Saints' Avery Young returns to practice, remains on NFI list
The New Orleans Saints designated rookie offensive lineman Avery Young as returned to practice, according to Tuesday's NFL Transactions report.
The 6-6, 309-pound Young, however, remains on reserve/non-football injury list with an undisclosed injury.
Young, a three-year starter at Auburn, joined the Saints as an undrafted rookie free agent in May before landing on the NFI list at the start of training camp.
He appeared in 37 games with 36 starts while at Auburn and showed versatility by playing tackle and guard.
