It takes him... a little too long to respond. He's thinking about it, really thinking, his eyes cast upward and away and lips pressed into a line. With everything that's been happening, is he happy? With his friends furious with him, with danger looming over their heads because of him, while feeling like a stranger in his own home.

He's pushing himself a little too hard. His employees give him worried glances when they think he's not looking. Exhausted, stressed, and distant. No bark or bite left. All he really wants to do is smoke, but he can't even do that now.

But he's alive and that counts for something. Maybe.
