F22 Raptor 😎
Did up another arcade neon/mix media plen. The DC-3 appears to be my victim for art experiments rn seeing as this is my 2nd DC-3 in the last couple weeks? Ah well, this was fun! And felt nice to let loose in art mode again, I've needed this all week. <3
Impressive Performance MiG-17's Air Show in Sacramento, US-CA.
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17 is a Russian fighter jet that was developed in the 1950s as a successor to the MiG-15 and saw combat in the 1960s during the Vietnam War. Although not supersonic, it was capable of very tight turns and armed with three cannons, making it deadly against American fighters like the F-4 Phantom and the F-8 Crusader. The MiG-17 was the first Russian fighter jet to have an afterburner, which dumps raw fuel in to the exhaust to increase the thrust.
The MiG-17 is visually differentiated from the earlier MiG-15 by wings which are more swept back, a longer fuselage, three fences on each wing instead of two, and a fin on the bottom of the fuselage. Over 10,000 were built and it was the standard general purpose day fighter for many Soviet satellite countries during the Cold War.
Top speed is 680 mph in level flight and over 710 mph with the afterburner. It can climb to 30,000 feet in only three minutes.
The F-22 Raptor is a masterpiece of modern aviation, renowned for its stealth, speed, and unmatched aerial combat capabilities. Celebrating cutting-edge technology and air superiority, this design on Redbubble is perfect for aviation enthusiasts!

AIRCRAFTS IN FLYING.
When Giants Flew: The Lost World of WWII's Massive Seaplanes (documentary)
Valkyrie- she is so gorgeous! 54 years ago February 4th 1969 was her last flight. She took off from Edwards Air Force Base,CA and flew to the National Airport Museum in Dayton Ohio for her retirement. Over the next few days I'll be posting a lot more about her. Out of, all the aircraft in history that I've studied. From the Wright flyer to the F-35, J20, Su 57 and of course the one that is the most badass ass of all thee F-22 Raptor! The Xb70 valkyrie has been my favorite I started actively researching aircraft at the age of six, 1974. I would dream daily of seeing her. As of yet I've never seen her in person. That all changes in about 2 months, I'll be seeing her for the first time in her new birth and I am very excited. I've been by the museum three times, but I was only on the East Coast for family emergencies! I grew up and have lived my life on the west coast, in Seattle! Being an aviation historian, has been a fun lifelong Pursuit, full of passion! Valkyrie is truly the most beautiful aircraft I've ever laid eyes on!
