out of everyone on warehouse 13 i do think artie is the one who is most likely to be a pigeon.
inspired by the previous anon what adjectives would you use to describe emma and scotts personalities?
Sorry for the delay in answering this, I just thought way too hard about it. 😄 Thanks for the question!
Emma
cunning/manipulative
self-reliant/uncooperative
poised/rude
protective/pessimistic
I’ve given her traits in pairs, one more positive and one more negative, because I think they really are linked. She’s cunning and incredibly good at getting what she wants, but that often involves her being manipulative. She’s totally self-reliant and going to do what she thinks is best even if others disagree, but this can make her hard to work with. She’s unflappable and always poised, but the way she maintains the appearance of being in control is through cutting remarks, and she doesn’t remember to turn that off when she’s in situations where it might be okay to not be in control all the time. And she’s deeply protective of what she cares about, but for her that means she’s constantly trying to protect against the worst-case scenario.
Scott
tactical
honorable
anxious
tenacious
uncool in a deeply charming way
I think a lot of Scott’s characterization can be explained by the tension between honorable and tactical. He needs to be an honorable person but he also needs to do what is strategically necessary. Both of these, for me, are driven by his anxiety. His anxiety says he needs to live up to his code, but his anxiety also says that he needs to protect his team and all mutants and make the best strategic decision. He’s also incredibly tenacious, he does not let things go, and that can be a good or a bad thing. Finally, he’s an awkward dork but in the most delightful and loveable way.
AU where bruce never came back to no mans land so helena never had to quit being the bat (definitely not another variation on batman for dummies what do you mean they sound similar,,,)
Okay, so I initially misread this ask and started thinking about an AU of Batman for Dummies where Bruce dies and I am just now rereading this and realizing that that is not in fact what you were proposing. So, uh, hope you like this as well?
During Claim Jumping, Two Face does not set out to distract Batman, he sets out to kill him. And he succeeds. He also succeeds in taking territory from the Bat.
I can't decide whether Helena does succeed in killing Two Face in this version of events. If she does, it is because Tim is distracted by the fact that Bruce is dead and is not able to stop her. (I think that even if he knew that Two Face had killed Bruce, he would still try and stop her.) It is something that hangs over their relationship going forward. If she does not, I think that Tim discovers after the confrontation that Bruce his dead. His decision haunts him. He wonders if he would've acted differently if he knew.
Either way, Bruce is dead and there is no more time for the rocky relationship between Helena and Barbara. They convene together at the clocktower. They call in Dick from outside and make overtures to Gordon to patch that alliance back up.
Dick does not want to be Batman. That does not mean that the mantle does not hang over him like a shadow. No one says anything. Helena continues to wear the symbol (she is beginning to suffocate in it). They are all thinking it though.
Anyway, I haven't managed to bridge the gap yet, but in my head, this is also an AU where No Man's Land lasts longer even though I can't think of any reason for it to. After a while, they have to kick Tim out of No Man's Land to go do a PR circuit and beg on tv for people to do something and he makes Helena promise that she'll still be there when he gets back because NML has been hard on all of them.
Hi :D could you draw avery ho from dc comics?

What changes did brotherhood make to roy and rizas relationship?
What does the manga add to Roy and Riza's relationship that the anime doesn't have? Asking out of curiosity since I'm an anime only and they
this is a good post for a couple of different things they changed (not everything) but to summarize: Brotherhood made Roy cooler and more noble and more just, they made Riza a little more invested in Roy from the get-go (which might sound initially good but it bugs tf out of me)
it's all little changes but they add up in a way that annoys me
what are the names of all the dc rpg guide books you have?
That I have is an important clarifier, because there were probably/definitely more that I couldn't find or couldn't get my hands on.
