Hi sine, I have a question about early comics Tony when he plugs himself into the wall. Does he have different plugs for his chestplate? Europe has different wall sockets and he would need an adapter if he had an american plug end.
I would assume he does have either different cords or a plug adapter but I don't recall canon saying so.
Everything I can think of where we see him plugging himself into the wall well enough to see what the sockets are is an (ungrounded) US-style socket. In Tales of Suspense #40, where he still has the original silver armor, we see that both ends (like, including the end that plugs into him) are ungrounded US sockets.
It's like an extension cord, I guess.
When we see a more advanced version of the suit, as in the more familiar classic armor in the charging sequence in Iron Man #50, it's still going into the exact same style of socket:
This doesn't show the other end; I don't know offhand if anything does.
But, yeah, I have to say that I can't think of any time that differing electrical standards are mentioned when Tony is charging his armor. I imagine it's not really something Marvel cared about the details of.
