Why on earth anyone would choose to have him dogsit was beyond him. He had never really been alone with his coworker’s dog, not that it made any sort of difference. Animals in general never really took any sort of liking to him. He used to think it was just because they just didn’t like him personally, but someone at the foundation had told him fairly gracefully that he didn’t exactly smell right, not quite like a human should smell. But at least he knew why.
So now he was left with a skittish dog, a medium sized border collie who had bit him twice before he finally managed to fasten the leash around her neck. She was to be walked twice a day, to “get rid of extra energy”, but honestly, the dog spent so much time in the house trying to run away from him that it probably wouldn’t have been necessary for walks. But he had promised to take care of the dog as best as he could, so a walk in the park it was.
She spent the entire time pulling on the leash, and when he finally let her go run around in the dog park, she performed a jump that somehow landed her on the other side of the fence and into the neighbouring park. Lovely. Hyunwoo ran after her, vaulting over the fence as well, but by the time he landed, there was no sign of her. Maybe she had shot into a bush or something. Either way, he was responsible for returning the dog to her owner, so he needed to find her. It was significantly easier though, when they weren’t in the dog park. There were less animal scents around in the air, and he managed to find her scent without much trouble. Now to just track it down to the source...
