Day 3 (Tue July 13th): Embrace your geekiness day

“Love you too,” said Derek, accepting a second kiss from his boyfriend and pretending he could not see Isaac and Erica cracking up at his baffled expression on the side.
But honestly, this was not what he had expected when he had given Stiles two tickets.
Why would he even consider bringing Derek? Derek knew shit about the Avengers and Marvel. He just knew that for some reason this time around they were fighting each other and that was it, why the fuck would Stiles want to bring him to see the panel?
However, it wasn’t like Derek could say that he had absolutely no interest in going, not with the happy smile on Stiles’ face.
The only problem was that he knew nothing about the Marvel Universe or the Avengers in particular. What if someone asked him a question and then he ended up embarrassing Stiles? What if he clapped at the wrong thing, or agreed with a cast member who played a character Stiles did not like?
Stiles probably wouldn’t care, but it would be embarrassing and, one way or another, Erica would find out and then give him shit for the rest of his life over it. That couldn’t happen.
So, over the next few days, Derek did something his teenager self would have been ashamed of him for doing.
He marathon-ed every piece of content on Marvel and the Avengers, starting from the Captain America movies as the internet suggested, and working his way up.
