While the past week flew by for Tom Hiddleston, not many events had taken place. He held the occasional facetime or phone conversation with family and friends once or twice a day. Delilah was growing fast, in a matter of two days, she would be seven weeks old. One week from hitting two months. Tom was just as elated about her as he was the day she was born, loving every second of being a dad. Though she slept a good fifteen to seventeen hours day, there still wasn’t enough time to get a lot done. He was finding it easier to clean and occasionally prep a meal, as he learned the ropes around the short naps and became more accustomed to her routine. The Brit felt himself growing more exhausted by the day, eventually coming down to his mother offering to fly in and lend a hand sometime soon enough, given he had been going solid for a couple of weeks by himself. Also, so that he could get out of the house for a night or two with friends and not have to worry about his parenting duties.
One thing he could not remove from his mind, all week, was Elizabeth Olsen. Not that he was constantly thinking about her, as much as he was, but he was digging into her meals every night and that was bound to cause some thoughts, wasn’t it? Seeing her after so long had ignited feelings he had mostly forgotten he had. It was bad timing, between her long-term break-up and his sudden journey into parenthood, but it’s not like it hadn’t ever been there beforehand. The thought of ruining the friendship by possibly being honest about where his feelings stood for Lizzie, was terrifying to say the least, but after the subtle flirting over her drunk texts had him wondering if maybe there were some potentially returned feelings there that she wasn’t being honest about having, either. Not to mention, the subtle looks and gestures she gave a week ago. He still felt her head rested back against his chest when he thought about her, earning an off-beat skip in his heart. His heart had been stopping and skipping and warming inside of his chest all night at her bold drunk texts. Either way, he hoped there was more there than sober Lizzie was letting on, the way drunk Lizzie was, and long-term friendship be damned, he was going to ask about it in the morning.
Tom sat on a stool in the kitchen at the bar, staring down at his phone as his teeth nipped at the corner of his thumb out of nervous habit, ready to respond to Lizzie’s text. At the sound of a car making way into the driveway, he glanced up and shifted off the stool, quietly making his way through the house and into the entry hall. Tom opened the front door, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning into the frame as he awaited the arrival of his friend, smiling softly at her after she exited the vehicle and came up the few steps to his porch. He held a polite hand up at the driver as they did a one-eighty before wrapping his arms around Lizzie’s figure, pulling her into a solid hug. Tom pressed a kiss to her temple as he inhaled, the scent of alcohol filling his nose. “You have been drinking, haven’t you?” He chuckled, keeping an arm around her as he pulled her inside. “Baby’s out like a light for the majority of the night. You can say hello in the morning.” @lizzieolxen

The morning started out with Blaine and Dare, naked and tangled around each other in front of the fireplace after a long night of whispered ‘I love you’ between soft kisses and touches so powerful they could etch their fingerprints on each other’s soul.
The night before had been a rocky start compared to the calm and quiet night Blaine had planned. There was supposed to be cookies and festive drinking, the brother’s catching up on all the time they had missed together. Life had been pulling them apart lately, Dare busy with his duties as a leader and friend, Blaine with work, show choir and his interest in Jesse.
It wasn’t a lie that things with Jesse had been going really well. So well in fact that Blaine had entertained the hope and thought of maybe having a relationship with him. Something simple, where they could spend hours talking about musicals and dance -- watching old movies and going out on dates hand-in-hand with so much public displays of affection, it would make people sick. With Jesse, Blaine could have that kind of relationship he dreamed of with a man more amazing that he ever deserved.
But...
Standing there, in his kitchen, with Dare, things awkward and tense as they tried to pretend like they hadn’t been arguing not 24 hours before it dawned on Blaine that he would never have a normal relationship. He’ll never date a simple guy from a great family or have an easy life. Not when he was so wrapped up in his twin, that it was hard to know where one stopped and the other began.
Every moment of the day, there was always that thought in the back of his mind whispering about how much he’d rather be with Dare at that moment or where Dare was -- was he safe, was he alive, was he with someone else? The gnawing jealousy of the possibility that his brother was connecting his body to another person at any given moment was that fear pricking at the back of his neck, causing the hairs to always stand on end in anxiety.
Blaine had thought about bringing up the conversation, wanting them to finally put it all to rest but before he could even work up the courage to bring it up Dare’s phone started blowing up. Texts upon texts from Serpents and drama came pouring him causing Dare to pace the floor of the tiny apartment. A single reply he shot off was met with three incoming ones.
Blaine had been sure that Dare was going to bolt right out the door to fight the threat because that was what he did. He always protected and he always attacked threats. It had always been his way and as Blaine was getting older, he had to realize that he wasn’t the only one his twin would fight for. Their world was much larger now, filled with many more people who needed them. So, he had resigned himself to not throwing a tantrum, excepting Dare to make promises of quality time later.
Instead, however, Blaine was met with a surprise -- his twin had put his phone on silent, ignoring any further messages and turning to Blaine to ensure him that he wasn’t going anywhere, not this time. It shouldn’t have touched Blaine the way it did and it shouldn’t have caused his eyes to swell like it did but that simple action had broken the wall he had built up until it crumbled to pieces at Dare’s feet.
He didn’t hold back from kissing his brother, nor did he stop himself from tasting and savoring every part of the man he had been missing more than words could express. They loved each other slow and with purpose, making sure every kiss, caress and panted word of adoration was carved like a heart into the wood of a tree that even time couldn’t erase.
They loved each other deeply and furiously, first on the counter, the kitchen floor, the couch and finally the living room floor in front of the fire; neither upset that they never made it to the bedroom or that the neighbors could hear almost everything through the thin walls. Nothing else mattered but them, right there, in that moment, until they fell asleep in each other’s arms.
When morning finally came, with the cruel screeching of Blaine’s alarm they were reluctant to break apart. Neither wanted the lingering happiness of last night to end because there was never any certainty with them. Blaine would have rather spent the morning, tracing his fingers over his twin’s features and memorizing every scar, tattoo, and muscle that he already knew by heart. He didn’t want them any further than a breath’s length apart again but they had things to do.
Reluctantly, they got up and showered together and dressed together, finding moments to pause for a kiss, a brushing of hands or a simple embrace of one another excused by helping to fix a shirt or a straighten a bow tie. To be truthful, all the touching probably made what should have been an easy twenty-minute activity well over an hour, so now they were in a rush to get out of the house.
The Sister would be expecting Blaine, plus one, soon but there was always time for coffee and donuts for the children. At least that’s what Blaine said when he made Dare point the car towards the shops in the center of town, singing along to every cheesy Christmas jingle that came on the radio as loud as he could manage.
As they park, Blaine noticed the street crowded with friends and family gathered around the stage of Riverdale’s prized Christmas tree. The lightning ceremony had been less than festive but most people never let anything get in the way of their pep. Carolers and matures alike took turns on the mic, singing Christmas songs and filling the air with happiness. The biggest of smiles spread across Blaine’s face as he climbed out of the car and went to join his brother’s side. For a second, he almost forgot that they were in public as he went to grab his hand with enthusiasm as a four-year-old girl was singing to a boy he assumed was her crush.
It was then that Blaine had possibly the greatest epiphany of his life.
Bolting away from his brother without an explanation, Blaine ran towards the stage to talk to the P.A who nodded at him and gave him the thumbs up. The younger twin bounced on his heels in impatience as he waited for the current person on the stage to finish. But finally it was his turn and Blaine wasn’t sure if he was really ready but he was going to take that leap anyway.
Climbing a couple of stairs, he took the mic in hand and waited until his confused brother was in the crowd before swallowing every once of nervousness and silencing the voice that told him this was a mistake.
“H-Hey... I mean...” He cleared his throat. “Hi! I’m Blaine Anderson.. but some of you already knew that... heh...” God his bow tie was suddenly way too tight and it felt like he might pass out. Blaine was a performer, he never had stage fright but this moment... it was the biggest moment of his life. “Um... Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you’re all having a happy and wonderful time with the ones you love.” Silence from the crowd didn’t help him in the least bit, Blaine was even sure he could see a few people glaring at him because he had the audacity to be out in public with his father still in jail. “Anyway... I used to believe I was someone who wasn’t afraid of love or someone who worshipped love like a religion but I realized... this morning in fact... that I was wrong. I’ve been hiding from real, true, actual love for a very long time and I’ve been too afraid of what people would think that I chose to ignore how I felt rather than allow myself to be truly happy.” Pausing, he stopped and locked eyes with Dare in the crowd. “I’m not afraid anymore and I’m done hiding or pretending that I’m not in love. This isn’t a Christmas song but here is a song just for you.”
That was the cue for the PA to start the music and instantly the swell of instruments filled the space around them. “Never knew I could feel like this like I´ve never seen the sky before. I want to vanish inside your kiss --Every day I´m loving you more and more.” The nervousness was gone as he stared into his brother’s hazel eyes that mirrored his own and his smile grew wider. “ Telling me to give you everything. Seasons may change, winter to spring but I love you until the end of time. Come what may come what may.” His voice grew with emotion and intention as he took the mic with him, climbing down from the stage and walking towards his brother in the crowd until he was in front of him “I will love you until my dying day.” Blaine took Dare’s hand, ignoring every confused look or disgusted look of realization while he kept going. “ Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place. Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace. Suddenly my life doesn´t seem such a waste. It all revolves around you. And there´s no mountain too high, no river too wide -- Sing out this song I´ll be there by your side.” Letting go of the mic in his hand, Blaine reached out to cup his brother’s hand in his hands pulling him in until their foreheads were touching. “Storm clouds may gather and stars may collide but I love you until the end of time. Oh, come what may, I will love you....”
The song hadn’t even finished before Blaine was pushing up on to the tip of his toes just enough to close the distance between their lips. Right then and there, in front of God and a good part of Riverdale to see, Blaine grabbed his brother’s coat and claimed Darius’s mouth in the deepest kiss he could to try to convey every ounce of his love. It was his declaration that no matter what happened after this, it was going to be them -- no hiding or acting like it was some shameful dirty secret to keep -- just love. Their love. Their way. Forever.
Ever since his diagnosis at the hospital, the world felt like it was in slow motion; nothing seemed real, it all seemed like it was an elaborate sick joke conducted by someone who wanted Sebastian to suffer. But it wasn’t and that’s what made it so much worse, it wasn’t a joke, it wasn’t a mistake, Sebastian had pretty much been diagnosed with Cancer on his brain and here he was, two weeks later; sat in a cab with his boyfriend on their way for his consultation at the private hospital. If it weren’t for his father stepping in, things wouldn’t be moving as quickly as they were now beginning to; the private hospital had all his notes transferred over and they were certain that today’s consultation would take away any of the lingering questions or concerns that had been caused by the first hospital attendance.
It wasn’t easy knowing he had something on his brain that could either kill him or change his life forever, but Sebastian was holding to as much hope as he could and while it wasn’t an easy task, having Blaine by his side did make it seem a little easier. He diverted his attention from the cab window to his boyfriend; a warm smile taking over as he interlocked their fingers together tried to seem strong. “Thank you for coming with me today.”
10 hours. 10 hours had passed since the shooting at McKinley had ended. 10 hours since Sebastian, Blaine and every other student in the building had been saved. 10 hours had already come and gone. While most wouldn’t even notice the time come and pass by, it had been the longest 10 hours the Anderson and Smythe Family had ever gone through; in their eyes, it was like 10 centuries had come and gone, their children had been shot, had been rushed to hospital and both needed urgent saving. While neither of them had even close to the same injuries as one another, they were almost both as serious. Blaine had needed surgery on his leg, as well as a blood transfusion, while it didn’t sound as serious, it was a major operation to remove a bullet from his leg while also trying to not cause any damage to the teen’s muscles or nerves. It sounded so simple, but even to the most knowledgeable, it could be one of the hardest tasks to complete successfully. Whereas for Sebastian, he had been shot in the chest twice and point blank range, nobody knew if he would even make it off of the operating table; he did, but after the news his father had received, death sounded much easier.
One of the bullets that had entered Sebastian’s chest caused a large exit wound through his left shoulder blade, causing the bone to completely shatter and required for an entire replacement, as well as a plastic surgeon having to come to see just how much scarring the younger male would be left with. As well as that, the cardiac team said that it was a miracle Sebastian had even survived on his way to the hospital; the first bullet had just narrowly missed the left ventricle, the cardiac specialist stated that if had even been a millimetre closer, the high school student most definitely wouldn’t have survived. Sadly, that was the only good news the former Warbler’s father would receive on his son; the first bullet also broke his breastbone, as well as all of his ribs; most of them were shattered, broken in more than one place, but with metal screws and a wire being put in place, they would gradually heal over time, but Sebastian would have a long road ahead of him in regards to surgeries. One of the vessels of Sebastian’s heart had also been damaged, but luckily it was easily repaired, but for at least 2 and a half years, he would need regular follow-up scans and tests done to ensure there would be no complications.
Amazingly, the second bullet that had hit Sebastian had caused no serious injuries and had been easily removed, but due to Sebastian having suffered multiple seizures, cardiac arrests and both the oxygen and blood had been cut from his brain multiple times, there was no way to tell if he would suffer any long-term brain damage, until he woke up, it was all an agonising game of waiting. The last part of his injuries that doctors were immediately able to pinpoint was burn scars that Sebastian would be left with from the heat of the bullets causing the shirt he had been wearing that day to melt to his skin. It seemed so little in comparison to every other injury Sebastian had suffered, but nobody really knew how scars or burns would affect him mentally in regards mainly to his self-esteem. Broken bones and injuries would heal, but mental health was a lot more difficult to cure.
While neither boys had been in surgery for the same amount of time, they had spent their time in recovery together and finally, they were in a hospital room together, both peacefully still sleeping with their families by their side to help them through their devastating ordeals. Sebastian’s father was curled up on the chair beside his son’s bed, fast asleep with a blanket wrapped around him, he had spent the entire time in the hospital pacing the corridors and going outside to have a cigarette to help calm his nerves.
Blaine’s parents were both sat by their son’s side, his mother holding his hand in hers as she gently rubbed her thumb over his knuckles, at one point she had slept, but even the smallest noise woke her up. Cooper had arrived too, he was sat at the end of the bed, every so often having to exit the room due to the overwhelming emotion coming over him every so often. The television that was screwed to the wall facing both boy’s beds was switched on, Blaine’s father having this protective instinct to know everything that was happening with the person that had caused this. He needed to know the culprit had been caught and would suffer the consequences of their actions.
“Oh, Blaine, my sweet baby boy, I’m so proud of you... You have such a long journey ahead of you, but you’ve already made it so far, you don’t have to worry anymore. Mommy and daddy are here now and we will do whatever it takes to protect you, nothing like this will ever happen again. I’ll make sure of it.” Blaine’s mother whispered, sighing as she tried to keep her tears at bay as the news started to talk about her son and his latest condition. “I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you this time.”

Summary - Jake and Scout go shopping for tattoos
Jake hated feeling so freaked out, but he had a right to be. It wasn’t every day you made a decision to permanently mark your body with ink and especially not with your best friend’s little sister. If her parents found out Scout had a tattoo and that Jake was responsible for it, he wasn’t sure who would kill him first, Ryder or their parents. He placed his hand on his thigh to keep it from bouncing while he sat and waited for Scout to show up--if she even would. Looking down at his phone, he snorted at her texts. It should bug him that she was being difficult, but because it was her, it was endearing. Cute, even. Shaking his head, he tapped his fingers against the wheel, hoping she’d hurry up before he really did change his mind.
He closed his eyes for maybe two seconds to help him figure out if he really, truly felt like aiding in Scout’s rebellion when a loud noise made him jump. Tensing up, he turned in his seat and saw Scout standing outside the passenger side, laughing her ass off. He had half a mind to lock her out and drive off, but instead he unlocked the door and waited for her to climb in. “That wasn’t funny.”
NOTES: Finn confronts Brittany about her audition for glee club since she hadn’t let him know. The two talk it out in an empty classroom and talk about a new arrangement between them.
Finn didn't know what to do or what to think about finding out about Brittany's audition. Yeah, he was happy that the blonde decided to join but he wondered why she didn't tell him about it that night. He opened up his locker, traded his books and closed it before he saw a blonde ponytail walking away from him. "Brittany." He called out as he locked the locker and went after her. "Hey, wait up."
Brittany was still thinking about auditioning for the glee club. She mostly wanted to do it because of Finn, but she also missed dancing. Sure cheering was cheering but it was no fun when Quinn was the one always getting praised. Plus it seemed like fun when the group talked about upcoming performances and practices. It was a surprise to her when Finn joined but she supposed she was about to surprise herself. When she heard Finn, she turned around and stopped walking with a smile. "Hey, what's up?" She asked, glad that things were back to normal.
Finn returned the smile as he caught up with her and slid his hand into his pocket. "Hey, not much, but a little birdie told me that you were auditioning for the glee club." He replied in a low voice, as he gestured his head for them to continue walking down the hall. He gave a head nod to the football guys and some cheerleaders before he glanced at Brittany. "If you want, we can go to the empty science room."
Brittany heard him as she opened her mouth slightly. She walked with him down the hall and nodded. "Okay," she said, not knowing Mr. Schuester was going to tell Finn about her possibly auditioning. When they arrived, she set her backpack aside and looked at him. "I didn't know for sure. I just said that so he wouldn't be sad. He looks totally excited for it." She let him know while biting her lip lightly.
Finn shut the door behind them, placed his backpack next to the door and slid onto the desk to look at her. "Yeah, he's excited for it." He agreed softly as he watched her bit her lip lightly and glanced back at her eyes. "So, you're not auditioning for glee club, or are you? I mean, you know I'd support whatever you wanna do."
Brittany propped herself up on the desk next to him and sighed. "I dunno. I like dancing. So, it seems like a lot of fun. But I don't want it to be a chore." She mumbled while leaning her head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry for not telling you though."
Finn nodded as she spoke, knowing what she was talking about and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "I get that, but no pressure okay?" He rubbed her shoulders. "Its okay, it happens to the best of us."
Brittany smiled softly as she nodded a litte. "Okay." She said while draping her legs across his lap. "Yeah," she said quietly and sighed. "Soo, how's everything else?" She asked while liking being in his hold.
Finn placed his hand on her legs and smiled softly a bit. He liked being close to her, well hold her. "Everything else is okay, grandparents are wanting me to visit them more but I dunno. What about you? How's everything else?"
Brittany nodded as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Do you wanna?" She asked while shrugging a little. "I'm good." She let him know while rubbing his arm gently.
Finn shrugged his other shoulder at her question. "I kinda do, but I dont wanna hear about their feud with my mom." He answered softly as he felt her shrug. "Yeah? How's your parents doing?" He felt her rub his arm gently.
Brittany pout as she looked up at him and traced a small circle on the back of his hand. "Wanna talk about it?" She asked, wanting to help him out with his own problems too. "They're good. They miss you."
Finn nodded as he heard her question and brushed some of her hair back from her face. "Yeah, I do." He replied softly and grinned when he heard her parents miss him. "Yeah? Maybe I should come over for dinner sometime."
Brittany was always listening to every word he had to say. "Tell me about it." She said to him. The thought of him having dinner with her parents seemed like a special occasion. Something that just friends didn't quite do. "Yeah, that'd be awesome."
Finn nodded as he let out a breath. "They would rather want me to focus on sports than music, its been like that since we were little and it has gotten slightly worse when they found out about the glee club." He replied softly, grinned as he placed a kiss against her head. "Tell me what to bring, and I'll bring it."
Brittany frowned when she heard him and nodded a little. She closed her eyes for a moment when he kissed her forehead, relaxing in his hold. "I'm sorry, Finn. I dunno why you can't do both. You're still great at both of them." She said and shook her head. "Nah, just yourself. And your cuddles for afterwards."
Finn rubbed her lower back as he smiled softly as she spoke. "Its okay B and its because my grandfather's friends with Tanaka." He teased a bit. "Thank you." He smiled as she spoke, nodded before he lightly bit down on his bottom lip. "Definitely...What about something else too?"
Brittany rolled her eyes while she heard about Tanaka. Technically he never really did anything besides yell at the players. Even if they did great, it never seemed to satisfy him. "Well ignore him. You're amazing and don't let him mess with you." She said and raised an eyebrow a bit. "Like what?"
Finn nodded when he heard her and smiled as she talked. "Thank you B." He glanced down at her and bit on his lower lip, feeling shy all of a sudden. He shrugged a bit, scratched the back of his neck at her question. "Like, maybe we can kiss again..."
Brittany blushed at his question. That night was one she definitely remembered. If she were to do it again, well, she wanted to. She bit her lip lightly as she looked up at him and glanced down at his lips. "Yeah?" She asked quietly, unsure of what that meant for them. "So, that'd be like making this a, kissing kind of thing?" She asked with a small smile.
Finn nodded at her question. "Yeah," He breathed out, chewed on his inner cheek and heard her question. "If you wanted? I mean, if you dont, that's totally cool and I wanna respect you."
Brittany giggled lightly as she nodded. "I want to." She said while remembering how tempted she was to do it yesterday night. They were so close to each other, and if she had stared at his lips longer, she was positive that she would have. Besides, now that they were talking about it, it wouldn't be a weird silence between them anymore. "Especially since you're a good kisser. At least that's what I remember, soo maybe I need to refresh my memory. " She added, smirking slightly while wanting to be a tease at the moment. Naturally, it was who she was. "Right?" She asked while kissing the corner of his mouth, leaving another gently peck on his jaw as she looked up at him.
Finn grinned when he heard her and smirked as he glanced at her lips, knowing that he had been wanting to do so since that night when they were close. "Yeah, I need my memory to be refreshed too." He added after and felt her kiss the corner of his mouth. "Mhm." He leaned down slightly and captured her lips in a slightly chaste kiss as he moved slightly before he cupped her cheek gently. He brushed his tongue against her bottom lip as he moved them so they could get comfortable.
Brittany could feel a smile grow as he kissed her. She got those butterflies in her stomach while she followed his moves to get comfortable. She smirked slightly, moving to straddle his hips as she smiled. "I like this. A lot." She said while gently breaking the kiss, unsure of she wanted to keep going before she got carried away.
Finn placed his hands on her hips with a smile as she straddled his hips. "Me too." He breathed out and made eye contact with her once she broke the kiss. "Also, does this mean I'll start leaving my window unlock at night and keep my bed warm for you? Cause I will."
Brittany rested her forehead on his as she smiled, giggling lightly. "I like that idea. Sure." She said while cupping his cheek. "And we can always come back in here if we're bored during the day?" She suggested while looking at his eyes
Finn smiled as she rested her forehead against his. "Great." He answered as she cupped his cheek. "Sounds perfect to me." He looked to her eyes. "This could be our secret place where we go to hide away from the world."
Brittany smiled as she nodded while looking at him. "Alright." She said while checking the time and didn't mean to move her hips against him while she reached for her phone. "I'll see you later tonight?"
Finn returned the smile and swallowed some when her hips moved against him. "Yeah, I'll see you later tonight." He gave her a smile and glanced at the time again.
Brittany smiled as she pecked his nose while she got off. "Ok!" She said while placing her hands on his knees. "Handsome." She said and got her backpack as she bent down and stood back up before heading out the door.
Finn smiled when she pecked his nose and helped her the best he way he could. He removed his hands from her hips and could feel a blush starting. "Beautiful." He replied as she headed towards the door and glanced down as he grabbed his backpack quickly before he covered his lap with it.
NOTES: Finn and Brittany go on a date, date together. After a movie and then a nice dinner over at BreadStiX, will there be something more?
Finn Hudson was never one to mix well with the McKinley Heights students. Mostly influenced by some of his football mates during his freshmen years, he had naturally grown to despise most of them due to the undeniable rivalry between the two schools. But here he was, actually spending his time with a girl from that school and actually enjoying the company of her. Sure, he was confronted a dozen times by the jerk guys for being friendly around the WMHS students but who cares about them right? Brittany had always been so amazingly nice to him and if being seen hanging out with her meant that it will cost him some popularity points, so be it. “So… can we talk about how crazy that movie was? I can’t believe they actually died in the end…” Finn started to talk as he twirled the spaghetti strands around his fork, smiling over at Brittany.
Brittany knew Finn had been struggling with his feelings for Rachel. As much as she wanted it to be a true date, she told herself to take it easy. The movies were a perfect time to snuggle up close to him to get comfortable but she held back from it. Still, she was enjoying the night with him. It was a mystery to her why Rachel hadn't decided to go ahead and try again with him. "I know! After all the cute parts I thought it was gonna have a happy ending." She had a small pout while taking a bit of her own spaghetti. She took a sip of water and shrugged. "It was awesome though. Thank you for bringing me." That was not the smartest thing to say since technically she was the one to ask and not like he brought the date up. "Or agreeing to come," she said while poking one of the meatballs on its side.
Finn nodded his head, agreeing to what she had said about the movie. “I thought they were gonna stay in the pod together or something…you think they would have kids somewhere around the place? I mean, they never really showed much of the ending, just that the whole lobby was filled with plants… so that’s a thought” The taller male added on before slurping up the spaghetti in a quiet manner. “You know, I really like hanging out with you… you shouldn’t have to thank me... really...” He replied, sounding nervous for some reason, looking down a little as he quickly took a sip out of the water, putting it down once he was done.” I should be the one thanking you instead.”
Brittany agreed while she nodded. "Me too! I really thought they'd have a little family." She cut the meat in half and took a bite, swallowing it before she talked again. "I can tell you Sing has a happy ending," she giggled and listened to him talk about how he liked being with her. "I like hanging out with you too. I mean you could've said no to this, but you didn't so, why not thank you." She explained, shaking her head a bit. "Nah. I'm the one who kind of cheered you and Rachel on and now you're sad about what didn't happen." She said, biting her bottom lip lightly. Maybe focusing on everyone else's problems took her away from her own.
Finn perked up a little when she mentioned about how they could have a little family. “Maybe their kids can have kids and...” Finn found himself stopping suddenly when he realized how wrong that sounded. “No..uh, that would...super weird” He chuckled, blushing from embarrassment. “It does? How so?” The tall male asked her before feeling a little bad about how she seemed to be blaming herself about the date that didn’t happen. “No one could see this coming Britt, not even me, you did nothing wrong...” Finn told her softly, looking at her with a soft comforting smile on his lips.
Brittany couldn't help but laugh lightly. "I got the idea though." She said with a smile, seeing his blush and liked hearing his laugh. She was glad that she could make it happen. "Yeah, but I can't tell you. That would ruin the movie!" She took a deep breath and nodded a bit. "Alright.." She said while wiping her hands on the napkin. "And you guys haven't talked since?" She asked, wondering if they were really on good terms.
Finn started to chuckle when the blonde girl replied. He was always looking forward to what she had to say. “Aww! Come on Britt! You can’t just leave me hanging like that!” His lips curving down into a playful frown before going back to take another forkful of spaghetti. “No, no…we still totally talk.” He nodded, licking his lips a little. “She even made it up to me actually…which was something else.”
Brittany laughed while shaking her head. "Nope! You're gonna have to go see it," She said and giggled, shaking her head again. "You can't expect your cute pout to get me to spoil it." She raised her eyebrows a bit. "Oh..how?" She asked curiously. Maybe this wasn't the date-date she had been looking for. She took another bite of her food while waiting for him to describe their time together.
Finn scrunched up his nose a little, chuckling when Brittany wouldn’t allow him to be spoiled. “Dammit, I thought that would have worked.” He laughed. He loved how Brittany was one of the few that he felt comfortable actually being himself and not some play pretend jerk that he had gained as a reputation amongst the lower hierarchy of the school’s pyramid. He wouldn’t blame them though. “Well...” Finn started to reply as he poked around the meatball. “She surprised me with a picnic behind the bleachers…and that’s pretty much there is too it... she does make pretty good sandwiches though” He smiled, being comfortable enough to reveal the secret picnic with Brittany.
Brittany playfully rolled her eyes after taking a bite. "Nope. You can't just take the easy way out. You have to go through the journey," She put it for a simply children's movie. Even if she wanted to throw out the typical line that they should go together again, she wasn't going to. That's possibly why she had been so quick to get to know that stranger that day. And maybe why now he was too obsessed with her every night. The girl pushed those thoughts away to focus on Finn. That wasn't difficult. "That's really sweet," She looked at his smile as she gulped a bit and looked down at her plate. "Well, you never know. Things can still change." She said softly, truly believing so. Rachel hadn't told her much about her side of the story but if she was making food for him, that meant she wasn't totally against the idea.
Finn licked his lips, taking the whole meatball into his mouth, chewing as he shook his head. “What if I say that I want to go through that journey with you?” Finn paused for a bit before chuckling a little at how cheesy it sounded but it was true though, he did genuinely want to watch another movie with her. “It was.., I couldn’t believe it myself.. It wasn’t anything more though…just a way to make it up to me I guess.” The tall guy replied. “I don’t know...I just, I have a feeling that she has..” Finn hesitated a little, thinking back about the text he got from Quinn about how Puck and Rachel were childhood friends.
Brittany Finn caught Brittany's attention when he mentioned that he wanted to. It made her smile, nodding a bit when really she was more enthusiastic about it than that. "Then I'd say let's do it." She replied. She saw her plate almost empty and wished she had another meatball to push around while listening to him talk to her about Rachel. It was fair since she had welcomed it all. She set her fork down and decided that she was finished. "She has...?" She questioned, tilting her head to the side slightly.
Finn’s smile only grew wider when Brittany accepted his offer for hanging out again. “Awesome! We should totally do this next week, on the weekends maybe?” The tall male replied, feeling good about this. “Someone else in mind… someone probably better than me.” He shrugged his shoulders. “It’s alright though, as long as she’s happy.” Finn then noticed how Brittany’s plate was empty before looking down at his own and seeing how he had one piece of meatball left. “Here, you can have it.” He smiled, offering it to her as he lifted up the meatball onto her plate.
Brittany was once in her life nervous about asking the question she had thought of. "Like um..dates?" She asked, figuring she'd probably regret it. She frowned as he said someone better than him. "Don't think like that. If she doesn't like you, then whatever but, you can't think like that about yourself. You're amazing and one of a kind. Yeah it's really good that she's happy but you? That's, way more important for yourself." She said and shook her head a bit. "I'm not hungry, but thank you," She said while carefully lifting it onto her own and handing it back over.
Finn nodded his head slowly, tilting it a little. “Well, yeah…like a date.” He smiled before chuckling softly when Brittany started explain to him about the thing he said about how Rachel was falling for a guy better than him. He heard that a lot more times that he could count but he honestly never believed that he was as amazing as the other guys out there. It was something he had to overcome himself... though there was no denying how she was right about him being happy though. “Thank you Britt.. I am..I am happy.” He replied with a genuine smile. Brittany always had brought out positivity in almost anything, that fact alone was precious to Finn. “If you say so.” The quarterback teased with a laugh before plopping the final meatball in his mouth.
Brittany couldn't help the smile that appeared on her face. "Awesome." She said while not wanting to jinx this. She assumed she did well not broadcasting this to anyone. Even if he was depending on the brunette, she didn't want him to. His state of mind was important. "What makes you feel better? Football? A certain movie? Sex?" She brought up since to her it was a perfectly reasonable thing. That would lift anyone's spirit. "Good. I want you to be." She let him know and laughed lightly as he ate it. "It was delicious though."
Finn was really glad Brittany seemed to be open for another for them to hang out and date. He really did like her and he couldn't wait to get to know more about her. “Well, Football helps in keeping my mind off about all the assignments that I have yet to complete..so..” He laughed before shaking his head a little, blushing slightly at the sex comment. “I do usually make myself a grilled cheese sandwich...maybe like a couple...or ten...” He chuckled. “What about you? What makes you feel happy?” He asked with a smile, interested in her answer to that before nodding his head, rubbing his tummy a little. “Yeah, it was as amazing as ever.”
Brittany watched him blush, hiding her smirk that wanted to creep up on her lips. She bit her lip and simply smiled instead. "That's cool." She said, giggling as he joked about his grilled cheese sandwiches. She hummed a bit and knew the typical things she said were along the lines of coloring or unicorns. She glanced down at her plate and shrugged a bit. "Reading gets me in a good mood. Those Corgi dogs really make me smile too. Dancing obviously, since I've been doing it since I was little. Oh, and making other people laugh. I love that." She mentioned and set her napkin on the table once she was finished with it.
Finn leaned in just a little as he listened to Brittany talk about all the things that she liked doing that made happy. “You got good taste in puppies, Corgis always makes everything better. Have you seen the video where a Corgi shakes its butt against a sick beat?” The tall male laughed a little before looking down a little. “You do the laughing thing really well, let’s be real here.” He replied in a slightly playful manner. “What got you into the whole dancing groove?”
Brittany laughed when she remembered it. "I have." She said while nodded slightly. "Thanks," She thought for a moment. "My parents saw how much I liked it when I was little and at first I went to classes but was taken out for some reason. I'm not sure what got me into it, I just, started liking it. She felt her phone buzz a bit and frowned slightly, not wanting to go but knew she had to and hope for the best when she showed up at her door.
Finn found himself chuckling along when Brittany said how she had seen the movie. “Sounds like that’s how most hobbies start out huh? I think the only move that I can do perfectly is maybe the one where you put your left hand up to the side a little and down to the other side in repeat.” He chuckled before tilting his head when he saw the blonde girl’s expression suddenly changed. “Is everything okay?”
Brittany giggled when he explained which was the only dance move he could perform. "You're still trying which is better." She didn't want to interrupt their good time by telling him. Not that she didn't trust him, but it was a date and she wanted it to end on a happy note despite what had happened yesterday. "Yeah, sorry. So, are you getting dessert? That can be my treat as a thank you." Her smile returned.
Finn nodded when Brittany said she was okay though he was slightly concerned. He didn’t want to ask her on about it, just in case it was a personal issue and he wanted to respect that. “Hey it’s fine, you don’t have to treat me anything.” He chuckled before nodding his head once again. “How does getting one of those fancy hot chocs sound for dessert?
Brittany smiled while she nodded eagerly. "Yes! I can't believe I forgot about it." She said with a soft giggle. She was grateful for tonight since it did take her mind off things. Tonight should be a little better, hopefully. If not her day was going to make up for it.

Trigger Warnings: None.
niall
Niall had been going on dates with Amelia for the past month and she still had two months left in London before she was planning to go back to New York but he didn't want to wait two months to ask her to be his girlfriend, so he just knew he had to do it then. They knew so much about each other and had spent countless days with each other and although his life was crazy and he was always either in the studio or busy wiht interviews, he was always making time to make plans with her. He really enjoyed her company, and she was just amazing and she had already sung him a broadway song and her voice was incredible. He was just amazed by her and he was hoping she would want to be his girlfriend. His cousin was out for the day and whilst he was out, he had planned for them to have a movie day at his and just really a chill relaxing day because she had said she was feeling a bit down and didn't want to do too much and he appreciated that and made it as chill as he could.
amelia
Amelia had enjoyed spending time with Niall, he was a busy man but had always made time for her since they met and it meant a lot to her because he had become someone she really cared for over the past month and she was falling for him slowly but surely. She was having a weird day wasn't feeling herself or anything but they had arranged ot meet and she didn't want to cancel so she asked for a relaxing day with him. She arrived at his place and was let in by the concierge and knocked on the door waiting for him to respond.
niall
Niall was happy that things were going well with Amelia, the last person he dated was Hailee and that was hard to get over, clearly he wrote a whole album about it. But he was falling for the girl, but he was known to fall fast and he expected it with her. As he heard the door, he smiled putting his guitar down and walked to the door to open it. Seeing her face there, he smiled as he pulled her in for a hug and smiled, "Hello beautiful. Glad you made it. You okay, want a cup of tea?" He smiled looking over at her, over the past month he had learned that she liked tea when she was feeling down.
amelia
Amelia stood there as she felt his arms around her and smiled hugging him back, it was definitely something she needed. She smiled walking into his place and smiled nodding, "Of course I did, did you think I would cancel on you? I couldn't do that, not to you." She laughed a little pecking his cheek for a moment before nodding, "A tea would be great thank you." She smiled looking over at him before picking his guitar up, she had no clue how to play but since it was sitting there she sat on the sofa and started trying to play it for a moment, knowing it would catch his attention.
niall
Niall laughed a little, "No I don't think I thought you were going to cancel. Well aren't you sweet beautiful." He smiled stroking her hair for a moment, he was definitely comfortable around her but he just enjoyed being around her. He nodded, "One Tea coming up." He laughed, he walked over to the kitchen whilst she stayed in his living room and as he had made the tea, he came out of the kitchen and walked into the living room to see her play his guitar and he couldn't help but laugh, he could tell she didn't know how to play. He smiled walking towards her and putting the tea on the table next to where she was sitting before taking a seat next to her, "Do you even know how to play? Because it soundsss. well it sounds like loudso f random notes all over the place." He laughed, "I can teach you if you like?"
amelia
Amelia looked over at him and laughed a little looking over at the guy for a moment, "Only to certain people." She smiled as she waited for the tea she continued to play the guitar and looked at him as he walked back in and laughed a little shaking her head, "No I don't know how to play. Just thought I would pick it up thought it would come naturally to me." She laughed, she knew it wasn't like that, "Okay I am kidding there, I have always wanted to learn but never had the patience. Don't trust me, my best friend Sam tried to teach me for like 3 months but I got so annoyed that it didn't work out. I don't have patience to learn an instrument and I am okay with that. I can though play the piano." She laughed a little looking at him, "So what did you have planned for today?"
niall
Niall glanced at her for a moment and laughed a little looking at him before hearing her speak and laughed a little, "I was about to say I hope you're joking. It took me a long time to get the hang of it but I love playing so I am glad I do. Well if you are really sure you don't want to then I won't teach you. Oh you play the piano? One day you'll have to show me." He smiled before sitting there as he looked at her as he stroked the lose hair that was in her face away before looking at her, "Well we can do anything, we can have a movie day or games day, I mean I only really have board games at the moment but we can do that." He smiled looking over at him.
amelia
Amelia glanced over at him and smiled for am oment and nodded, "Well I will leave you to be the one to play the guitar, you sound great playing it. I do. One day, not now but one day." She smiled, "It was something I picked up when Finn died, it was something to calm me down and my anxiety down. Made me happy for the first time in a long time." She smiled at the memory before looking at him and laughed, "Both sounds good, movie can be back ground noise and we can play monopoly. I really want to see how competitive you are." She laughed before she took his hand and looked at him, "Hey before we do anything, i need to thank you, the past month, you made me believe in a lot of things I gave up on believing in, like love for example, I had never wanted to open up to anyone in a long time till I met you. This last month has probably been one of the best I have had in a while and when I came to visit my cousin I never expected this, I came because I needed a break from the city and everything. I was lost in life I guess. I am not saying a guy fixes that but you did make me feel better." She looked over at him and leaned in and kissed his cheek for a moment.
niall
Niall looked over at her for a brief moment, and nodded, "Well I am very glad that you like to hear me play the guitar, might do it more often just for you now. Okay I look forward to it." He smiled, hearign her mention Finn made him smile, he knw it was a painful memory for her and he knew that if she openly talked about him, she trusted him and it helped her move on, she had told him that before and he was never going to tell her to stop if it was what she needed. "Music can be a great healer when it is needed, but glad you got into something." He smiled, everyone who he had seen in the past month could tell he was falling for this girl, he went for drinks with Lewis the other week and he straight out said it. He looked at her, "Okay perfect, oh I can get really competitive especially with Monopoly." he laughed a little looking at her again, he heard her words as she took his hand and he just held onto it for a moment as he took his other to stroke her cheek, she was beautiful and amazing and making his heart skip a beat for a moment, "Amelia, you don't need ot thank me, I am glad that I have been able to put a smile on your face and I am glad that you have been able to open up with me. Amelia, you have made the last month enjoyable for me, I got back from tour expecting the next few months to be a bit slow and not much going on but just a chance to have a mini break but then you came a long and I haven't been as excited for something as I have to spend time with you and get to know you and see where this goes. Amelia, look I know it's only been a month but I need to do this now because I just know how I feel, I know I fall fast and I have accepted that, but I really like you Amelia and I just know I want to spend more time with you, and see where this goes. Amelia, will you be my girlfriend?" He realised he had said her name too many times there but he needed to.
amelia
Amelia glanced over at him for a moment and laughed a little looking over at him for a brief moment and nodded, "It definitely is a good healer in time." She smiled looking over at him and laughed a little raising her eyebrows for a moment and shook her head for a moment, "Oh really? Well I look forward to seeing it." She smiled for a brief moment. She listened to him and his Irish accent made everything sound better, but his words hit her, he was really sweet and she really liked him and hearing his words, she smiled as she heard his question, she smiled, "I would love to be your girlfriend. Honestly you have become someone so important to me in such a short amount of time." She smiled and leaned in and kissed him passionately for a moment.
niall
Niall looked over at her and smiled for a moment and nodded, "Oh trust me, you ill regret that." He laughed a little. Looking over at her he smiled holding onto her tightly, he was smitten with the girl and would do anything to be with her no matter what. "You have become such an important person to me as well Amelia. I am very happy to hear this though." He smiled as he kissed her passionately for a moment
amelia
She smiled and laughed a little looking at him, "Sure I will." She shook her head for a moment and smiled as she held onto him for a moment, her mind just went crazy for a moment, "You're the first person to make me feel special at all times since Finn and I am just in so much shock... I need to tell you something, I know its only been a month but I love you Niall. I know things are going to be different once I go back to New York in a couple of months but I know we can make it work." She smiled for a moment as she kissed him softly.
niall
He looked over at her and laughed a little loooking at her as she was talking he was so shocked to hear the words but it was everything he had been feeling, he knew he fell fast which is why he hadn't told her because he didn't want to scare her off. He smiled and held on to her and smiled kissing her deeply for a moment, "I love you too Amelia. I am glad you feel special around me because are special to me. I know you haven't vlogged around me since beign here and I know it's your job and I am very greatful that you chose to keep this private for now. We will make it work babe, I promise you this will work no matter." He smiled holding on to her for a moment kissing the top of her forehead, "How about we just watch a film?"
amelia
She looked over at him and smiled for a moment as she bit her lip, hearing him say the words made her smile and feel so much better. As he kissed her deeply, she kissed back as she held onto him, "Of course I do. And I wanted to keep it private too, I vlog when I can or have to but other then that I keep it private. It's not that big of a deal." She smiled looking over at him and nodded, "I am glad you are as sure as I am." She smiled as she held onto him and nodded, "I like the sound of that, what film though?"
niall
Niall kept his smile on his face, he never expected to come off tour and find himself a girlfriend but he did and he was very much happy about it. He smiled looking at her, "You're amazing did you know that? One day you can put me in your vlog if you want." He smiled kissing her cheek for a moment and nodded, "Of course I am. Plus gives me more of a reason to visit New York." He smiled kissing her forehead for a moment and laughed, "Good question, hmm what kind of film did you wanna watch? Maybe Moulin Rouge? Or I might even let you put Hamilton on."
amelia
She looked over at him for a moment, this guy had done something to her, he made her believe in love again and she was very greatful for that because it took a while. "Well some people have said that in the past. One day I will maybe when I am at a concert of yours but for now I don't want to do that." She smiled as she played with his hair for a moment and nodded, "You can visit the greatest city in the world. I am sure my friends would love to meet you. I will warn you now, Kurt might give you a speech and blah blah blah but hes amazing and my best friend but they are all great." She smiled, the thought of them made her miss them more. She smiled for a moment, "Oh you want to watch a musical? Well how about Moulin Rouge? I love Hamilton but seen it to many times now I need a break."
niall
He smiled looking over at her and laughed a little, she was always making him laugh and he loved that and nodded, "I understand that." He smiled as he felt her hands in his hair and he loved it when she played with her hair, smiling he looked over at her and nodded, "Well I look forward ot meeting them all especially Kurt. How about I come down a month after you have left? I am heading to LA for a few weeks at some point so can come either before or after." He smiled looking over at her for a brief moment and nodded, "Okay well that sounds perfect." He smiled kissing the side of her head as he put the tv on and looked over at her for a moment as he wrapped his arm around her, "I am excited for our future together!"
amelia
She smiled as she glanced over at him for a moment and nodded as she ran a hand through her hair for a moment and laughed a little before hearing his words and smiled, "Oh my gosh that would be amazing, I would love it if you came out that would be great." She smiled as she hugged him tightly and she nodded and smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder, "I am excited for our future together too." She smiled as she stroked his leg for a moment.
niall
He smiled looking over at her and nodded, "Well then I will come. We will make this work, I know we will. I look forward to the day you get your broadway show and I get to watch you perform." He smiled looking over at her for a moment as he wrapped his arm around tightly and stroked her hair for a moment.
amelia
She smiled glancing over at him for a brief moment, "We will for sure." She smiled for a moment, "I can't wait for that." She smiled for a brief moment efore laying her head on his shoulder and watched the film. As the film came to an end, she ran a hand through her hair for a moment before looking up at him, "Well that was a good film." She smiled as she gave him a soft kiss for a moment.Message #becoming-official
