4-Ingredient Avocado Milkshake You'll be surprised by this quick and simple recipe for sweet, silky, and creamy milkshakes made with ripe avocados, milk, and sugar.
Avocado Milkshake
Location: Su and Shi in Square One food court, Mississauga
Price: $5.99
Admittedly, it didn't sound that appealing, because avocados are the butter of fruits and I couldn't imagine how it would be if it was milk. But, I like avocados, and I like milkshakes, and I like the colour green, so putting them all together shouldn't be too bad??? Too much of a good thing, is perhaps, on occasion, an even better thing?? I hope??
To those who think I simply like everything, this drink stands as testament against such a statement. It tastes like a giant avocado. In a cup. Kathy's words, and I agree. It's a giant avocado in a cup. Where's the milk part of the milkshake. It's drinking an avocado. I'm not a fan of this sensation. It's not blended well so it feels really thick and like I'm suffocating in a solid wall of avocado. Kathy seems to enjoy it and I've no idea how.
I tried to add some milk and sugar into it but the avocado flavour is so uncompromising and unrelenting that attempts are futile. Nothing is changing this flavour. It's actually so bad. So bad. I might have to dump this and I hate wasting food and money.
I chucked it. Specifically, I agonised over it and Kathy plucked it from my grasp and chucked it for me while I low pitched whisper-screamed.

“Where should I go to eat?”
Our first day in Vietnam Mark and I were very tired. We had been traveling for almost 24 hours by the time we got to Hanoi at 8AM local time. It was about 9:30 when we got to the hostel, but check-in time wasn’t until 1PM. We had them hold our bags and went out to eat and explore the Hanoi.
Hanoi is not an easy city for…
