Introduction
Hello! Welcome to this cozy corner of drafts I have written. I am no professional writer, just doing something I enjoy in my free time. I am open to suggestions for new content, but for now, I will be posting some snippets of short stories I have stored away. Some simple rules I have for this blog include: 1. No hate speech. 2. Judgement-free zone. 3. Copying, selling, republishing, or distributing any text, images, or videos without written permission is prohibited. 4. Healthy criticism is welcome and encouraged. Thank you for being here! Let the ink games begin. -Vire
I have a muse for Rory!
OutofCoffee: I may have my muse back, but nobody seems to be active. The only posts I have seen are from meme blogs and I really want to rp. I know all of you aren’t active anymore, but if you see this, please start something with me.
OutofCoffee: I am going to be checking this blog many times a day. If you want to rp or just talk, I’ll be one message away.
OutofCoffee: @average--writer I want to have an rp. I miss you and just want it to be like old times.
OutofCoffee: Is there anyone out there to rp with?
Second Chances|| Jess & Rory
“You can tell him something happened, if you want..” The words echoed in his mind as he sat in a cafe. He had been coming here, avoiding her. Rory was now in Philadelphia. As much as he didn’t want to help her find a place, he promised he would. And here they were for the 2nd day in a row looking. In truth, there was an apartment close to him, but he was nervous having her so close again. He imagined late night talks when he couldn’t sleep. He was trying to avoid thinking about it too much.Jess took out his phone and scrolled to her name.
Jess: Hey Rory there is a place by me if you want to take a look?
It was right across from his flat. They would be neighbors in a close proximity. Rory had remained unreachable to Jess for years now. There were walls she just wouldn’t allow him to break through again. Jess ran his hand over his stubble thoughtfully for a moment. What would an actual date be like with her? He was having an internal argument with himself. He probably looked a little bit disturbed.
Rory had started to think she would live out of hotels forever. She had been looking at some apartments by herself, seeing that Jess hadn’t met her today. The apartment she was currently in was worse than the one she had in college. There were a few leaks in the apartment, a hole in the wall and the door looked like it was about to fall off of the hinges. Could her search be any worse? She heard her phone go off and searched in her purse before checking the message.
Rory: Okay, I’ll check it out, Do you have an address for me?
Wow, okay, this wasn’t going to be good, she knew it. Living by Jess was risky, but how close could it actually be? She kept her phone in her hand, hoping she would be able to find a good place before the week was up. Rory was already tired of the hotel, but that’s what happens when you travel all the time.
Rory looked around the cafe as she read, looking for just one man in particular. She glanced at the door every so often hoping he would be the next to enter, granted she showed up fifteen minutes early. Rory had called before she even came to Philadelphia so she wouldn’t be dropping in unannounced. She drank her coffee, continuing her book for another paragraph before starting her routine all over.
She got through seven pages and three coffees before she saw Jess come into the coffee shop, surprisingly on time. “Hey, you’re looking good. How have you been?” Rory smiled.
