Some Rael & Nim fan-art! Tried to give em a cartoonish look but clearly fucked up :D

I have a bunch of fanfic written in screenplay format about Rael and Nim, I instantly fell in love with the character. Figured I’d share a scene here :D

Context for the scene, Nim just came back from a sparring session from a Dooku who was grumpier than usual (and just came back from studying a Sith holocron).

Part 1/2 of a short fan-script where Nim and Rael go to Naboo with master Kirak Infil’a on a diplomatic mission, which quickly turns to them trying to stop a terrorist from bombing Theed Palace with King Veruna inside.

The bomber gets away, but Nim runs after the hooded man who hired him. A hooded man who’s more than he seems...

The inspiration for this was a podcast where a bunch of what-if lightsaber duel YouTubers all agree that Sidious masters the Forms at their most basic level, but not as well as any actual duelist (like Dooku, or Mace)... but that he doesn’t need to: his true power in combat comes from his unnatural speed and power in the Force, more than his skills with a lightsaber.

Also, I wanted to imagine Rael in action :3 Added a buncha easter eggs in the dialogue, hopefully some are noticed :)

Didn’t see anybody else making some Rael Averross art, so figured I’d give it a shot :)

He’s mentioned to be a good duelist in Master & Apprentice and in Dooku: Jedi Lost, we see him holding up against Dooku for a bit even though he’s still really young at the time, so figured giving him a curved saber too would be an interesting nod to Dooku, and Rael’s own ability as a swordsman.

Facially, I tried to make him look like Benjamin Bratt, based on @claudiagray 's mental casting.
