Eridan == > Disbud the bull
Finding Tavros' location isn't hard. Accessing the civil registry, a sprawling public record index of every subject under Her Imperious Condescension, both dead, alive, or in a state of flux, was a mere difference of a few swipes across a plastasteel panel. At first, his crew had balked at Eridan's ridiculous proposal; the Empire spanned an entire galaxy, and its citizens had been displaced across its many territories. Travel between provinces could take months, and for the more remote areas, up to a year, especially from the capital, which was separated by 50 million AU from the rest of the empire, despite being a tiny planet-moon. It was one thing to embark on a last-minute campaign at the behest of the Empress or one of her right hands, another to waste precious resources on Legate Ampora's capricious appetites. But his request was anything but unexpected. His predilections were well-known to those in his company. With the addition of enticements to sweeten the deal, one of the mini vessels was deployed for Tavros Nitram's block 200,000 AU away. Set to arrive in exactly 3.5 hours.
Eridan was repulsed (though one could argue that was his default) as the ship alighted onto the forest floor, the propulsion of its engine sending detritus flying in all directions. The craft released a cloud of pressurized gas from its side door and Eridan stepped out onto the duff, stomping leaves beneath his heavy boots. He relished the feeling of the draco in its holster, its weight against his thigh while he walked. He felt good.
He knocked loudly and forcefully on a door made of pine, which shook from his mighty fist. Tavros' little cottage looked like it could hardly withstand a gale.
