just reminding myself... there will always be people that want to ruin things for other people because that is just what they do and who they strive to be. whether it's to gain the smallest feeling of power (in their minds) over others, because they're cruel and sadistic, or just a bitter person, do not let them ruin things for you. do not let them be satisfied. they are assholes. there will be multiple sides to things, so enjoy the good aspects! they have nothing better to do than to fuck with your emotions, but you have many better things to do than listen to their stupid opinions and let them get to you (as smart or well worded as they may be).

I have been getting a lot of shit on my dash saying how people are offended by the content of Tumblr and support the censorship thing that plaguing the site. Honestly, shut the fuck up.

If Tumblr is really that bad of a place, DON'T USE THE DAMN SITE. Nobody is forcing you to use this site. If facebook, twitter or 9gag is more your style, then by all means go use those. Nobody's stopping you.

"I don't understand all these hate messages that are constantly being sent to my ask box." - Solution, TURN OFF YOUR MESSAGING. As horrible as it is to think about, there are little jerks that intentionally make hate oriented blogs to make others feel bad. They make these blogs because they are bullies, and they get off on telling you that "you're ugly", or "Go kill yourself" because they know that in all reality, there is almost a 0% chance that it will ever come back to haunt them, so long as they stay Anon.

Tumblr is a place where a lot of people get together to express themselves in their own ways. Sadly some of those ways are negative and hateful. You cannot control how somebody wishes to act or express themselves on the internet. Plain and simple as that.

I do not condone these actions, nor do I partake in them. I am actually very much against people doing it, but at the same time wish that people would just get over the fact that there are assholes on this site. They get off on the fact that they can make you sad, and that people will follow them because of their actions, because there are others like them. 

The most that we as a community of bloggers can do, is report the scum as the scum they are, block them and don't associate yourself with them. They can only get at you as much as you let them on this site, and if that means turning off your anon setting in your messages, then so be it. Block them, and turn your head towards the other bloggers on this site that are nicer, and more driven on positive expression.

Sorry about the rant, but honestly, the hate and negativity on this site is avoidable.
