TAGGING: Avery Berry-Fabray and Taylor Harper-Lopez
LOCATION: Various locations.
TIME FRAME: January 27th
NOTES: Taylor's jealousy gets the best out of her and she and Avery argue, which turns out for the best.
Tyler's hand went to her cheek and she looked at the move with wide eyes. He pulled a strand of her hair behind her ear and smiled fully at Avery. "You had something on your hair", "Thank you Ty, but I really have to go... you know I don't like keep people waiting for me", "Trust me, I know. I'll see you soon". Ave smiled and gave him a kiss on his cheek.
Taylor: Taylor had just finished picking up some books she needed from her locker and was walking to the exit when she caught a glimpse of it by the corner of her eye. Avery was by her locker, which wouldn't have been so weird if it wasn't because half her figure was shielded by someone taller than her, a guy. And not just any guy, but Tyler. Her ex. Taylor frowned and, even if her mind was telling her to keep walking and forget about it, she was already turning to watch them from a corner. At first no one could've thought anything about it, but when his hand raised to the blonde's cheek, the brunette's eyes widened. It became even worse when Avery kissed his cheek, and after that, Taylor couldn't stand it anymore. She turned her back to them and stormed out of the school, too furious to look back. How did she dare? How could Avery lie to her face like that?
Avery: Avery laughed at one of the guy's jokes and shaked her head, "You're incorrigible", she pushed him by his shoulder but Tyler didn't move. "Go Ave, whoever is waiting for you will be mad if you don't show at time", she nodded and said goodbye, closing her locker and going outside to her car. Taylor was waiting for her and just for the conversation they had before, she felt like she really needed to see her and showed her how much she cared for her. But once she arrived, Taylor wasn't there, she tried to text her but didn't get an answer. The blonde waited a few more minutes but the brunette wasn't going to show up so she got inside her car and decided to drive to her house for some sort of explanation.
Taylor: Taylor had driven straight home after leaving the school. She was too mad at Avery for lying to her to answer to her texts, let alone meet her at the café. She just wanted to lock herself in her room and listen to music all day, and that's what she did. From what she'd seen in the hallway, that Tyler guy and Avery seemed so much closer than friends were. Maybe Avery wasn't even interested in him that way, but she'd let him make advances, and that alone was enough lying for Taylor to be okay with it.
Avery: When Avery arrived at her house, she breathed deeply and left her bag at the back of the car, she grabbed the keys and went straight to the door, she knew for sure Taylor was there, she got her lights at her room on but she didn't hear any sound coming from the living room so maybe the girl was alone. The blonde finally knocked twice and just in case rang the bell too.
Taylor: Taylor had her headphones on, so she didn't hear the knocks on her door. It wasn't until Ozzy came into the room to play with her that she took them off and heard the bell ring. She frowned and patted the dog's head as she stood up and walked downstairs to open the door. Her eyes widened when she saw Avery at the other side, and was about to close the door in her face, but thought better of it and gave her a serious look, "What do you want?"
Avery: Avery huffed and played with her hair while she waited, she wasn't going to go without talking to Taylor first. She let out a deep breath when she opened the door but frowned at her attitude, "I thought we were meeting at Simon's", the blonde went inside the house without saying anything and looked at her, "What's going on?"
Taylor: Taylor frowned when Avery just made her way into her house without asking, but she was too mad to try and calm down. "Something came up", she lied, crossing her arms in front of her, and raised her eyebrow, "You mind? I'm busy."
Avery: "I don't like being stood up" Avery said crossing her arms and looking at her with wide eyes at her answer, "Are you seriously telling me to leave?" the blonde shaked her head and was about to leave disappointed at her girlfriend but instead, she just stood there in front of her, "What is wrong with you?"
Taylor: Taylor stood there, unimpressed by Avery's attitude, and at her question, she frowned. "Why does it matter to you? Why don't you just go and have coffee with your 'friend' Tyler?", she questioned.
Avery: Avery's mouth fell open at that statement and tried to say something but instead, she began laughing, "Really, Tay? Really?" she tried to stop laughing to explain herself, "Why are you jealous now, and not before, when we talked and I told you everything?"
Taylor: Taylor gave Avery a glare she could have only gotten from her mother Santana when the blonde laughed, and continued with her arms crossed, only getting angrier. "Because you lied to me! I saw you", she answered, as if it was so obvious.
Avery: Avery quickly shutted up when she saw that glare and crossed her arms again, "So what?" Taylor was running out her patience and she breathed deeply. "Just tell me what's going on..." she murmured and shaked her head, "Because I don't get it, Tay"
Taylor: Taylor was going to lose her patience soon. She couldn't believe it. After all that had happened between them because of jealousy, Avery was just going to keep pretending nothing was up. "I don't know, you tell me", she frowned, looking into blue eyes defiantly, "What's going on between you and Tyler?"
Avery: Avery ran her hands through her blonde hair and walked around for a bit trying to figure out what was going on and why was Taylor that upset with her. "What's between..? Are you nuts?" she said and looked at her with hurt in her eyes when she realized what she was saying, "Are you saying I'm cheating on you?"
Taylor: Taylor could see she was hurting Avery with her words, but she was far too into her suspicions now that she needed the truth. "That's not what I said", she answered nonchanantly, walking further into the living room, "Why, are you?", she turned her head to the blonde again, staring straight into her eyes.
Avery: Avery turned around to face her when Taylor asked her that question, "Asking me that, you're practically saying it" she said tensing her jaw to not lose her nerves. "I'm not cheating on you!" she said raising her tone and shutted up quickly. "Can you please tell me what the fuck did you see that make you feel like this?"
Taylor: Taylor gripped the back of the couch tightly, facing Avery again. "I saw what I had to see!", she raised her voice as well, but her tone broke as she continued, "I saw you and him in the hallway".
Avery: Avery frowned at that and flicked her tongue getting what she was saying, "Are you serious right now?" she raised an eyebrow waiting for an answer but when nothing came out for the other girl's mouth, she huffed and bit her lip getting angrier. "I thought you trusted me" she whispered, "I'm an affective person, I like to kiss and hug my friends to show them how much I love them, and I had something on my hair, that's what you saw Tay. You saw Tyler taking something off my hair, nothing else!"
Taylor: Taylor swallowed roughly, her resolution faltering for a second. She knew it was a dangerous zone, and something told her that discussion could end badly, but it wasn't her talking, it was jealousy. "I trusted you", she nodded and raised her eyebrow, "But seeing how quick you are to deny it makes me think otherwise."
Avery: Avery gasped at that and could sense the tears at her eyes, for god's sake she was almost crying of anger. So before she could do anything, she spoke "I can't get jealous when you're with Jesse, but you can when I'm with Tyler, right? Unbelievable" and with that, she passed right next to her bumping her shoulder against hers decided to leave the house.
Taylor: Taylor chuckled bitterly at Avery's words: The situation was so ridiculous that she couldn't believe they were having that argument. "I was never with Jesse in the first place! But if your ex is still in your life I damn well have a right to be jealous about it!", she claimed, raising her voice as she followed the blonde to the hall.
Avery: Avery was almost running to reach the door that she didn't even realize Taylor was following her and talking to her, she quickly turned around to face her and she didn't even matter the close distance they were. "You don't have to be jealous because you are the one Taylor! The only person I want to be with is you!"
Taylor: Driven by the situation, Taylor had stepped closer to Avery as she followed her to the door, with only a few inches separating their bodies. She was expecting the blonde to leave or to turn around and snap at her, but she wasn't expecting those words. And maybe it was the close distance or the surprise of hearing Avery say that she just wanted her, but the mood did a complete turn in an instant. Instead of answering, she found herself reaching out to grab Avery's face as she lunged to kiss her, leaving no room for more arguing.
Avery: Avery was breathing heavily staring at her blue eyes with a little bit of anger in them, she was so mad at her girlfriend for believed that she was cheating on her with her ex-boyfriend, who was a really good friend and couldn't be nothing else, because she already had Taylor. The blonde shaked her head again when she got nothing for an answer and almost turned around but Tay's lips on hers, kissing her deeply out of nowhere. She tried really hard to not kiss her back but she couldn't, it was Taylor after all so she just put her arms around her waist, keeping her close.
Taylor: The argument was over as soon as their lips met, and Taylor was very aware of that. All that mattered now was Avery's lips and the delicious way their bodies felt together. She dragged her nails down the blonde's scalp until she could cup the back of her neck and with her body pushed hers into the door behind her, never breaking the kiss.
Avery: A moan escaped from her lips when her back hit the door behind her, her hands searching for some sort of skin running through her back and never breaking the kiss until the lack of air was too hard to resist. "Tay..." she whispered against her lips and with her eyes still closed. "What the hell?" she finally said when she knew what was happening.
Taylor: Taylor moaned as well before pulling back from the kiss, not without nipping at the blonde's lip in the process. She was angry, but that anger left her body in the shape of a passion she couldn't control, a need to show Avery she was hers and only hers. She breathed over the blonde's lips and let her hands travel down her sides to her lower back, and squeezed her butt, "You're mine."
Avery: Avery looked at the other girl's blue eyes and realized how dark they were, which made her feel a little bit aroused. She watched with attention were her hands were going, and held back a moan when she squeezed her butt. "God, Tay". She whispered and tried to pull away from her, she needed an explanation because she didn't get anything.
Taylor: Taylor ignored Avery's tries to pull away, needing to be closer, so much closer to her than she was now. Her head fell to the blonde's shoulder and she buried her face in the crook of her neck, breathing in her scent. "You're mine and I was jealous, yeah", she squeezed her ass again, "I get jealous thinking of the ways he touched you, how he made you feel", she whispered, her lips grazing Avery's throat.
Avery: Avery didn't know how much time she could resist Taylor, her lips were at her throat, kissing every inch of skin there and the blonde melted into the touch, she moaned at her words and that was what made her forget the reason why she was mad. "No one made me feel like you, Tay..."
Taylor: Taylor all but groped at every inch of Avery's body she could reach, as her mouth traveled down her throat. Avery's words were the right thing for the blonde to say in that moment, because they made the brunette groan and suck on the blonde's neck.
Avery: Avery moaned loudly at that and her hands found her t-shirt, "Oh my god, baby..." she whispered and moved her head to a side, giving her more access. "I just... fuck".
Taylor: Taylor hadn't known until then, but she absolutely loved being in charge. She loved feeling Avery squirm under her touch, and maybe it was because she was tired of going slow, or because she craved her touch to the point her mind was blurred by the situation, but it gave her a rush of confidence when she spoke next, "If that's what you want, I will".
Avery: Avery was dying slowly and she knew it, she breathed deeply and grabbed the girl by her both cheeks, gazing her eyes and bit her lip when she saw the dark in there. "Think about this..." the blonde whispered and kissed her lips softly, "Because trust me, I want you to fuck me".
Taylor: That was it. It only took those words from Avery for Taylor to grip the front of her t-shirt to pull her further into the house and into the living room. She pressed her against the wall and captured her lips in a heated kiss, moaning into it.
Avery: Avery kissed her sliding her tongue inside her mouth, kissing her like she haven't done before. Her hands touching her skin under her shirt, tracing her nails along her abdomen. "Bedroom?"
Taylor: Taylor's eyes rolled to the back of her head, and she was eager to respond to the kiss with the same energy, letting their tongues play in a delicious way. She barely nodded and hummed affirmatively at the blonde's question, and pulled her out of the living room and upstairs. Luckily, they made it upstairs without one of them tripping over the steps, and by the time they made it into the bedroom, both their t-shirts were already lost.
Avery: Avery moaned into the kiss and followed her upstairs, taking off her shirt in the way and with her hands already on her sides, running her fingers up and down her skin. God she missed the feeling of her skin on her fingertips. She pulled away and unbottoned her jeans quickly, she was so desperate for her touch and she needed to feel it now.
Taylor: Taylor watched Avery unbutton her jeans with hungry eyes, her mouth watering at the sight of her girlfriend's naked abdomen. Without wasting more time, she pushed her into the door and hooked her fingers into the waistband of her jeans, pulling them down enough to slide her hand inside, cupping her over the panties.
Avery: Avery pulled her jeans down but got no time to do anything else because Taylor's hand was already on her center, over her panties. "Fuck", she moaned and almost fell down, putting her arm around her waist to stay still.
Taylor: Taylor wrapped her arm around Avery's waist to hold her up as she pulled her hand away, only to slide it into her panties. She pushed the blonde's legs apart and moaned at the feeling of slickness under her fingers.
Avery: Avery moaned loud at the girl's touch and what it did to her. She wrapped her leg around her waist and kept her closer, "What are you waiting for?" she whispered and kissed her lips.
Taylor: Taylor nipped at Avery's lip fiercely as her fingers traveled upwards, and soon she had started circling her clit teasingly, her other hand gripping her waist tightly, her nails digging into her flesh. "For you to tell me why I shouldn't stop", she replied in a whisper.
Avery: Avery moaned at the feeling and kissed her lips fiercely, watching how her girlfriend teased her. "I hate you so much right now" she whispered and rested her head on the door, breathing deeply and feeling the heat between her legs beggining to grow. "You... god" she couldn't keep talking, "You shouldn't stop because I only want you to touch me like this, Tay..."
Taylor: "No you don't", Taylor whispered back with a teasing tone, smirking as she leaned in and sucked on the blonde's neck at the new expanse of exposed skin. She bit down on her skin and then soothed it with her tongue, as she continued teasing Avery with her fingers. One of them trailed down to her entrance, and after making sure the blonde was ready, pushed inside.
Avery: "Yes, I do. I /fucking/ hate you right now" Avery closed her eyes and breathed deeply, digging her nails into her shoulders when she finally stopped teasing and entered inside of her with one finger. She murmured meaningless things and wrapped her leg around her waist while her hand ended up at the door knob.
Taylor: Taylor should be affected by those words, but all she got from them was how /sexy/ her girlfriend's curses sounded. She groaned against her skin and kissed down her collarbone, biting and licking at every inch of skin she could, reach, as she waited for Avery to adjust. Once she did, she never gave her the opportunity to relax before she pulled out and thrust two fingers in again, and began pumping at a slow pace.
Avery: Avery didn't really hate the girl, she could never do that to her she was just /so/ angry at her for get mad without any reason, she could accept the jealousy but not the crazy mood she was, but god... if Taylor was going to do that everytime they discussed, she'd do it any moment. "Babe..." she whispered when she pulled back but what she felt was even better. The blonde let out a loud moan and bit her lip hard, moving her hips at the same rhythm to feel the connection she needed to feel.
Taylor: Taylor was almost sure she could get off at hearing the noises Avery made under her touch. She wanted to make her moan and scream, and that's why she quickened the pace, helping the push of her fingers by pressing her thigh between Avery's legs.
Avery: Avery didn't know why it kept getting hotter and hotter every second of it. Maybe it was the situation or maybe because it was Taylor after all, but the moans escaping from her lips were something she couldn't control. "Oh my god" she whispered and buried her face in the crook of her neck. "I-I'm close"
Taylor: Taylor took the blonde's words as a challenge, and thrust her fingers in faster and deeper, as deep as she could reach, curling them when they were all the way inside. She was determined to make the blonde cum and hard, even if her arm was starting to hurt. She ignored it and focused on the feeling of Avery's warm walls around her fingers, and how smooth her skin was. "Kiss me", she demanded, lifting her head to brush her lips to Avery's in a sloppy kiss, wet and with teeth bumping.
Avery: Avery bit hard on the other girl's neck once she felt how the pace got quickened up and got lose in all the sensations on her body. Her hands didn't know what to do or grab, her legs began to tremble and her head lifted up to gaze her eyes. She couldn't help but moan even louder when she heard her words and kissed her with all she was holding inside. Her back arched into her body and she began to moan loudly and shake without a warning. "Taylor!" Ave screamed her name once she hit the climax, feeling her body still shivering and her breath stucked on her throat, trying to stay calm hugging her girlfriend with both arms around her neck.
Taylor: Taylor could feel Avery's walls clench around her fingers, and she kept pushing over the limit, helping her ride her orgasm despite her arm felt like it was on fire. She herself felt like she was on fire after what they'd just done, and when Avery moaned her name, Taylor's head dropped to her shoulder as she panted. She was exhausted, but she kept pushing and pushing, slowing her pace to a stop. Finally, she pulled out of the blonde and held her close with one arm as she lifted her hands so she could lick her fingers clean, her eyes on the blonde's the entire time.
Avery: Avery was on fire. She really was. She kept breathing heavily but licked her lips at the thought of what they finally had done. Her heartbeat was racing and her mind told her to do or even say something, but what she saw left her speechless, Taylor cleaning her fingers made her knees go weak again. She never broke the gaze between her eyes and once she finished, her lips found hers, kissing her hard and deep, moaning at her taste on her girl's lips and tongue.
Taylor: Taylor didn't know where that had come from, but she guessed she'd done the right thing as she saw Avery's eyes darken before the girl was pulling her into a deep breathtaking kiss. She kissed back just as hard, moaning on her lips, and only pulled back when the lack of air couldn't be ignored anymore. "Wow", she breathed out and met the blonde's eyes again, her arms wrapping around the girl's waist. She bit her lip guiltily, their conversation from before coming back to mind, "I'm sorry for my stupid jealousy..."
Avery: Avery was so turned on by Taylor's actions and she couldn't help but moan into that kiss, grabbing the other girl's cheeks with both of her hands and deepened it just when the lack of air was really necessary. She pulled away and kept her eyes closed until her girl spoke, her arms wrapped around her neck while she was trying to think and once she realised why they were like that, the reality hit her and she glared at her. "You went too far away, Tay".
Taylor: Taylor swallowed roughly, guilt hitting her like a wave now that they had calmed down. Under Avery's glare, she felt like the worst person in the planet for what she'd done. "Yeah, you're right", she answered softly and nodded. Sighing deeply, she stepped away from the girl and walked over to the bed to sit on the edge. "I don't know what came over me...", her voice was barely a whisper and her face was between her hands.
Avery: Avery stopped being angry at her the moment she saw her sitting on the edge of her bed with her face buried in her hands. "Hey, come on" she said but it wasn't effective so she just took completely off her jeans and stood in front of her, kneeling to grab her hands and to see that perfect face she always wanted to see. "It's called jealousy, without a reason but... I'd be lying if I say I didn't enjoy it" the blonde tried to joke and did everything to be able to look in her eyes.
Taylor: Taylor let Avery grab her hands, but didn't lift her eyes from her lap until her girlfriend spoke. She gazed into blue eyes and tilted her head, giving her a hint of a smile. "I'm sorry, though", she insisted and squeezed Avery's hands. She took a deep breath and shook her head, "I just... I was so mad when I saw the way he acted with you..."
Avery: Avery kissed her when the girl began rambling and bit her lower lip when she pulled away. "I'm yours...", the blonde whispered against her lips with a glimpse in her eyes, "I was when he was my boyfriend, I am now... more than ever" Ave connected their lips one more time and interlaced her fingers together.
Taylor: "I'm so-", Taylor's words were cut off by Avery's kiss, which she didn't want to pull back from, and reluctantly did when she heard the other girl's words. She opened her eyes to gaze into her girlfriend's, growing speechless as she spoke. Three words were threatening to spill from her mouth, but it was too soon, so she just kissed Avery back with everything inside her, pulling her up and motioning her to sit on her lap.
Avery: Her blue eyes said everything she couldn't say out loud because it was too son and her lips and hands showed it too, the way it should be. Taylor's lips on hers made her forget why she was there in the first minute and she quickly sat on her lap without breaking the kiss. With both hands on her cheeks to deepen the kiss she felt her heartbeat going faster, accepting the fact that she was falling hard for Taylor.
Friday Night sweet ride || Aveylor
TAGGING: Avery Berry-Fabray and Taylor Harper-Lopez
LOCATION: Various locations
TIME FRAME: January 17th
NOTES: Taylor takes Avery to a concert, then out to grab ice cream.
When their last performance finished, Avery screamed and clapped like everyone. "Oh my god, it was amazing", she smiled and hugged Taylor, "Thank you, thank you, thank you".
Taylor: Her plans of surprising Avery that night with tickets to see one of her favorite bands went perfectly. Thanks to one of Taylor's friends who worked on the sound at the concert, she got them tickets to see Lady Antebellum fairly close to the stage, and even though she wasn't very fond of them, the brunette enjoyed just watching Avery sing and dance along to the songs. All she had wanted was to make her happy, and her mission was accomplished. At least, that's what her girlfriend showed her at her reaction after the band had left the stage.
Taylor chuckled at Avery's behavior and wrapped her arm around her in a side hug as people clapped. "I'm glad you had fun!", she told her with a smile and kissed the side of her head, then clapped some more until people started leaving the venue.
Avery: Avery hugged her tightly and kissed her cheek repeteadly before pulling back and clapped some more. "You really are amazing" she said to Taylor and gave her a quick kiss on the lips before leaving the venue. The blonde put an arm around the other girl's shoulders and got closer to her, "I'm a little bit in shock..." she laughed and ran a hand through her hair.
Taylor: Taylor leaned into Avery's side as they left the stadium, having to stay close as so people were walking outside at the same time. She chuckled softly at her comment and looked up at her lovingly, "Wow, I must definitely call this date a success", she smirked and once they were out on the street, she looked around them. "Do you have a curfew?"
Avery: Avery chuckled at her words and nodded once they got out of there, watching at the people around them and feeling warm in her girlfriend's arms. "Yes, it was a success", she smiled and kissed her forehead. "No, I mean, I don't have an exact hour to be home but not to late I guess" the blonde shrugged and looked at her, "Why? Do you still want to impress them?"
Taylor: Taylor grinned cheekily and sighed in relief at her girlfriend not having to go home yet. "I do want to impress them, I'm not exactly in your mother's good books right now", she commented with a raised eyebrow as they got to her car, and she walked around it to open Avery's door for her. "But maybe we can make a stop first? I'm sorta hungry."
Avery: "You good manners impressed her, believe me. She was surprised" Avery laughed and got inside the car after smiling at her girlfriend for openning the door to her. She waited for the girl to come in and looked at her, "Yeah, I'm hungry too, maybe we can stop somewhere near to eat something".
Taylor: Taylor got into the driver's side and smiled at Avery's suggestion. "That sounds like heaven", she chuckled as she buckled up her seatbelt and waited for the blonde to do the same to start the engine, "I actually know about someplace near here, and I'm sure it's still open".
Avery: Avery laughed and buckled up her seatbelt waiting for Taylor to begin driving. "Then, what are you waiting for?" she winked at her and then laughed, moving her head at the music's rhythm and sang a little, "birds flying high, you know how I feel..." she looked at Taylor and gave her a playful smile, "Where are you taking me?"
Taylor: Taylor pulled off the parking lot and started heading to the place she had thought of. She had the feeling Avery would like it. She glanced sideways at her when she started singing and raised her eyebrow with a playful smile, "I love your voice", she confessed. At her question, she smirked, and turned to her after stopping at a red light, "I thought we could go get ice cream".
Avery: Avery looked at her still smiling and chuckled blushing slightly, "I love yours", the blonde said and the fact that she wanted to hear her girlfriend's voice again made her feel nervous and amazing at the same time, "I want to hear you again, by the way. Can't live without hearing that voice", she half-joked and nodded at her words, "You're lucky I'm hungry /and/ that I can still keep these abs in shape".
Taylor: Taylor rolled her eyes at Avery's usual try at getting her to sing again. "Maybe if you're good to me, you'll get to hear me sing again", she raised her eyebrow and smiled at the blonde before turning to the road to continue driving. She laughed softly at her next words and nodded. "You're about to try the best ice cream ever, seriously. Besides, I can help you burn those calories afterwards", she grinned cheekily.
Avery: "Am I not good enough to you?" Avery faked a sad smile and pouted a little, "Ok then..." she kept that face until Taylor's laugh appeared, and she couldn't help but smile at that too, but when the blonde analyzed her words she blushed deeply, keeping a straight face and looked at the road, "I don't think I can resist that lady..." she smirked and played with her fingers.
Taylor: Taylor resented her words as she saw Avery pout from the corner of her eye and reached out to take her hand over the console, then brought it to her lips. "You are the best", she assured her and smiled. She continued laughing when the blonde blushed and smirked, "I know you can't." She continued to hold Avery's hand the rest of the drive, which wasn't long, and once they arrived to the diner she pulled up on the parking lot.
Avery: Avery squeezed her hand and shaked her head, "I was joking, I know I'm the best" she bit her tongue and smiled at her before laughing. "I know that too", the blonde brushed her hand with her fingers and looked at her, "Where did you take me, woman?" she joked again and gave a quick kiss on her cheek.
Taylor: Taylor continued holding Avery's hand and leaned in to peck her lips, then stopped the engine. "Told you, here they have the best ice cream in the city", she grinned and pointed to the diner, "My family and I used to come here to celebrate after Travis won his football matches."
Avery: Avery kissed her softly and smiled after, "You're amazing" she whispered and removed the seatbelt getting out of the car, "Are you coming or not?" the blonde laughed and waited outside putting her coat on.
Taylor: Taylor grinned, happy that Avery liked her idea, and got out of the car as well, she locked it and walked over to the blonde. "Hopefully, later", she said and laughed, taking her girlfriend's hand and leading her to the diner.
Avery: Avery smiled at her and interlaced their fingers together while they walked to the diner, "I don't like the word 'Hopefully'" she said shrugging and entered the diner, "What ice cream do you usually get?" she looked at her and smiled leaning in to kiss her cheek.
Taylor: Taylor frowned slightly at Avery's statement and squeezed her hand. "Why not?", she asked curiously and led them both to a booth, sort of recluded into the restaurant. She slid in and pulled Avery to sit next to her, then grabbed the menu. "Uhm... A chocolate chip cookie ice cream. The mint chocolate one is good, too", she told the blonde with a smile.
Avery: Avery looked at her eyes when she spoke, "Because when someone says hopefully, it seems like it's not going to happen, that it's too far away from the actions and well... I just, don't rely on hope, I guess" she smiled and sat next to her, getting closer and putting an arm around her shoulders, "The cookie's one seems nice, so nice actually".
Taylor: Taylor squinted her eyes with a smile at Avery's explanation and afterwards, she sighed and leaned in to brush their lips together. "You're too wise", she chuckled and pecked her lips, then whispered on them, "I do rely on hope sometimes, tho". She leaned comfortably into Avery's side and let out a content sigh, putting the menu down. A waitress came over and smiled at them both, "What can I get for you, sweeties?" Taylor smiled at the woman and then at Avery, "Two chocolate chip cookie special ice creams, please", she asked, and the waitress nodded and walked away.
Avery: Avery let out a happy sigh and pecked her lips again, "Maybe I am" she winked at her and gave her another kiss, "Do you believe in things such as... faith and destiny?" She wanted to start a conversation before the woman came in and she smiled at her, "Thank you" she said to her politely and then looked at Taylor again.
Taylor: Taylor waited for the waitress to leave before turning to Avery, willing to answer. "I think I do, yeah. I believe you choose your own fate, by the choices you make in life. A bad or a good decision can change everything", she shrugged and took the blonde's hand in hers, playing with her fingers, "And I believe in hope. Without it... I don't think I'd be here right now, with you."
Avery: Avery was surprised when her girlfriend began talking about fate and left a kiss on her forehead, feeling how her words warmed her heart, oh my god was she...? No, it couldn't be, they were dating for almost 2 weeks and she already knew her eyes showed everything, and with Taylor's last words, it clicked and she took a step forward, "I think I'm falling for you, miss Harper-Lopez", the blonde said without thinking.
Taylor: Taylor's nervousness washed away at Avery's kiss on her forehead, but even then, she wasn't expecting the words she said next. Her eyes went wide and she stared at the blonde for a long moment. She could have never expected her to say that, not after just two weeks since they started dating. It was too soon, wasn't it? But then again, she'd be lying if she said she didn't feel the same. She just wasn't ready to say it out loud. So, instead of saying anything, the brunette leaned in and kissed her girlfriend softly.
Avery: Avery regretted saying those things the time that she realized what she was doing, did she really...? Probably she scared the hell outta Taylor and in a few minutes she would be at home and without a girlfriend but then she felt those eyes looking at her, with so much meaning on them that she already could feel her heart beating fast. And even though, she never had an answer her but her eyes and /that/ kiss told her everything, so the blonde responded automatically.
Taylor: Taylor poured all she felt and couldn't say in that kiss, cupping Avery's cheek with her hand and stroking her cheek as she deepened it. She didn't realize how long they'd been kissing until someone cleared her throat, and she pulled back with heated cheeks to see the waitress standing next to their table with their ice creams in her hands. "Two chocolate chip cookie specials, here they are", she smiled nervously and put them down on the table before walking away. Taylor glanced at Avery and chuckled.
Avery: Avery kept kissing her deeply, with one hand on her nape feeling her closer, at least until she heard someone clearing her throat
Avery: Avery kept kissing her deeply, with one hand on her nape feeling her closer, at least until she heard someone clearing her throat and blushed deeply looking at the waitres, "thank you..." she whispered and smiled politely back at her, "oh my god, that was embarrassing". Ave took a look and grabbed the ice cream.
Taylor: Taylor laughed at Avery's expression and shook her head, grabbing her ice cream. "Let's forget that happened by tasting this awesome ice cream, shall we?", she smiled and took a bite of hers, having to bite back a moan at the taste.
Avery: Avery took a bite of her ice cream and looked at Taylor with wide open eyes and escaping a moan from her lips, "This is so good" she said and chuckled a little, snuggling into Taylor.
Taylor: Taylor's eyebrows shot up at Avery's moan and she smiled cheekily, "I told you", she answered and took another bite of her own ice cream. Her arm wrapped around the blonde's shoulders and she kissed the side of her head.
Avery: Avery smiled and gave her another kiss on the lips, leaving some of the ice cream on them, "Oopsie" she laughed and took it away with her thumb, taking her time and looked at her gorgeous blue eyes, "Hi there, tiny" she chuckled.
Taylor: Taylor raised her eyebrow as she watched the blonde wipe the ice cream away with her thumb, but before she could pull away, she took it between her lips to lick the liquid. She pulled back with a smirk and took a bite of ice cream, "Hi".
Avery: Avery's breath got stucked on her throat when Taylor took her thumb between her lips and licked the ice cream, "Don't do that..." she whispered and chuckled.
Taylor: Taylor raised a defying eyebrow at Avery and smirked. "Do what...?", she knew exactly what she was doing to her girlfriend, and she was completely okay with playing that game.
Avery: Avery raised her eyebrow too looking at her because she definitely knew what game her girlfriend was playing, so she shaked her head and took a bite of her ice cream trying to ignore what Taylor was doing to her. "Nothing" the blonde smiled at her and took another bite still looking at her with lust in her eyes. "So?"
Taylor: Taylor smiled to herself when Avery just carried on with eating her ice cream, and did the same herself. They ate in comfortable silence for a few minutes until the blonde spoke up, and Taylor looked at her. "So... are you doing something tomorrow?", she asked casually.
Avery: Avery smiled and shaked her head, "No, nothing too important, I guess my mom would like to know what we did today and she'll get mad because I don't want her to know about us.. I mean," she corrected herself, "it's our relationship and we have to keep some things to ourselves. Yeah, that's what I was trying to say" she laughed and continued eating her ice cream, "Are /you/ doing something tomorrow?"
Taylor: Taylor started frowning as Avery spoke, not quite understanding what the girl meant. Relief washed over her as she explained herself, an the brunette smiled softly at her. "Yeah, I understand. It's okay. It's our relationship and I want to keep some things to ourselves, too", she said calmly and played with the ends of the blonde's hair as she thought, "Hmm... Yeah. I'm helping my mother at her studio. I was actually wondering if you would like to come."
Avery: Avery let out a sigh in relief when she saw the other girl's smile and nodded, "I'm glad to hear that" she smiled too and kissed her cheek. She watched how her girlfriend played with her hair while she spoke and when she analyzed her words, a grin appeared on her face and looked at her, "Your... your mom will be there, I mean... does she still hate me?"
Taylor: Taylor scrunched her nose up at the kiss on her cheek, smiling, and kissed the blonde back. At her question, she gave her a reassuring look and shook her head, "She doesn't hate you, neither of them do. And my mother Dani will be there almost all day, yeah, but my other mom won't", she shrugged and bit her lip, "I just thought it'd be fun. She lets me help her when there's no much stuff to do around, and... I could show you how everything works and maybe even record some stuff."
Avery: Avery looked at her with sad puppy eyes, which disappeared when the girl began speaking and clearing things up, "One day, I'll talk to your scary mom, I mean... I'm sure mine and yours had a conversation a few days ago but... I need to impress her and let her see I'm good for her daughter", she smiled and finished eating her ice cream, "I would love to by the way, it sounds amazing".
Taylor: Taylor smiled adoringly as she heard Avery speak, finishing her ice cream as she did. "Aren't you a gentleman", she chuckled, "It won't be long until she gives you the talk, I'm sure", she grimaced at the thought of it. She'd seen her mother give the talk to her brother's girlfriends in the past, and she feared what she would say to Avery. When the girl agreed to spending the next day with her, her face lit up, "Awesome! I can pick you up in the morning and take you there, and then we can have lunch together."
Avery: "I'm a gentlewoman" Avery joked and laughed crossing her legs, looking at her with fear in her eyes when she heard her next words, "I don't like that look on your face right now, should I be scared?" the blonde played with her fingers and chuckled at the girl's enthusiasm, "That sounds amazing, baby"
Taylor: "So you are", Taylor agreed and chuckled softly, reaching out to tuck some strands of hair behind Avery's ear. She bit her lip and shook her head, "No, not scared. I promise", she assured her. She played with the blonde's fingers for a long moment until she finally spoke up, "Should we get going?"
Avery: Avery leaned into the touch and smiled softly at the girl, "Protective mom.... god help me" she laughed and gazed her blue eyes while Taylor played with her fingers, didn't want to stop the beautiful moment they were sharing but her girlfriend was right and they had to go home, "Yeah, I guess so..."
Taylor: Taylor furrowed her brow and shook her head. "Hey, don't worry... She'll like you. She already does", she nodded at her and smiled adoringly at her girlfriend's pouty expression. She gestured the waitress to come over, and before she arrived, she whispered into her ear, "Let's go somewhere where no one can give us weird looks, huh?", she kissed her cheek and asked for the bill when the waitress walked over to their table.
Avery: Avery looked at her the entire time the waitress was there because her words got stuck in her head, "Let me pay for this? Please?" she said and grabbed her face with both hands and left her a soft kiss on the lips, "Pretty please?"
Taylor: Taylor rolled her eyes and was about to say no, but gazed into Avery's eyes when the blonde made her look straight at her face, and she couldn't. "Okay", she said with a dramatic sigh and pecked her lips again just before the waitress came back with the bill, and she crossed her arms.
Avery: Avery smiled brightly when she got what she wanted, "Yay!" the blonde paid when the waitres came back with the bill, "Keep the change" she said politely and and got up putting on her coat, "Don't look at me like that! You've already done so much for me tonight, lady".
Taylor: Taylor had to bite her lip to fight off the smile that was threatening to appear on her face the entire time, and shook her head as she got up as well. She scoffed as she put on her coat, "I didn't even have to pay for the tickets!", she defended herself, but took Avery's hand in hers as she guided her out of the diner, "But you were really sweet, thank you".
Avery: Avery laughed at her reaction and embraced her from behind, resting her head on her shoulder, "I don't care, you still do so much for me" she smiled and walked together out of the diner, "So, are we going home or do you want to stop somewhere else?"
Taylor: Taylor placed her hands on Avery's, which were on her stomach, and rested her head back on the blonde's shoulder. "You deserve it all, you know", she answered and turned her head to kiss her cheek. She guided them to the car and leaned against the door, raising her eyebrow at her girlfriend, "Do /you/ want to go somewhere else?"
Avery: It felt nice, you know? Having Taylor in her arms like Avery wanted for a long time it was so much better than her dreams, she kissed her head at her words and placed both of her hands on her hips and smiled, "I just wanna be with you for a little longer, so... this is the date you planned for us, it's your time to think"
Taylor: Taylor was trapped between her car and Avery's body, and she couldn't have been more content with it. "I don't need to go anywhere special to be with you", she confessed nonchanantly, but she knew her words had so much more weight.
Avery: Avery touched her cheek and left a kiss on her forehead before pecking her lips, "How sweet was that" she joked rested their foreheads together, gazing her eyes and brushing their lips, "You're... the best girlfriend ever, seriously".
Taylor: Taylor smiled shyly and shrugged, "I'm not sweet, I'm a badass", she reminded her, although she was smiling. She shook her head and whispered against the blonde's lips, "You are".
Avery: "Oh excuse me, you're badass... and cute" Avery chuckled and kissed her softly on the lips still with the smile on her face, she lost herself in the contact and got closer with both hands at her cheeks.
Taylor: Taylor huffed, pretending to be bothered by the statement. "Don't give it away, tho. I don't want to lose my street rep", she warned her with a raised eyebrow and smiled just before they kissed again. Taylor forgot about the world around them and poured herself into the kiss, grabbing the front of Avery's coat with her hands to bring her closer.
Avery: Avery laughed and kissed her repeteadly before speaking, "Don't worry, I'll keep it as a secret", and then the blonde kissed her again, but this time she tried to put all she could in that just simple kiss. "So... umm..." she whispered pulling away a few inches, "I'd to keep doing that in a... private place".
Taylor: "Good girl", Taylor laughed before letting Avery kiss her deeply. She let out a soft moan before she pulled back, and rested her forehead on the blonde's. "My mothers are home, so...", she bit her lip, her chest still heaving from the heated kiss.
Avery: Avery pecked her lips when they pulled away gasping for aire and looked at her her eyes a little bit darkened but still with a glimpse on them. "Mine are too... and my brother, but, if I ask, you can stay if you want to" she smiled and brushed softly her thumbs on her hand.
Taylor: Taylor bit her lip, tempted by the offer. "Will your scary mother want me there...?", she asked, still not so sure about it. She didn't want to say goodbye to Avery yet, but she was afraid the girl's mothers wouldn't like the idea as much, and she wanted them to like her.
Avery: Avery sighed and took a second to think about it twice, and she finally nodded, "My mum is there too, and she likes you already" the blonde smiled and grabbed her hands, "So, she'll convince my mom and they'll want to keep the door open, you know..."
Taylor: Taylor rolled her eyes. There was no point in telling the blonde no, she'd give her puppy eyes and convince her to do it anyway. So, she smiled softly and shrugged, "We don't have to do anything, your company's enough for me", she pecked the blonde's lips and pulled back, gesturing her to get in the car as she opened the door.
Avery: Avery smiled and pecked her lips, "Don't give me that look" she got in the car and waited for her. Ave loved the idea of spending the night with Taylor, even if it was just cuddling, which was her favorite thing in the entire world to do with her girlfriend. "I just want to sleep with you in my arms, is that weird?"
Taylor: Taylor got into the driver's side and buckled up before starting the engine. She turned to Avery at her words and smiled warmly at her, shaking her head. "It's not", she answered and took her hand, "I feel the same way".
Avery: Avery smiled brightly at her and kissed the palm of her hand, "Then we'll try to convince my mom about you sleeping in my bed" she laughed and pulled away to let the girl start driving. "Are your moms okay with you staying at my house?"
Taylor: "I'm not going to get my hopes up", Taylor laughed softly before turning to the front to start driving in direction to the blonde's house. "I'll text them once we get there, I'm sure it'll be fine if I tell them your moms are there."
Avery: Avery hummed softly at the song the radio was playing and nodded at the other girl's words, "That's right, be a good girl to your moms" she joked and laughed looking at her, "I'm sure it will be fine, don't worry".
Taylor: Taylor rolled her eyes and swatted Avery's arm playfully, then chuckled. "Shut up", she warned her and turned to the road again, "Yeah, me too. My mom can only keep the drama for so long."
Avery: "Okay okay" Avery laughed and rubbed her own arm up and down and shaked her head, "I thought the dramatic one was my mum, but then the blondie
Avery: "Okay okay" Avery laughed and rubbed her own arm up and down and shaked her head, "I thought the dramatic one was my mum, but then the blonde surprised me, like always" Ave chuckled and kept the smile on her face, "We'll see once we get there, how far away are we?"
Taylor: "I wasn't surprised my mom freaked out, she did it with my brother's first girlfriend, too", Taylor answered with a chuckle and reached between the seats to place her hand on Avery's lap, "We're not so far."
Avery: "Ok. Now, maybe I'm scared about how her reaction about my brother's first crush, who is you by the way" Avery laughed and took her hand, "Oh my god Tay! You're going to make a drama on my family!" she joked and opened her mouth looking at her.
Taylor: Taylor snorted out a laugh at that comment and shook her head, "Your brother does not have a crush on me!" She turned around the corner in a street and glanced at Avery afterwards, "Yep, and I'm not sorry. You're stuck with me and my drama now."
Avery: Avery laughed again and couldn't take her eyes off of her, "Yeah, he has, you'll see in a few minutes" she whispered and smiled when she saw her house. "And your stuck with me and with the drama you created", she joked and felt the urge to kiss her girlfriend so she bit her lower lip.
Taylor: Taylor rolled her eyes again and shook her head. "If you say so, Avy", she anwered and drove into the Berry-Fabray's driveway, where she stopped the car. She sighed softly and turned to face the blonde, gazing into her eyes. "I'm afraid so, yeah", she answered with a smile and leaned in to kiss her.
Avery: "I say so, Tay" Avery answered and looked at her leaning in when she stopped the car. The blonde chuckled against her lips and kissed her back with one hand on her cheek. The kiss lasted a few minutes and she pulled away resting her forehead into hers, "Are you ready?"
Taylor: Taylor melted into the kiss, deciding to make it last longer and pouring everything in it. She knew she wouldn't be able to kiss Avery like that once they walked into the house, so she was just making up for it beforhand. She took a deep breath once they pulled back and nodded her head, "Yeah, I am." The brunette smiled at her girlfriend and pecked her lips again before pulling back and getting out of the car. They both walked up to the front door and into the house, ready to meet the rest of the family.
Call || Aveylor
Taylor plops down on her bed and grabs her phone from the nightstand. She scrolls down to Avery's name and calls her, bringing her phone to her ear as she leans back against the headboard, then waits for her to answer.
Falling Slowly || Aveylor
TAGGING: Avery Berry-Fabray and Taylor Harper-Lopez
LOCATION: A musical bar and the front door of Taylor's house
TIME FRAME: January 3rd, at night
NOTES: Avery takes Taylor out on their first date.
After ten minutes or so driving around town, Taylor shifted for the twentieth time in the passenger's seat and huffed as she turned to Avery. "Can you tell me now where we're going?", she asked with a pouty expression, hoping the girl would cave in.
Avery: Everything was going better than expected for both of them. Avery was having a really great time at her very first date with Taylor, and in fact, she couldn't be happier. She never had a serious relationship with anyone, so she didn't know how to make things work. Ave thought it would be complicated, but with Taylor, things were different. She wanted to be in a real relationship with her, and she was trying hard to not let her go away. The next place they were going was a surprise for Taylor, because Ave loved it when she got upset trying to guess where they were going.
"Don't look at me like that, I'm driving", Avery laughed and smiled widely, "It's fine, I think you will like it, at least I hope so" She chuckled and in a few minutes they arrived. "Here we are".
Taylor: Taylor huffed again and crossed her arms in front of her. She believed the blonde on taking her somewhere she'd like, but at the same time she wanted to know immediately. "You're no fun, Ave.", she grumbled and sat back for the rest of the ride. Luckily it didn't take too long, and once the car was stopped, Taylor leaned forward on her seat to see where they were. "Huh...?", she frowned as she noticed she knew the place, "Why did you take me to a musical bar?", she turned to Avery expectantly.
Avery: "Thank you, Tay" Avery smiled at that and once she pulled over, she got out of the car and grabbed her guitar, which was at the trunk. "Because... tonight it isn't just a musical bar" Ave smiled and pointed over the poster that was at the entrance, "It's open mic!" She had to control herself to not clap and looked at her with gleam in her eyes. "Not only we have the chance to perform, but we'll see others doing it too so..." She offered her hand, "Do you want to come in?"
Taylor: Taylor got out of the car as well and walked around it, raising her eyebrow when she saw Avery take her guitar out of the trunk. Why was that there? She frowned as the girl explained why they were there and in the end mumbled a 'oh...' in understanding. After a second, she realized what it meant. "Wait, perform?", her eyes widened and she shook her head. "I don't... I don't sing."
Avery: Avery sighed at that and shaked her head with a serious expression on her face. "You're a Harper-Lopez and your mothers have an amazing voice, at least that's what my mom says and if she says that, I believe her. So don't tell me you don't sing 'cause I didn't either until you heard me" She said in a rush and raises her eyebrow looking at her. "Come on... you heard me, I deserve to hear you sing..." She hold both of her hands while she pouted looking directly at her eyes.
Taylor: Taylor looked down at she listened to Avery's reasoning, knowing that the girl was right. She did sing, but it wasn't one of her best talents and she didn't do it in front of people. She was better at making other people sound good. Had it been someone else, she would've said no immediately, but as soon as she looked up at Avery's eyes, she knew she had lost that battle. Finally, she sighed and rolled her eyes. "Fine", she mumbled and started heading to the bar.
Avery: Avery continued to look at her with sad puppy eyes and pouting. She knew Taylor couldn't resist that and once she got what she wanted, she jumped and followed her to the bar. "Hey, don't get mad" Ave hugged her from behing and rested her hands at her abdomen. "It'll be fun, you'll see".
Taylor: Taylor smiled once Avery couldn't see her face and gasped when she felt her arms wrap around her from behind. "Hey!", she exclaimed and chuckled as she looked at her over her shoulder, "I'm not mad, silly." She pulled back and pecked Avery's lips before taking her hand to lead her into the place. There weren't that many people, but the open mic night in that bar was definitely known. Taylor took a deep breath to calm down as she looked around for an empty table.
Avery: Avery smiled and pecked her lips one more time before heading in, still holding her hand. "Calm down, it's going to be fine" she kissed her cheek and pointed an empty table near the stage, "So, that one is empty" They went there and once they were established at their own spot, Avery put down her guitar, and looked at Taylor. "Are you okay?"
Taylor: Taylor smiled thankfully at Avery and followed her to the table she pointed at, sitting down on one of the chairs and looking up at the stage. People were still getting seats and it wouldn't start in a while, so she took a moment to relax. She turned to avery at her question and smiled at her as she reached out to take her hand. "A little nervous, but I'll be fine", she admitted.
Avery: Avery watched at awe the people that were going in, thank God they were early and there was an empty table or they'd been standing the entire time. Ave played with Taylor's fingers, smiling softly at the girl and leaned in for a brief kiss, "Don't be, you're with me after all" she smiled and bit her lip before leaning back against the chair.
Taylor: Taylor cupped the blonde's cheek as she returned the kiss and rubbed their noses together before pulling back. "That's not so relieving", she joked with a smirk and then laughed, letting Avery know she wasn't serious. "I'm kidding. I actually want to thank you for tonight", she admitted, kissing the blonde's hand, "I'm having a lot of fun with you".
Avery: Avery opened her mouth faking surprise at that comment and laughed before hearing everything Taylor had to say to her with a smile on her face. Did she really thank her for the date? "Don't thank me, stop doing that" she began playing with her fingers, "I'm doing it because I want to do this with you" Ave really hoped Taylor knew what she was referring to, "And it's going amazingly good by the way, and the night just begins".
Taylor: Taylor shrugged with a smile. "I'm thanking you and there's nothing you can do to stop me", she chuckled and bit her lip at the girl's words. She knew exactly what she meant and she agreed completely. That date was just the start, or so she hoped, and it couldn't be a better one. "I'm looking forward to the rest of it", she answered and squeezed Avery's hand, then looked around them. The bar was full, and she suspected open mic night would start soon.
Avery: Avery touched her cheek softly with her hand and pulled back later, but still looking at her gorgeous blue eyes, "Let's do something, everytime you want to say thank you, I'll kiss you and you'll be stopped" she smiled and kissed her forehead at her words. They sounded so good and she couldn't wait to see what's going to happen in their future. "It'll start at any moment..." Ave laughed.
Taylor: Taylor narrowed her eyes at Avery. "So you're saying you're going to shut me up? Nu-huh", she shook her head with a raised eyebrow, "Don't you dare." She chuckled and glanced at the stage again when a man walked onto it and began speaking into the micrphone. She held Avery's hand as the host introduced the open mic night and the first performers.
Avery: "I /am/ going to shut you up" Avery confirmed and laughed at that, looking at the stage again when the host introduced the open mic night, holding Taylor's hand like her life depended on it, she knew it was going to be a great night and also, couldn't wait to hear Tay's voice. She was so sure they were going to sound amazing. The first performer was a guy, a guy who spent the entire song looking at Taylor and she could feel something burning up at her abdomen, maybe she was jealous? That was impossible.
Taylor: Taylor looked up at the stage as the first performer started singing, mostly from politeness. He was slightly out of pitch and the way he kept looking in her direction was making the brunette uncomfortable. Luckily, she had Avery by her side the entire time, so she was relaxed. She even forgot about their own incoming performance for a while.
Avery: It was a matter of fact, Avery, was jealous. Who the hell did that guy think he was to look at her girl that way? She tried to felt comfortable but she couldn't under that guy's gaze at Taylor, and he sang so bad. 'Please, be over soon' she thought and when he did, he sighed relieved and clapped because she was good educated.
Taylor: Taylor glanced at Avery a few times during the song, frowning at the look on her face. She seemed pissed, and the brunette wondered about the reason. Once the song was over, she clapped and leaned into the blonde to whisper, "I'm up for singing if that means we can show this guy how it's done", she said with a smirk and looked into her eyes with concernment, "Are you okay?"
Avery: Avery was glad it was over and licked her lips trying not to focus too much about what just happened. She leaned into Taylor when she did too and smiled awkwardly, "Yeah, he needs to be pitch-slapped" She laughed at that and looked at her, "Yeah, of course, why wouldn't I?" She tried to smile because she was still upset at that guy and he almost knew why they called her mini-Quinn.
Taylor: Avery was smiling, but Taylor could tell that wasn't her usual smile. Something was off. "Are you sure?", she asked softly, pushing her chair closer to the blonde's and placing her hand on the girl's back. She was starting to have fun, and she wanted Avery to do so as well. As they spoke, the host welcomed another girl onstage, but Taylor's eyes were on Avery the entire time.
Avery: Taylor's gaze on her while she was that upset made her feel really uncomfortable, but at the same time not. It was a weird thing. She let out a sigh and fixed her eyes at the stage, 'Come on Avery, don't ruin this awesome night' she thought and looked at her when Taylor spoke again. "Well, no, that... stupid guy was checking on /my/ girl the entire fucking song" she groaned and played with her fingers to relax. "Sorry, the bitch side I told you once controls me", she chuckled trying to forget everything.
Taylor: Taylor gave Avery an understanding smile just before the girl started speaking, and kept her gaze on her the entire time. When she confessed the reason why she was pissed off, the brunette's eyebrows rose and her mouth fell open in the shape of an 'o'. She stared at her for a few seconds after she was finished and a smile spreaded on her face. "Your girl, huh?", she leaned in and kissed the corner of the blonde's mouth, "It's okay, beautiful. You should've told me you were jealous in the first place", she chuckled softly and started rubbing the small of her back, "But there's no reason to be. I'm all yours."
Avery: Avery was still playing with her fingers until she felt Taylor's lips kissed her at the corner of her mouth and she couldn't help but smiled at that action. Wait? My girl? Did she really said that? She felt embarrassed about the situation after saying that, she meant it, well, at least she wanted Taylor to be only hers. "I'm not jealous" she quickly said looking at her and chuckled later, "I guess I am, sorry" Her fingers ran through her head and still looking at her eyes, "Only mine?" She asked biting her lip and a little blushed.
Taylor: Taylor chuckled at the girl's deny and rolled her eyes. "Of course you are, and to be honest, I like that you're protective over me", she shrugged with a smile and brought her hand up to cup the girl's cheek, "Just don't go crazy jealous on me, yeah?", she joked. She smiled at the light blush she could see on Avery's cheeks and nodded her head firmly, leaning in to whisper close to her lips, "Only yours."
Avery: Avery shaked her head in disagreement and then laughed, "Well, I'm just too protective, it doesn't hurt I promise" she smiled and brushed her lips still blushed, "Didn't know I'd fall in love with those words before" she giggled and tapped her nose, "Only mine, Tay" She gave her a quick kiss on her lips before put her attention on the stage again.
Taylor: "Good, then", Taylor laughed along, rubbing the blonde's cheek with her thumb. She bit her lip as Avery mentioned the words 'fall in love', but tried not to put so much thought into it and just kissed her back, relaxing as she rested her head on her shoulder afterwards to glance to the stage again. The girl on it was good, and she was almost finished, so the brunette glanced back at Avery, "When will it be our turn?"
Avery: Avery kissed Taylor's head when she rested her head on her shoulder. "I really don't-" The host appeared when the girl finished and said her names, "Now, I guess" she laughed and stood up grabbing her guitar and offered her hand to Taylor. "Don't worry about the song, I've heard it in your playlist".
Taylor: Taylor smiled at the small kiss and her eyes widened when Avery stood up. "N-now?", she asked, trying not to panic, and bit her lip as she looked around them. She had expected having at least a few minutes to prepare herself, but no such luck. She took the blonde's hand as she stood up and frowned, "Which one is it, though?", she asked concernedly and breathed shakily as she let the girl lead them to the stage.
Avery: "I don't do this neither, remember?" She joked trying to relax herself and got up on the stage, looking at the amount of people in front of her and with a smile still on her face. "Falling Slowly" She just said and prepared her guitar in purpose because she wanted Taylor to relax too, and be more comfortable with the idea. "Just tell me when and I'll start..." she whispered to her.
Taylor: Taylor wasn't sure how could Avery be so calm about performing in front of all those people. Was she not afraid of their reactions? The blonde had an amazing voice, but last thing she'd been told about it was that she was nervous about singing in front of people. Taylor shook those thoughts out of her mind and nodded her head at the song, walking next to Avery onstage and standing in front of one of the microphone stands. She took a deep breath and glanced at Avery once, then looked back at the audience, who looked at them expectantly. She closed her eyes and when she opened them, she gazed into Avery's and nodded once as her signal to start.
Avery: It wasn't really her thing doing that in front of a lot of people, but the last days she spent so much time thinking about her date and what they should go, so she got to accept the idea to sing in front of the others if that meant she'd hear Taylor. She looked at her and when she nodded, her fingers began to play the beggining of the song and after a few seconds she got closer to the microphone and began to sing, "I don't know you, but I want you, all the more for that..."
Taylor: Taylor looked down when Avery first started playing and placed her hand on the microphone in front of her, preparing to start singing after her. She looked into the blonde's eyes as she started the first verse and with a slightly quivering voice, she followed her. "Words fall through me and always fool me, and I can't react..."
Avery: Avery looked at her with a smile on her face when she started singin' and even if she was nervous, the blonde could swear Taylor's voice was the best thing she'd ever heard. She tried to look at her expressing all she felt for her, to make her feel completely relaxed and confident about what they were doing. That's why she took the next verse, looking straight at her blue eyes, "And games that never amount, to more than they're meant, will play themselves... out" Ave almost whispered the last word.
Taylor: Taylor got lost into Avery's eyes, letting those and the girl next to her be the only thing she could see in the room. It made her grow confident as they both took on the bridge to the chorus: "Take this sinking boat and point it home, we've still got time. Raise your hopeful voice, you have a choice. You'll make it now...", she stared right into those blue eyes as she sang, forgetting about the audience. She was confident enough to take onto the next verse by herself as well, "Falling slowly, eyes that know me, and I can't go back..."
Avery: Avery couldn't help but smiled at that, Taylor's voice was so beautiful and because of that she almost lost the rhythm of the song and stopped playing but fortunately, she continued and fixed her eyes at hers, smiling deeply guessing the meaning of the verse she sang and bit her lip a little bit blushed before she took the next verse, "And moods that take me and erase me and I'll paint it black". Ave wanted so bad to sing along with her, so when the right time arrived, she nodded and began singing hoping that Taylor would join her, "Take this sinking boat and point it home..."
Taylor: Taylor couldn't believe she was doing this, singing on a stage in front of people with the girl she was slowly falling for, saying this same thing through a song. They both sang the rest of the chorus again and finished the song, "Falling slowly sing your melody, I'll sing it loud..." They held the note, their voices united, until both and the melody faded and people exploded into applause. Taylor let out a puff of breath and bit her lip as she turned to them, then back at Avery with a thankful smile.
Avery: Avery knew she was falling slowly for Taylor, ironically she chose that song to let her know that without the need to say it. "I'll sing it loud..." Her voices sounded so good, they were perfect together even to sing. Ave was so lost in Tay's eyes that she hadn't even heard the people beggining to applause. "You were amazing" she whispered when she pulled back from the mic and smiled honestly at the audience, "Thank you" she said and went down the stage, waiting for Taylor.
Taylor: Taylor stared at Avery in awe for a long moment after they finished singing, a soft smile forming on her face at her words. She turned to the audience and nodded before welking down the stage. "Avery!", she grabbed the girl's hand and pulled her closer, pushing the guitar out of the way so she could wrap her arms around the blonde's neck, hugging her for dear life.
Avery: Avery laughed when she pulled her closer and returned the hug instantly, with her hands around Taylor. After a few seconds of silence, the blonde spoke close to her ear. "You were amazing, I love your voice Tay, you should sing more" she said and left a few kisses at her neck, "You have no idea what I felt at that stage woman" Ave laughed and pulled away a little to see her eyes and rest her hand at her cheek.
Taylor: Taylor held Avery close to her, the excitement from what they'd just done still pumping through her body. She chuckled at her words and nodded, "As long as you sing with me", she answered and giggled at the kisses. "Thank you, thank you so much for this", she said sincerely and gazed into Avery's eyes once they pulled back, then captured her lips into a passionate kiss.
Avery: Avery smiled at that and kissed her forehead, "I'd like to hear you sing on your own one day" She was going to shut her up but Taylor's lips were on hers inmediately, and she couldn't help but respond at the kiss with the same passion. "Don't thank me" She whispered against her lips and kissed her again, "You deserve this".
Taylor: "One day", Taylor answered and rolled her eyes. She and Avery kept kissing, maybe because of the rush of the situation, and the brunette whispered on the other girl's lips, "You're going to let me thank you, you like it or not", she giggled. She decided they should go back to their table, so she pulled back and took Avery's hand to lead her back to their seats.
Avery: Avery chuckled at Taylor's words and nodded letting her leading the way. She moved the guitar to one side and began to play with the brunette's fingers, "When you get tired of this, tell me, I'll give you a ride", Ave whispered into her ear and smiled kissing her cheek. The host introduced some kind of boy-band and Avery laughed because that sounded too ridiculous, even for her. "Sorry, it's just... weird" She chuckled.
Taylor: Once sitting down, Taylor leaned closer to Avery to rest against her side. She nodded softly at her offer and smiled at the kiss before turning to the stage, raising her eyebrow at the group of guys who were going to sing next. She noticed Avery laughing and laughed herself, shaking her head. "Boybands are the worst, I swear", she whispered to her and sighed, resting her head on the blonde's shoulder.
Eventually, after a few more performances, Taylor realized how late it got and suggested going home. She had told her mothers she'd be back late but she didn't want any trouble and didn't know how was she supposed to answer questions about that night, so they left in Avery's car. The drive home was silent, mostly because they both were a little tired, but the entire ride they had their fingers interlocked across the console, which borught a smile to Taylor's face every time she looked down. After some time, the blonde pulled up on her driveway and she looked up, sighing as she realized it was her stop. "Well... this is me", she bit her lip and glanced at Avery, hoping the girl would suggest walking her to the door or would say something else.
Avery: Avery watched every move Taylor made, too see if she was tired or not, so when the girl looked at her and squeezed her hand, she didn't get her by surprise when she told her to go home, it was late after all. She'd been driving in silence, with her attention on the road and her mind on Taylor's fingers intertwined with hers. She pulled up after half an hour driving in front of Tay's house. "I'll walk you..." She smiled and got out of the car, opened her door instead. "After you".
Taylor: Taylor smiled at Avery's words and chuckled softly when her door was opened, shaking her head. "Thank you", she said sincerely and started heading to her front door with the blonde following her. Once in front of the door, she turned around to face her and gazed into her eyes. "Now, shut up and let me thank you for tonight", she grinned and reached forward to take her hand, "Really, I had the best of times."
Avery: Avery followed her closely, and when Taylor stopped she looked at her eyes with a smile on her face, "Bossy..." She joked and squeezed her hand at her words, "I had so much fun tonight too..." Ave bit her lip and blushed thinking about what to say... "So... I guess I'll see you soon, right?"
Taylor: Taylor lost herself in those gorgeous blue eyes as Avery spoke, and she nodded her head softly with a smile, amused at her sudden shyness. "Definitely", she answered softly and pulled her closer by her hands, "But I think you're forgetting something first...", she continued, her eyes falling to the blonde's lips, and smiled, hoping Avery would get the hint.
Avery: Avery loved being this closer to Tay, but even more when the distance was that short, her look fell to her lips, licking hers in amusement. "Well... someone told me to /not/ kiss in the first date so..." She joked and brushed her noses together, breathing deeply and closing her eyes already. "But I think I'll forget that..."
Taylor: Taylor's eyes closed slowly at the sickeningly good scent of Avery's perfume and only smiled at her words. She could feel the girl's breath on her skin and all she wanted to do was close the distance between them, so she did and captured her lips in a slow, deep kiss. Her arms wrapped around her neck, pulling them both even closer.
Avery: Avery could feel the girl's smile even if her eyes were closed. She could feel everything in that exact moment, her breath, her delicious smell, her arms around her neck and at last her lips against hers, kissing her slowly. Her hands were travelling along her arms, getting closer to her and Ave felt so vulnerable in that kiss, so open to her, so amazingly good.
Taylor: The kiss was short, but Taylor swore she'd never had a better one before. When they pulled apart, her fingers were tangled in Avery's hair and she was out of breath, but she couldn't care less about that. She slowly opened her eyes to gaze into blue ones and smiled softly. "Ave...", she started before she could think twice about it, her voice not louder than a whisper, "Be my girlfriend".
Avery: Avery was looking at her face with Taylor's eyes still closed, trying to remember the girl's features like her life depended on it. When she opened her eyes, Ave smiled widely gazing at her blue eyes. "Tay..." she said with the exact same tone the brunette used and bit her lip expecting her to talk, and when she did, she felt the air getting caught in her throat. Did she seriously...? Oh my... "Taylor..." Why wasn't she able to speak? Avery smiled and kissed her slowly, enjoying the moment. "Yes..." She whispered against her lips.
Taylor: Taylor was starting to think it had been a bad idea to ask her as she saw the shooked look on the blonde's face. She would get a no for an answer and the wonderful date would end up in a disaster. That was her luck. She had started to panic when all of a sudden she felt Avery's lips on hers again, and her eyes widened for a second before she responded to it as eagerly. Then, she heard her. "Really?", she asked hopefully.
Avery: Avery smiled and grabbed her by her cheeks softly kissing her again, "Really..." she saw that look on Taylor's face and she knew that maybe it was a bad idea to stay in shock for a few seconds, but she couldn't help it, the girl of her dreams was asking her to be her girlfriend, of course she couldn't believe it. But the kiss said everything and her words meant more than anything in that moment. "I've been dying to be your girlfriend for years you know that..."
Taylor: Taylor smiled into the kiss and returned it eagerly, their lips still brushing as she spoke afterwards, "You have no idea how happy I am right now", she whispered and kissed her again. Avery Berry-Fabray, the girl she'd had a crush on for years, was her girlfriend. Did she need any more reasons to smile?
Avery: The smile on Avery's face didn't disappear the entire time she was with Taylor. "I like making you happy, you have no idea how much" The fact was that she was very happy too, Tay made her be like that. No one else. Now, she had a girlfriend, the most beautiful, talented, and amazing girlfriend. How could she be so lucky? "Now you're oficially mine Taylor Harper-Lopez" she whispered after the kiss.
Taylor: Taylor grinned and shrugged, looking right into Avery's eyes the entire time. "I was already yours", she answered and kissed her a few more times before pulling back reluctantly. "I should let you go home...", she smiled sadly and glanced at the nearest window, "My moms are probably behind the door spying on us", she said half-joking.
Avery: Avery giggled softly at that and kissed her one more time, "Yes, you should, but you don't want that" She began to play with her hair while Taylor looke at the window "Don't even say that, we both know how your mothers are... hope your scary mama isn't watching" She joked and and kissed her deeply for the last time, "I'll see you soon".
Taylor: "Not really", she replied with a pout. She knew Avery had to leave, but she didn't want to let her do so. Taylor sighed at that and chuckled at the comment about her mom, "I guess I'll find out later, or tomorrow", she rolled her eyes. She didn't want to say goodbye, but that kiss she got was definitely a good way to do so, "Good night. Text me when you get home", she whispered against her lips and pecked them again before letting her go, and bit her lip as she turned around to unlock the door.
Avery: "Call me if something happens" Avery laughed and with that last kiss she watched her unlock the door, "I'll definitely do" she smiled and hug from behind before she went inside, "Be careful" Ave smiled and kissed her neck before pulled away and got inside her car. She looked at her and waved her goodbye and blew her a kiss. Avery arrived home a few minutes later. It seemed like everyone was already asleep, so carefully and without making any noise, she went upstairs going to her room and texted Taylor once she was there. "Sweet dreams honey, and thank you for tonight".
This is not an emotional post about 2013
In fact, this has been an overall shitty year -except this last month- , and not only for me, it seems. It's also been strangely short, which is new. I don't want to go into details, but I just want to say I'm looking forward to what 2014 has in store for me.

TAGGING: Avery Berry-Fabray and Taylor Harper-Lopez
LOCATION: The Berry Fabray residence
TIME FRAME: Decemer 22nd
NOTES: Avery and Taylor watch a movie with an unexpected turn
The brunette pulled up on the Berry-Fabray driveway and grabbed the small box she'd put her present in from the passenger's seat before making her way out of her car. Careful not to sleep on the ice on the way to the front door, she held the box at her back and walked up the porch steps, then knocked on the door. She hoped Avery would like what she did, otherwise she'd look stupid.
Avery: ‘Everything’s going to be perfect’ Avery thought trying to calm herself and to stop being nervous. “Honey, we’re leaving, we’ll see you tonight, have fun!” “Thanks mom, you too! Tony! Show them who the best quarterback is!” She laughed at that and grabbed two blankets, just in case it was needed. Ave settled everything up and rubbed her legs trying to stay calm. But that didn’t work ‘because the next thing she heard was the knock on the door. Avery stood up and before she answered the door she fixed her blonde short hair looking at the mirror. She breathed one more time and opened the door, smiling widely at the girl standing in front of her “Hi…” She murmured in a soft voice and bit her lip shyly.
Taylor: Taylor was instantly met by those blue eyes she adored staring into hers, and her heart skipped a beat at the sight. Even if the night before she'd been skyping with Avery, seeing her face to face was entirely different. "Hi", she breathed out in response, a small smile settling on her lips as she got lost into the blonde's eyes. "You look beautiful", she said without even thinking, and cleared her throat when she realized it. "Uhm... so, this is for you", she murmured and handed Avery the small box with her present. She'd spent an entire night selecting those mixes that the girl would like from all her stuff, and also made some new ones with the music she'd found Avery had posted on Facebook.
Avery: Definitely, she could stare at her forever. Avery breathed deeply when she saw her standing there, smiling and -wait did she say she looked beautiful?- She blushed at her words and nodded once, "Thank you, you look..." Her eyes landed on her body and Avery cleared her throat "... Stunning" She looked at her with wide eyes when Taylor gave her the small box and opened it, a little /oh/ escaped from her mouth while she handed the CD, she read with attention the songs and smiled from eye to eye "Thank you Tay, this is amazing" Avery hugged her without thinking and put her arms around her neck, embracing her.
Taylor: Taylor blushed at the compliment, and when she felt Avery pull her into a hug, her body tensed up. She'd never been a fan of physical contact, and specially not without warning, but something about the girl made her embrace feel completely different than any other. "It's... it's nothing", she answered as she pulled back after a few seconds, tucking a few strands of her hair behind her ear with a shy smile. "I just had some time and I thought you'd like it", she shrugged, and raised her eyebrow, "Listen to it when I'm not here, though. Or else it'd be too embarrassing."
Avery: Avery lost sense of her completely when she embraced her, holding her tight and feeling goosebumps all over her body. A breath escaped from her lips and pulled back after her. "Thank you" She smiled once again and looked at her blue eyes "It's perfect" She bit her lip "Mmm... let me think about that" Avery joked and realised they were still at the entrance, "Oops, sorry, please come in" She went inside and close the door when Taylor followed her.
Taylor: Taylor grinned, happy that Avery liked her present. "I'm glad", she answered and chuckled at the girl's following comment, "C'mon, you wouldn't do that to me" As soon as Avery mentioned they were still at the entrance, Taylor realized she was standing outside the door, and a shiver ran down her spine. "I wouldn't mind it if I wasn't freezing my ass off", she joked and finally followed the blonde inside, letting a sigh of relief as she walked away from the cold, further into the living room.
Avery: "Don't challenge me Taylor" Avery arched an eyebrow at her direction and when she was inside, "Let me... keep this somewhere safe, get yourself comfortable, it won't take long" She went up the stairs and went to her room, with a smile on her lips she leave the CD in her bed for later and went down the stairs again. "I'm here" Avery smiled and suddenly felt happy about spending time with Taylor "Do you want something to drink?"
Taylor: Taylor nodded at Avery before the girl disappeared down the hall and quickly took off her coat, hanging it on the rack before walking over to the couch and sitting down, getting comfortable as the blonde had told her to. Once she heard her walk back into the living room, she smiled up at her and bit her lip at the question. "Uhm... I'd be nice and told you I'm fine, but something hot sounds way too good now", she said with an innocent smile, giving the other girl puppy eyes.
Avery: Avery almost died of adorability when she saw her face and bit her lip, "Don't look at me like that" She laughed and leaned above the coach to have a better look on her. "Let me think" Ave licked her lips as she used to at the different thoughts that came to her mind and smirked at her when the idea seemed appropriate "How about hot chocolate?" She raised her eyebrows and rested her head in her hands looking at her with a smile on her face.
Taylor: Taylor's breath hitched when Avery leaned over the couch, and her eyes fell to the girl's lips when she licked them. She swallowed roughly and frowned when she realized the blonde had spoken to her. "Huh?", she asked, looking up at her eyes, and shook her head softly, "I mean... Yeah, sure. Chocolate is totally fine, thanks", she smiled weakly and picked up the remote. "I'll, uhm, I'll set up the movie meanwhile, huh?"
Avery: Avery kept staring at her while she was quiet and raised an eyebrow when Taylor stuttered a little bit, she chuckled and nodded "Okay, hot chocolate it is" She stood up and went to the kitchen but her words stopped her "Yeah sure, I'll be right back" she smiled at her one more time and disappeared. Avery breathed deeply once she were in the kitchen and prepared two cups of hot chocolate while she thought about Taylor and the movie they were going to see. 'It's going to be fine, just... it's going to be fine'
Taylor: While Avery made the chocolate, Taylor turned on the TV and kept herself busy selecting the movie they were going to watch. She'd seen the trailer and ads of 'Blue is the warmest colour', and it seemed like a good enough movie to watch. Once she found it, she relaxed on the couch as she waited for the blonde to come back.
Avery: Avery waited and sat on the counter while the chocolate was made. When it was, she stood up again and placed it in two cups. She breathed deeply and returned to where Taylor was waiting for her. "Here" She sat next to her with a space between them and offered her her cup of chocolate, "Be careful, I don't want you to get burn" Avery smiled sincerely looking at her blue eyes.
Taylor: Taylor tried not to look disappointed at the space Avery left between them, but part of her was relieved. If they sat too close, the brunette would be on edge during the entire movie. "Thanks", she gave the blonde a thankful smile as she reached out to grab one of the mugs, then chuckled softly, "I'll try not to, but thanks for the warning", she said before blowing softly on the surface of the chocolate, and once she saw they were both sitting comfortable, she pressed play on the remote to start the movie.
Avery: "You're welcome" Avery simply said and sat on the couch, crossing her legs to be more comfortable, she smiled when she heard Taylor chuckled and grabbed a blanket, "Here, I know it's cold outside and you must be freezing" A smile appeared on her face while she offered her the blanket and took a sip of her hot chocolate, "Do you know what this movie is about" Ave said looking at her.
Taylor: Taylor dared to take a small sip from the chocolate and refrained herself from moaning at the taste. It was simply delicious. She quirked her eyebrow at Avery as she saw her grab the blanket and then smiled sweetly at her, "Just a little cold, but I'll sure be warm now", she assured her. After watching the credits start, she turned to the blonde when she heard her speak and shook her head. "Only that's about two girls... falling in love", she said with a furrowed eyebrow and bit her lip.
Avery: Avery knew what that movie was about, it didn't matter to her but, seeing it with Taylor was totally different, especially because of her feelings. She smiled when she heard her answer and nodded, "That's what I've heard too... and that's good, that's all" Without thinking, she moved until the distance between them was short.
Taylor: Taylor nodded her head at her answer, "Then we should give it an opportunity", she shrugged and continued sipping her chocolate, as a comfortable silence settled between them. She kept her attention on the movie on the screen until she noticed Avery shifting closer, and her breath hitched slightly. She was closer, but not close enough. Taylor didn't think she could ever get close enough.
Avery: "Yeah we should", Avery smiled and fixed her eyes at the TV while she got closer. She didn't finish her chocolate but she wasn't thirsty or cold anymore so the cup ended at the table in front of her. Ave didn't know what to do anymore but she felt the urgency to cuddle with someone.
Taylor: Taylor stayed silent for a while, glancing at Avery every now and then out of the corner of her eye. She heard her moving next to her and wondered what she was doing, until she saw her put her cup down on the table. After taking one last sip from her chocolate, she did the same, and started fiddling with her fingers on her lap. It was a habit she got out of her mother, and she always did it when she didn't know what to do with her hands. She wanted to wrap one arm around Avery, but she knew she'd probably scare the girl if she did that.
Avery: Avery didn't know what she was doing, but her mind couldn't stop thinking about cuddling with Taylor, but she didn't make a move in case she'd upset her, Tay didn't seem like kind of person, so she stayed there doing nothing but stare at the movie. Suddenly, she felt cold so she grabbed the blanket and cover herself, a smile appeared on her face when she realised what she was going to do. Avery moved a little closer and watched at Taylor "Here" her hands travelled along Tay's legs covering her with the blanket.
Taylor: Taylor's attention went back to the movie, but not for long. There was a sex scene between the main character and a guy now, so she wasn't really interested. Instead, her gaze fell back on Avery just as the girl grabbed the blanket, and her heart started racing when the girl got even closer and covered her with the blanket. If she didn't know better, she'd think Avery was trying to make a move on her. But it wasn't possible. She smiled weakly in thanks and looked down, taking a deep breath. She knew she had the opportunity to do something, and if she didn't she'd regret it afterwards. "You still cold...?", she asked softly and slowly slung her arm behind Avery's head, over her shoulders, in a try to pull her closer.
Avery: When her hands touched softly her legs she felt all kinds of goosebumps going through her body, lot of them were actually in her abdomen, even if it was just a soft touch that last a few seconds.
Avery: She watched every move the brunette made with the corner of her eye and sat properly again, but Taylor's arm interrupted her, and her breath got caught in her throat. Avery snuggled into her and hide her head in Taylor's neck, breathing deeply. Maybe it was too much or maybe it wasn't but she felt so comfortable in her arms. "No... not cold anymore" She murmured softly.
Taylor: At first, Taylor was scared Avery would pull back as soon as she noticed what she was doing, but she was pleasantly surprised when the blonde cuddled into her. She bit her lip to try and hide her smile, and gulped her head when she felt Avery's breath on her neck. She also could smell her sickeningly addictive perfume, which wasn't helping her relax. She forced herself to pay attention to the movie, which was on the part where the two girls start falling in love, and absentmindedly ran her fingers up and down the other girl's arm.
Avery: Avery felt so happy once she was in Taylor's arms, cuddling with her was better tan expected. She relaxed a little and snuggled even closer, feeling her heart beating so close to her it made her really happy. She let out a breath when Taylor didn't move, in fact, she started to run her fingers up and down her arm, so, she smiled and let herself be more comfortable while she watched the movie. "You okay there?" Avery asked softly brushing her lips in her neck unconsciously.
Taylor: Taylor smiled softly at the scene on the TV, finally settling in her new position, until she felt Avery's lips brush her neck, and she stiffened. She did her best to control herself and just nodded in response. She closed her eyes, trying to compose herself, but it only intensified what she was feeling. 'Focus on the movie, Taylor', she told herself and opened her eyes again to look at the screen on the worst of times. The girls in the movie were making out quite heavily, and it wasn't long before it moved to a very explicit sex scene. Taylor shifted uncomfortably on her seat and tried to look anywhere but the screen or the girl next to her.
Avery: Avery quickly moved from her neck when she realised what she was doing and felt a little embarrassed about her attitude towards the girl. She breathed deeply once again and fixed her eyes at the movie, but it was even worse, there was a very explicit sex scene going on between the two girls, and she couldn't stop the instant heat she felt. Avery needed the space between Taylor and her again but she couldn't find the strength to do that. "Oh my god" escaped from her mouth and her hand touched without warning Taylor's side and she instantly pulled her hand away.
Taylor: Taylor's eyes were wide and glued to the screen. Watching the movie and watching a porn one couldn't be so different, and it was becoming harder and harder to ignore the heat settling between her legs.
Taylor: She didn't understand how Avery could be so calm about it, but she knew she wasn't when she heard what she mumbled. A sly grin covered Taylor's features before she felt Avery's hand on her side, and she gulped loudly. She was frozen in place, not knowing what to do. Slowly, she turned her head to look at the girl cuddling into her, regretting her decision as soon as she was met with gorgeous blue eyes.
Avery: Avery hated when her body took control over her mind, and she instantly regretted her decision and moved her hand away from her side. She looked at her because maybe, just maybe, she'd be upset. But what she found was so much better. Avery froze when Taylor's blue eyes found hers, and she felt herself moving closer and closer until her nose was touching hers softly.
Taylor: Taylor was pretty sure her brain had stopped functioning when their gazes met. All she knew in that moment, was that Avery's breath was so close she could feel it against her skin, and her eyes were boring into hers. Her heart threatened with jumping out of her chest, and she didn't register anything that happened until she found herself incredibly close to the blonde, so close that she just needed to tilt her head forward and...
"Just let me talk to that little devil's parents!", a familiar voice shouted from the front door, causing Taylor to snap and pull back immediately. Her first reaction was to grab the remote and turn off the TV before anyone could see what they were watching, and just after she did so, a grumbling Quinn Berry-Fabray walked into the living room, followed by Rachel, who helped her limping son walk. "Hi sweetheart", Quinn said to Avery without looking at her, as she hung her coat on the rack, "Some kid pushed your brother and he sprained his ankle, so we-", the blonde's voice was interrupted by Rachel, who coughed softly as she glanced at the two girls sitting on the couch. "Quinn, our daughter has company", she said softly, a knowing smile on her face.
Avery: Avery closed her eyes when her lips were a few milimeters from hers, all she could feel was her heart beating fast and her hands trembling a little bit at the other girl's cheek. She lost sense of her completely when her lips brushed hers but the feelings last seconds, 'cause Taylor quickly pulled apart and turned off the TV, Avery started to panic thinking maybe she'd be upset about that but she groaned loudly when she heard her mom's voice followed by her brother limping. "Oh my god Tony! Are you okay?" She stood up quickly and ran towards him, "Yeah sis, don't worry, that assho-" "Tony!" "Sorry mom, /someone/ ran after me and well, I spained my ankle" Ave gave her mom a kiss on the cheek and helped her brother sat down on the couch. "Hi Taylor" Rachel smiled at her and Quinn brought ice from the kitchen to her brother. "What were you two doing?" "Just watching a movie" She answered quickly and she blushed when she thought about what they were going to do.
Taylor: As fast as she'd turned off the TV, Taylor was on her feet and turned around to meet the inquiring gazes of Rachel and Quinn Berry-Fabray. Avery had told the truth, all they had done was watch a movie together -very, very together-, but she couldn't help feeling like they'd just interrupted so much bigger. Like she'd been caught. And well, she had been caught almost kissing the blonde - she almost kissed Avery, for God's sake! Taylor's face wasn't far from being red, and she couldn't look any of the women in the eyes as they spoke to themselves, until she heard Rachel speak to her. "Now that we're staying in, would you like to stay for dinner, Taylor?", she asked. The younger girl looked up at her and cleared her throat. "I-uhm, I'd like to, but I should get going. My... mothers are expecting me to come home.", she lied. She couldn't stay at that house for longer after what happened.
Avery: Avery was so embarrassed in that moment, her mum was staring at her trying to read her mind but she smiled to stop worrying her. She ran her fingers through her head to stop thinking about that almost kiss. She almost kissed Taylor! What was she thinking? Her mom's words stopped her thoughts and she was gonna say something but the brunette interrupted her, she couldn't help but felt a little sad by her answer. "Y-yeah, you can stay but if your mothers want you at home right now..." She said looking directly at her, searching for her eyes, "Whatever you want Tay".
Taylor: Taylor looked between the two women and Avery, biting her lip as she decided what to do. She didn't want to upset the blonde, but how was she supposed to stay for dinner after what they almost did and just act like everything was normal? She needed to go home, process what happened, and hope that things didn't get awkward between her and the blonde. That'd be the best. Taking a deep breath, she voiced her decision, "I should go. Wouldn't want to make them wait. It was nice of you to offer, though.", she said with a small smile and moved to retrieve her coat.
Avery: Avery nodded with a soft smile on her face and moved away to let her caught her coat. "Say your mothers we say hi" Rachel smiled politely at her while she rubbed her son's back, the three of them waved her and Avery stood beside her "I... I'll walk you to the door" She wasn't asking, she really wanted to do that.
Taylor: Taylor nodded her head softly at the girl as she put on her coat and waved softly at the rest of the family before following Avery to the front door, taking a deep breath before speaking. "Well... that was some movie", she joked with a soft, nervous giggle, meeting the girl's eyes. "I had fun today, though."
Avery: Avery's mind was trying to find the words to say to her but she couldn't and she found herself trapped. Fortunately, Taylor broke the silence. "Yeah..." She laughed softly at that comment and bit her lip looking at her a bit nervous, "Me too... it was... interesting" she frowned at her own words and chuckled shaking her head. "See you soon?" Avery said wishing she'd say yes.
Taylor: Taylor found herself fiddling with her hands again as she looked into Avery's eyes. The situation itself was awkward, but she didn't want the girl to think she didn't like her company. "Yeah, definitely", she answered easily and without giving herself time to hesitate, she leaned in to place a soft kiss on the blonde's cheek. A smile covered her features when she pulled back, and opened the front door. "See you soon, Ave", she answered with a crooked smile and walked out of the house.
Avery: Avery let out a breath when she heard her answer and smiled, "Good" before she could do anything, Taylor's lips were on her cheek and she felt her skin on fire, it felt so nice and she returned the kiss before Taylor pulled back "See you soon, Tay", Ave waved softly at her and closed the door a few seconds later. She couldn't wait to see her again.
