The famous plane Bremen hangs over the equally famous DeWitt Clinton train in Grand Central Station, May 21, 1929. It was unveiled by Mayor Walker, Major James Fitzmaurice, one of the crew, and many flyers and officials. It was presented to the City of New York and was placed in the New York Museum (Museum of the City of New York?) when that building was completed. The Bremen was the first plane to cross the Atlantic from East to West.
