Effie brushed the blonde girl’s hair back. She was useless at braids and such, but she did give a good head massage. It was nice to be in the company of Katherine, someone who didn’t really have a higher agenda or an ulterior motive. They grew up in the same year together, and both struggled with school, Effie more so, but it was nice. These little moments were nice. “I don’t know. I don’t think about marriage a lot. Rodolphus took a very deep breath and stopped himself from rolling his eyes. He was beginning to lose his patience with this girl who was lucky to be Augustus’ sister. If she wasn’t he had deal with her in a very different way, still she aways seemed to have some issue, he should talk to her brother about this. “I suppose i can. Kingsley hated paper work. That was an understatement. He abhorred being stuck behind a desk. But, like he said to everyone else, those reports don’t write themselves. He twirled his quill, watching as the clock ticked closer to closer to twelve o’clock. As soon as the second hand landed, he leaped from his desk. “Lunch!” He announced, nearly running out of the office before anyone needed to speak with him. It wasn’t unusual. He just wished he was back in the field, especially with these new incidents rolling in like a tidal wave. He dodged between desks, making his way out to the aurors’ atrium, yeah they had their own little make-shift reception area. Glancing at the distance, he nearly doubled over in shock. Was that? No. Kitty Kat. He smirked, almost wanting to rush to her and pick her up in a hug, but refrained. He knew what was allowed and what wasn’t, now that they were both out of the protectiveness of Hogwarts. “Katherine Avery.” He smiled as he slowly walked towards her.
