when your blog reached its “peak” (when you got more followers, had popular posts, etc.): Without question, my blog’s little moment of glory was this off-handed post, which, after being reblogged by Powell’s, has over time reached an absurd amount of notes.  I really don’t get it.

what made you decide to get a tumblr: Wishing that I could be like the cool kids

whether you get asks on a daily basis: More like...yearly.  “It’s as dull as tombs around here.”

why you chose your url: I thought it was clever and fairly original and brings to mind Impressionist art...also I once wrote a poem called “Moonlight at Noon,” which could have been more succinctly titled “Noonlight.”  And someone (who doesn’t even blog) is sitting on that url, of course.

(I answered the questions, and I’m going to post mine later. Haven’t got much time right now, sorry.)

1. Are you into art at all? If so, have you any favorit e pieces or artists?

I'm not sure what do you mean by "art": is it paintings or, like, everything from music to architecture? Anyway, the answer is yes xD I don't know if I can name my favourites. The most important thing in painting for me is how the colours are working together, the next thing is composition, but out of the work with colours I get really huge kicks. And there's people whose works I enjoy anytime anywhere because they're my kind of crazy, - Vrubel, for example.

2. Do you have, or would you like to have (if you don’t) a driver’s license? If yes, what type of vehicle would you drive?

I'd like that very much. I would learn to drive everything if I could, because I'm a total vagrant bird, travelling whenever I can. I'd get a pilot license too.

3. Is there any place or landmark you’d like to go see in particular?

Every time  think about how many things I haven't seen yet, I start hyperventilating. Now I just can't decide. I've read too much and I've seen very little. I've seen Baikal once and definitely want to see it again, though.

4. How do you feel about getting a job? And if you already have one, could you share your experience of it so far?

The most decent job I've tried is teaching, but I'm not really a teacher material. Children are great, they are interesting, but I can't be really good for every one of them, I'm not psychologically stable enough.

5. Would you like to learn any new languages? Which ones, if yes?

EVERY. ONE. OF. THEM. I can make sense in English, and I sort of know German and Italian. I can read Latin and Old Slavonic (Russian is the native). So I guess I should take some non-european language. LIKE HEBREW OR JAPANESE OR WHATNOT. Languages are very stimulating, and I like learning.

6. Do you like your current haircut? Would you ever change it, and if yes, how exactly would you change it?

My current haircut is fabulous, very glam-rock style. This thing that my hair does, sticking out every wich way, it even makes sense now. I am content, but who knows what idea will crawl into my head the next week? Maybe it will be something like "I sould get a haircut of your average German male homosexual out of 1920-s".

7. Do you drink coffee? Do you like it?

Huge fan. Know lots and lots of recepies. Drink entirely too much of it.

8. Have you ever found yourself in a state of addiction to anything? Did you manage to deal with it properly, if so?

There was a time. Physically it's gone - I get a habit quickly but I also can quit quickly, thanks to my jack rabbit metabolism. Phychologically it's still there somewhere.  

9. Do you have a wish to become famous for real? If yes, in what field would you like to be famous in and what would you do to achieve your fame?

Part of me wants to - maybe not to be famous, but for my achievments to be recognized somehow, because now they are not. I'm just going to keep working, and we'll see what happens.

10. In general, how do you feel about children?

Love them.)

1) Name 5 things you like about yourself.

My dry sense of humour which goes unappreciated sometimes... xD My hair, because even though it always looks messy... it’s a planned mess. My loyality and fairness and...hm... I stay true to myself, I don’t try to fake myself to appeal to others

2) Describe your best friend (or a close friend) in 5 words.

short and bouncy (you can’t list the one without the other), enthusiastic, full of ideas, artsy and sensitive

3) What do you believe in? What gives you hope, or makes you happy?

In a religious kind of way? Nothing. Things that make me happy are my friends and also the things I’m interested in.

4) What is your least favorite food, something you strongly dislike? Why?

I think eggs are a rather popular answer, but I’ll go with fish and anything fish-related, I just can’t the smell and the texture of their meat... ew

5) Do you keep up with politics? Why/Why not?

I try, I really do, but sometimes I just get so fed up with their bullshit, #i lirrally can’t even. 6) If you had to describe yourself with one photograph, what would it show?

Me, pushing other people into the pool and then laughing at them...? wtf 7) What is your favorite book? Why?

I... honestly don’t know. I’ve read some really brilliant books and I can’t pick a favourite.... 8) What is one thing you wish people knew about you (before they judge you, or perceive it wrongly)?
