The long wait is up! A few years ago I sent my little Ave Paradisus creature to the UK to be part of a mail art adventure. It all started here. This and two others similar to it were the first ideas I had for what was to become the Society of Curious Creatures. This is from 2013. It took a few more years before I would come up with a name that would encompass this idea I had about flowers and animals fused together and the world they would live in. The name Society of Curious Creatures came into being after many pages of names and combinations were written down.
