Avenging has come to an end.

I’m gonna keep this short and bittersweet. We had a good two weeks run before the roleplay turned cliquey and exclusive. A selected group of people took over the roleplay and any new or members who were outside their cliques were left out or even shunned, therefore, the roleplay turned into a not so fun place. I’d like to say I’m sad to see this end and although I really am because some of you really did not deserve this, I’m mostly glad it’s finally over and we can put it to rest because it’s not a group I was proud to be associated with.

   okay, so !!  admin sav here one more time.  real life has gotten too busy for me, and i really need to focus on finding a decent job/getting into grad school/serious writing projects a little more, so i’m going to be leaving you all in the very capable hands of admins archie, nick, and cait.  much love to you all, and i can still be found on my charas or skype if you need me.  i just didn’t want to ghost all you lovely members!

I'm sort of confused as to how a confessions blog would work; would it be in-character confessions or out-of-character? OOC confessions may hurt some roleplayers' feelings if a bit negative...

    from what i understand, it would be primarily in character feelings.  it wouldn’t be talking about the muns or their writing styles or anything.  it’s all about how you/your character feels about a character, not their writer.  however, i will talk to the people who want to do the confessions blog, and we’ll work out a way for you to opt out of having confessions sent in about your characters.

                 “LOVE IS FOR SOULS, NOT BODIES.”

as (hopefully) most of you know, june is pride month !! it’s a time for members of the LGBTQ+ community to feel safe, loved, appreciated, and proud.  so what better way to end the month, celebrate our characters, and finish up a great first week of avengingrp than a pride event?

so we’ll be having our first event from 12pm EST June 30 - 12:00pm EST July 1.

while the event in real time takes place over a day and a half, the event in terms of RP time will last for about 24 hours.  we just want to make sure that everyone has a chance to participate, regardless of timezone.

Wait, what’s happening ??

for the first half of the event, there will be a good ol’ fashioned pride parade going on.  it’s a fun little day time event where everyone can don their colors, interact with each other, and have some kid friendly fun.  

the second half is a little more wild.  superhumans have coopted xavier’s mansion for the evening, and after the sun goes down, the music starts!  this is a very low key event.  we want you guys to have fun, and we want a way to honor pride month in our rp.  so there’s no big requirements from you; no major plotting that needs to be done.  

just have fun, kiss some cute people (if that’s your thing), and celebrate yourselves !!

My character’s straight !! Can I still participate ??

hell yeah, you can.  just like sometimes rps do a christmas event or a halloween event, your character doesn’t have to personally celebrate that holiday to have some fun.  your character (and you!) is welcome to come, have fun, and support their friends & family.  allies are welcome, definitely.

Say, do I get anything out of this ??

other than a good time?  actually, if you send your character and their sexuality/identity to the main, admin sav will make you a cute little pride icon to use for the event/however long you want, really.  it’s a small thing, but just another little way to say thank you to you talented individuals who make this rp so much fun.

What tag can I track to grab the starters for this event ??
