Avengers prompt: Sometimes Natasha is a cat

I'm gonna need a story where Natasha is sometimes a cat, only the other Avengers don't realise it because they think she has a cat. It's really only seen around the tower after Natasha returns from a solo mission, and then it's pretty affectionate, cuddling up with people on the couch, neatly claiming a chair at the breakfast table and politely indicating it wouldn't mind if you shared some bacon, etc. 

Until one day they hear Thor speaking to the cat as it rides on his shoulder, asking it about her mission, saying he he is glad to hear it went well. And.. what, Natasha told Thor about her mission? She's still holed up and hasn't talked to any of them yet. And Thor looks from the cat to the rest of the Avengers and goes... "But.. Natasha.. you don't know?" because he thought everybody knew and just indulged her.

Summary: PROMPT: Steve thinks that he should have died all those years ago, so he gets reckless: going off to fight the bad guys on his own without back-up. Eventually, Steve gets really injured due to his dare-devil antics and the team turns to Tony to reason with Steve. Subsequently, Tony gives Steve the best pep talk of his entire life, if by pep talk you mean blow job. And then, casually, as Tony leaves, he turns and goes, "Cut this 'I wanna die' bullshit. It's not a good look for you." AND STEVE DOES.

Comments: Bumbling about on avengerkink some more today and tumbled onto this beautiful drabble like thing. It's adorable and Tony's voice is spot on (as the author says in her responses, all you really need to do is ramble, and I agree). Also more of a PWP type thing, but it doesn't matter, because it's great. :D

Avengers prompt: Clint ships Natasha / Rhodey

Rhodey has started to drop by the tower more often, and Clint has seen the way he looks at Natasha. He knows she likes him too, but that she thinks she's far too messed up for somebody as stable and well... normal, as Rhodey. She's too worried he'd see the full extend of her fuckedupness if she spent more time with him, even though she really enjoys his company. But Clint ships it, and luckily Clint is not above a little subtle meddling

(Rhodey is like.. close enough to the team and the whole superheroeing thing to have security clearance and understanding, but far enough to not carry around a ton of baggage of his own. Plus I think he'd really appreciate her for her skills. I can also see how somebody so relatively normal - who probably has a family he visits at Christmas and so on - might completely spook Natasha :-)

Avengers prompt/plotbunny: Steve sledding on his shield, happy post-battle team

(I don't know WHAT it is with all these Avengers plotbunnies that keep assailing me, but I'm not in the space to write them, so somebody please adopt!)

The Avengers have had a battle in someplace cold and snowy. They have to walk down a long slope to get back to the quinjet where Coulson (or better yet, Fury) is waiting for them. They're all in that exhausted, sleep deprived and giddy-relieved headspace post-battle where all sorts of silly things seem like great ideas and everything is hilarious. So Steve goes "Wait a minute, why am I walking?" and sits down on his shield and sleds it down the hill. And the others are all like 'WAITAMINUTE why don't we have shields? Damn it, we want shields!' and look through rubble of whatever they've just blown up and find something to ride down the hill, even Tony and Thor who could just fly down. And Hulk, who thinks this is a GREAT game, runs back up the hill to go AGAIN! I'd enjoy seeing Fury's reaction. Maybe he's too exhausted himself to hold up usual levels of Fury, as it were, and is just sort of of indulgently amused by his team of superheroes and how well they're working together.

Avengers prompt/plotbunny: Five People Heimdall Enjoys Watching (And The Time He Got To Meet One Of Them)

Heimdall takes an interest in the new people in Thor's life, and begins watching them a little more closely. Not in a voyeuristic way but just because they matter to Thor and they're interesting. And since he can see through time, he can see the events that have made them who they are. He comes to enjoy watching them, appreciate who they are, maybe feel some vague affection. Then there's a reason he gets to meet one of them. Maybe they go along to Asgard? Maybe he sees that something is about to go badly wrong for one of them (One of Natasha's missions?) and he interferes somehow? I'm not really looking for a pairing here (I have a hard time seeing it, but if you can sell me on it, go ahead) but I would like a conversation, and after the initial weirdness of this guy sees everything I do holy fuck mutual respect and maybe something of a friendship. Maybe the human side then occasionally puts down signs/plays music they want him to hear/go do interesting stuff so he can see? Maybe he has a way to respond occasionally? I would like Natasha, Fury and Darcy be among the people he takes an interest in

Another Avengers prompt/bunny: Natasha's shenanigans & crazy antics

Most fic portrays Natasha as serious, perhaps tolerant or even indulgent of pranks and Weird Shit the others may get up to, but not exactly a participant and definitely not an instigator. Then I read Scifigrl47's Phil Coulson Wasn't Grown in a Lab (He Has a Mom) and there's a line.. ...a Norse God and a Russian Assassin had co-opted his ironing board and used it to surf on a mad scientist's vain attempt to get out of doing his fair share of the chores. (where the latter are a fleet of AI roombas) And now I'm just... really craving some fic about Natasha being the person you'd least expect it of, but who instigates some crazy shit. Stuff that makes Tony / Steve / Bruce exchange 'I don't even know' looks and shrug at Coulson when he asks for explanations. This is after all the woman of "Yeah, it'll be fun!" fame. And there's no need to uphold her 'I am serious and deadly' image among her friends. Extra double plus awesome points if, like above, she involves Thor, because I'm a sucker for Natasha & Thor friendship

Another Avengers prompt! Thor takes care of the team

I love competent, wise Thor who is thousands of years old and a God, for God's sake. So maybe the team has had a really bad day in an alien kind of way. They've dealt with something extreme, but something that's familiar to Thor (maybe Bilgesnipe?) They get back to the tower and they're all dazed and unsettled and a little hurt. Maybe somebody is hurt enough to have to have been left in medical and the rest is worried and restless. Thor takes charge. He cooks (I love a Thor who cooks. Big, epic meals, or maybe it's comfort food now, but he's used to good food and can cook it, poptarts are just novel) and he gets the others to sit at the kitchen bar to either do little tasks or just be there, close to the rest and where he can keep an eye on them. And just.. Thor carrying the team for a little while, taking care of them and being strong for them because while he is happy to follow Steve's lead and be part, not leader of the Avengers... he is a God and a prince and sometimes it shows in all the best ways.
