"Do you want me to lay down with you?"
"I'd rather like that, actually," the Master admitted, lips curling in a faint smile. He held his hand out to the Doctor. "It's been entirely too long."

"Do you want me to lay down with you?"
"I'd rather like that, actually," the Master admitted, lips curling in a faint smile. He held his hand out to the Doctor. "It's been entirely too long."
"Master!" The Doctor called out to the other Time Lord as he exited his TARDIS into the other's. He didn't know how long he'd been gone from his lovers, but the things he'd learned since had to be shared. Especially because of what it could all mean. "Master, Master where are you?"
It had been some time since he'd heard the Doctor's voice, and he found himself smiling in spite of his best efforts to be cross. Running a hand through his hair, he padded out to meet his lover, his nonchalant expression betrayed by the grin that kept threatening. "about bloody time you came back. There's no need to shout. You'll wake the baby."
((I'll probably be fairly quiet for the next little bit while I'm reworking my blogs. I'm converting both Master blogs back to being singleverse. That does not, of course, mean I won't still play with you all! Anyone I already thread with, we can totally just continue as is. Everyone else, if you really want to, I might be able to manage an AU. Otherwise everyone here is in the same verse as the Master's Doctor and anyone interacting with my other Master will be in the same verse as Cam and the Doctor. ))
AVERYDIFFERENTDOCTOR SAID: THE DOCTOR CHUCKLES, HAVING PRODUCED THE EXACT REACTION HE WAS LOOKING FOR, FROM THE MOAN TO THE MURMUR OF HIS NAME. “HELLO, MASTER.” HE WHISPERS AGAINST THE BACK OF THE OTHER’S NECK WITH A GRIN.
"Hello yourself," he murmurs, teeth working over his bottom lip. He tips his head forward, obviously enjoying the attention. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
averydifferentdoctor replied to your post: The Doctor raised his brow as he found Jack curled up and asleep on the launch chair, the Doctor's old leather jacket he used to wear when Jack first met him clutched in the Immortal's arms. A nostalgic smile passed over his lips, brushing a hand through Jack's hair as he went about to do work on the console like he had planned on before finding his slumbering friend. He tried to be as quiet as he could, even though he made a few sparks fly and cursed under his breath, hoping not to wake Jack.
"Ah, Jack!" The Doctor said with a grin, peaking out from underneath the console. "Sorry, didn’t mean to wake you, just had a bit of adjustments to make. You know, if I remember right, you were pretty handy helping me with this sort of thing…"
Grinning a bit, Jack unfolded himself from the chair and stretched. He was still reluctant to let go of the jacket, holding it tightly in one hand. "It's all right... I've got eternity to catch up on sleep," he quipped, stepping around to where the Doctor stood. "So... is that your way of asking me to give you a hand?"

It was a silly thought, after all this time there was no way the jacket still actually smelled like the Doctor he’d first met. But, just holding it and feeling the familiar leather in his hands had been enough for Jack. Once he had it, he couldn’t bring himself to put it away again, his memory in overdrive so that it didn’t even matter if the smell had gone from the jacket, he could remember it perfectly and it was comforting.
Shifting slightly at the hand in his hair, Jack hugged the jacket tighter to his chest. The sparking and the shuddering of the TARDIS woke him and the captain felt his face heat up a bit. “Uh… morning…”
They all needed a break, he was fairly certain. So much had changed as of late, and as much as he loved the TARDIS, she felt just a bit too stifling as of late. Some part of him thought to drag them to a place so familiar he no longer even looked before punching in the coordinates, only no... That place was his and Cam's alone. It was the one thing he didn't intend to share with anyone else. A picnic though, was exactly the sort of thing that seemed like it would suit everyone. Cam had suggested them more than once, and the Doctor always seemed to like the outdoors. Besides, how much trouble could a small child get into on a blanket in the grass?
He was so used to Soleine in the TARDIS, it never struck him just how much stuff she required until he was trying to take her somewhere. Diapers and formula and blankets and toys... the list just kept going, and suddenly he was glad no one had been asking him to go places more often. This would be good though, exactly the sort of thing they needed together.
