actually, most of the birthday tweets have been tardy lately, i think? most recently for tsmugi and munekata i think their tweets were like three days late? and ryota's right before kiyo and didn't tweet anything yet. so kodaka might not get something up right away. also just a hunch, but since kodaka's tweets are usually accompanied by pictures of 'gifts' that characters have received, it might also have to do with any delays that japan's mail service might also be dealing with rn as well.
ah that’s fair. i too remember when spike chunisoft didnt bring up korekiyo’s birthday in favor of avocado day as well.
Happy Avocado Day!
I thought I’d use this opportunity to revisit Jenna Coleman’s infamous avocado annecdote.

It's Monday, the 31st of July, and today is Avocado Day!
Some fun avocado facts for everyone:
The avocado is native to south central Mexico and the oldest evidence of the existence of avocado dates back to 10,000 BC.
The earliest known written record of avocado in Europe dates back to 1519 in Martín Fernández de Enciso's book "Suma De Geographia Que Trata De Todas Las Partidas Y Provincias Del Mundo" but the first use of the word 'avocado' in Europe was not until 1696 in Hans Sloane's index of Jamaican plants.
The 'Hass' avocado is the most common kind and all Hass avocados can trace their roots back to a single 'mother tree' that was raised by a mail carrier named Rudolph Hass from California; unfortunately this mother tree died of root rot in September 2002.
There are many other kinds of avocados other than the Hass. Some of these include the Choquette, the Lula, the Pinkerton, and the Maluma.
In 2014, world production of avocados was at 5 million tonnes with avocados from Mexico accounting for 30% of that; other major produces of avocado include the Dominican Republic, Peru, Indonesia, and Columbia. In 2015 over 4 billion avocados were sold in the United States alone.
And there are your avocado facts! Enjoy Avocado Day and the last day of July! Tomorrow is the first of August and the year just seems to keep flying by! Hopefully you have all had a good July but if not, the new month is always a good time to start over and there are sure to be plenty of wonderful things waiting for you as we get further into summer! 💗🌞
