My process!

I tend to use the same formula for most of my illustrations. The first step is to draw something out on paper in ink with a Pentel pocket brush pen. Then I scan it into my laptop and open it up in GIMP (pretty much a simple, free version of Photoshop). The image then gets cranked up in contrast, all white removed to reveal a transparent background, and then I go about coloring. Fun stuff! 👍
