[shan yu was a slick motherfuckin villain. loved his design. loved his voice. loved his mannerisms and approach to conflict. of all the disney movies i’ve seen in my life, this dude stands out to me as a villain, though i could not tell you why -- he’s not as bombastic, charismatic, or even fun as more noteworthy disney villains of my chilhood. still, i’d love to have a shot at him, if i ever felt like dabbling the fandom.]

She wasn’t gonna say anything. West had made it perfectly clear that she was a strong independent woman and that she was not going to slow down because of her pregnancy... That didn’t stop War from being worried though. The woman was trying to reach something that was up to high, so she started climbing up onto the counter top to reach it. The very small strip of counter top...right above the very hard tile floor. The Alpha couldn’t stand to watch it anymore. “How about I get that for you?”

He’s never cared much for hospitals, and while one would be hard pressed to call the 141’s medical bay a hospital, Yuri’s still less than thrilled to be here. The wound in his abdomen is not complicated, it’s messy but not complicated, and Yuri could have dealt with it himself - would have dealt with it himself - had John and Alexei not joined together to tell him otherwise.

At least the place is empty. There’s no soldiers sending him dirty glances; glaring his way as if he’s personally responsible for the war they’re in. People are smart and subtle enough that they don’t do anything too obvious in front of the Captain, but Yuri’s not an idiot. He knows, and the idea of having one of them touching him; to all but ask them to hurt him … Yuri trusts these people as far as he can throw them, which all things considered is not far.

John and Lexie are idiots.

He could’ve dealt with this himself.

I’m pretty sure if Julia had to designate a Bond Girl, she would pick her shipmate April ( @aprilmillerphd ) as her partner. Beautiful, brilliant April that Julia can protect from those who seek to use her prodigious intellect for evil, in the same vein as several more scientifically minded Bond girls of years past…

Plus, smooching after Julia succeeds in her mission.

As for Gaz… please consider the scene of Ursula Andress rising out of the water in the bikini. Except it’s Gaz. And Julia wakes up from her nap to this and just stares into the camera as if asking if this shit is real.

When Yuri was a teenager he lost the first two joints of his right ring- and little-finger to frostbites. He was skipping school with his siblings, but had forgotten his gloves, and the unforgiving Yakutsk-winter was quick to punish him. 

Since then he’s gotten quite a bit more.

Spetsnaz training was rough, and left many marks of various width and length across his chest and back; he has a flat-out ugly burn on his left arm from a crude tattoo removal involving a mix of acid and fire. More recently he’s gotten a scar on his abdomen after being shot point-blank by Makarov.
