Yo, fucken absolute same, we on them same wavelngths. Please do draw Mal & Va with the X on their hand, like fuck, it's so damn cool...until like the fourth book lmao.  You also really need to fill in the spaces of Gurjin's existence & his bond with Naia in the book. Guess that's why it's best to see the show first then read the books.

And yeah I agree with that. I think I liked the book more than I would have if I didn’t see the series first. I’m so glad Gurjin (and his relationship with Naia to an extent) was fleshed out in AOR.

thanks for the Monkey King content, now I am waiting on the edge of my seat for news about the cartoon they said would come out this year ;; o ;; Wouldn't blame them if the pandemic hella stalled the release date

Hi there! Glad you’re enjoying the Monkey King content :D It’s my passion to dig out new content haha. 

Rest assured that I’ve been checking up on that cartoon every now and then! Unfortunately nothing new except the same info. we had back in 2018/19. It’s most likely that the pandemic affected the release date since even other mainstream animated films got pushed back. But I’m holding out hope that it’s still a work in progress!
