Tchia first launched for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Epic Games Store on March 21, 2023, and Steam on March 21, 2024.

About
When an idyllic series of islands is attacked by strange fabric-made creatures who kidnap her father, a young girl named Tchia answers the call of adventure to rescue her family and her home. Tchia has plenty of tools at her disposal, ranging from a simple slingshot to the ability to jump into nearby creatures and objects. Called Soul Jumping, this power lets Tchia control animals. She can soar high in the sky as a seagull or swim through beautiful blue oceans as a fish. Using these abilities and more, Tchia fights off the monsters that have taken over her home and helps the island’s inhabitants. Jump into this love-letter to New Caledonia, a bright adventure filled with tender moments, beautiful vistas, charming characters, and a story that contends with a young person’s place in the world.

Possessing Mechanic
Tchia’s special gift lets you take control of any animal or object you can find. Use their unique gameplays and abilities to travel, solve puzzles and uncover secrets. Fly around as a bird, explore the ocean as a fish or dig treasures as a dog. Over 30 playable animals and hundreds of objects.
Exploration and Traversal
Jump and glide your way across a vast archipelago and use the Tricks system for cool stunts and dives. The free climbing mechanic lets you ascend anything in the world without restriction including any physics-driven tree. Sail your customizable boat on turquoise lagoons and dive around coral reefs and shipwrecks.
Ukulele
Just jamming by yourself or playing alongside NPCs, your fully playable ukulele will be a trusty companion throughout the game. Awaceb will release Tchia for Switch this summer and is available today for PC via Steam, the developer announced.

Soul Melodies
Spawn Food – Immediately summon a—frankly ridiculous—amount of food in a circle around you, to replenish your stamina. Stash the leftovers in your backpack for later! It’s fast food the Tchia way!
Random Cosmetics – Don’t spend hours fretting over your outfit—let the game decide. Who says you can’t wear a shark hat with a clown outfit? Not us, that’s for sure. This randomizes all of your cosmetics :)
Acrobat Mode – Why jump a reasonable height when you could jump a completely ridiculous height and distance? Spin in the air faster and pull off the best flips and tricks you could possibly imagine.
Human Torch – Become fire! Your slingshot will be able to shoot fireballs, and every object you touch EXPLODES! Super good for clearing camps.
Super Boat – Your boat can go super duper fast with this. Fun for exploration, and for doing super quick sea zoomies. The fish will be in awe.
Invoke Boat – Forgot where you parked your sea vessel? Worry not. Summon a boat whenever needed, and sail the seas without a care.
Cosmetic Perks
Attract Animals – Wear a full outfit of a certain animal, and you’ll suddenly find them following you wherever possible! Lead a gang of sharks, crabs, or cows, or birds, or—well, any animal in Tchia. Has no benefit other than looking super cool.
Comfort Setting
Infinite Soul-Meter – You will be able to find this in your comfort settings. Tired of your Soul Meter depleting? Here’s a way for you to play soul melodies to your hearts content without the bar ever going down… Be a bird forever, the sky’s the limit!
