Death Note as creatures from mythology

Nobody asked for this I just wanted to do it

Light - Skin Walker, a type of witch in Navajo culture. You've probably heard all about skin walkers on tiktok and stuff. I made him a skin walker because they use the bodies of other creatures like animals or people in order to deceive their victims. Similar to him because he kind of wears this mask and at the same time uses others like Misa, Takada, Mikami as indirect victims in order to get his direct victims, the criminals. There are three parties in his little schemes and I find that really interesting and comparable to a skin walker.

L - Banshee, an Irish spirit (usually female but whatever) that foresees the death of someone and alerts it by screaming. In this comparison L knows Light is Kira and he vocalizes it, it's a bit of a stretch because L wasn't saying that Light was going to die but by Light being Kira, obviously that would happen, plus he was there when Light died as a ghost. I also made him a banshee because they're kind of like graceful and even though they're associated with death, they're not evil, nor are they good, they're just kind of there kinda like him. Also I think he'd look pretty as a banshee

Mello - Minotaur, a Greek monster that had the head of a bull and the body of a man. They're characterized by their anger, which is caused by hunger (hangry), and I think this is pretty self explanatory for Mello. They're also not very passive or loving at all toward their parents, which is kind of represented in the pre-timeskip scene with Mello, Near and Roger. The Minotaur was in the center of the Labyrinth built by Daedalus and was sent children as sacrifices, but I'm not sure what that might have to do with Mello so if any of you figure something out lmk

Mikami - I'm not going to give him a creature but actually I'll make him a victim of the Yara-ma-yha-who, an Australian frog-like creature that dwells in trees. The Yara-ma-yha-who will eat anyone who chooses to sleep under their tree, but then they'll spit the person back out and give it time to run away. The human will be deformed, they'll be completely red and shorter than they were before, and if they get eaten enough, they'll become a Yara-ma-yha-who. Mikami is a victim of it because he let himself get caught up in Kira's business and ended up having the same gruesome fate as him. Poor mikami

Misa - Gorgon, a Greek monster that is half woman, half snake, and have the power to turn people to stone by looking at them. This is similar to Misa having the shinigami eyes. That's really the only similarity I found, there's probably a better creature for Misa I'll figure itout
