Hey. I want to apologize to you in advancement. I don't know if the post has gotten up yet or not, but I feel incredibly guilty about it.
On my Tumblr, I reblogged that censorship post you responded to and in my tags I called out an individual who had a post with "purity culture kills fandom" reblogged. That was you.
I was not aware when I made the post that you had actually addressed it yourself and were regretful of it. I am sorry for any trouble I end up bringing you for mentioning it. (Though I do agree with your statements about the digital footprint. Stuff you say on the internet is there forever, even if it's stuff you don't agree with. And unfortunately people can dig that up and use it against you, even if it's not a reflection of who you are anymore.)
Irony's a powerful force indeed, and I'm grateful that you had noticed my change in opinion. I gratefully accept your apology. Any trouble caused by the post being stirred up by others isn't your fault at the end of the day, it's impossible to control others.
The internet is a blessing, but also a curse. Its tides ebb and flow, preserving each word, regardless of whether they speak truth to the present or the past.
I hope you have a good future in your stead, my fellow tumblr user.
