The girl in front of her was the owner of The Wolfâs Den. Sonya made sure to remember important names and business owners from around town. She could be an interesting target, but a lot of people would notice if their favorite bar wasnât opening at itâs regular time. She tapped her fingers against her thigh as the girl spoke. She couldnât help but let out a sharp laugh when she said how long she worked on her costume. âAre you some sort of off brand Top Gun character?â Sonya reached out for the flash and took a swig of the alcohol. âThank you very much. Exactly what I need to get through these festivities. Personally, I think they could be showing scarier movies, but here we are.â Sonya took another sip before handing the flask back to Elody. âItâs all very boring. Wanna get out of here?â
Fixing her fingers into the shape of a gun and offering the other a wink accompanied by the click of her tongue. âYou got it.â Though she hadnât been able to actually think of the movie herself â sheâd barely watched it all the way through â she was glad to at least have a half idea of what to call her makeshift getup. âYou and me both.â She muttered, green eyes flittering toward the crowd. As the flask returned to her hand, Elodyâs gaze returned to the other woman. She studied her for a moment, considering. Bringing the metal container to her lips, she gave one last look to the screen before raising her shoulders in a shrug and capping the flask. âReal shame to let the costume go to waste,â she hummed, making no attempt to actually sound sincere. âBut fuck it. Where to, Doc?â She really should get the other womanâs name â but at the moment, a shared disdain for this night was more than enough.Â
