is a+ nailing it.

🌺 - there’s no bond like the bond between assholes.

🌺 - she has no idea what a familial bond is actually SUPPOSED to be like, but this feels close? porter feels like a support system she’s never had (and v aggressively insisted she never needed), but she treasures it so much. 

🌺 - he’s one of like, three people who semi-regularly hear her laugh.

🌺 - she has 110 percent cheated during their pool matches and she can’t figure out whether or not he’s onto her and letting her get away with it, or if he has no idea and just maybe thinks she plays an honest game. either way she finds it endearing. (that, and she likes winning any way she’s gotta.)
